It is a lovely hotel, very well positioned but it’s also quiet despite the central location. The rooms are extremely clean, spacious and beautiful. It is a family run business and everyone there is lovely. They make you feel like home!

There is nothing I didn’t like about the property.

Besonders gefallen haben uns die herzliche und zuvorkommende Betreuung, die tolle Lage, das freundliche Personal und das individuelle, einzigartige Frühstück.

Das Hotel ist leider etwas hellhörig, sodass man Geräusche aus den Nachbarzimmern und von außen deutlich hören kann.

I really loved the hotel. It has a very traditional style, which perfectly reflects the atmosphere of Chania. The suite was excellent for our family and very comfortable with our children. Having one floor for them and another for us gave everyone plenty of space and privacy. The rooms were always very clean, and it was a lovely touch to always have water, snacks, and coffee available. Overall, we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

The breakfast was good overall, but it was quite simple and limited. I understand that it is meant to be a healthy breakfast, but there were not many options. It mainly consisted of an omelette, homemade cake, and Greek yogurt, with only two pieces of cake and one serving of Greek yogurt for the whole family. In my opinion, the hotel could improve and expand the breakfast selection. More variety would make the overall experience even better.

The location is on the prettiest street, next to the best hotel in Chania. The family are so welcoming and the breakfast and shaded garden to eat in is wonderful.

Die Unterkunft war unglaublich toll! Direkt in der Altstadt, in der Nähe von allen Restaurants, Shoppingmöglichkeiten und vom Hafen. Wir hatten das Maisonette-Zimmer, welches wirklich sehr geräumig und perfekt für Familien ist. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber! Das Frühstück wird mit viel Liebe draußen auf der Terrasse serviert. Alle sind immer sehr nett, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Wenn ich noch mal nach Chania komme, dann gerne wieder in die gleiche Unterkunft.

Déjeuner délicieux et généreux. Personnel très sympa et donnant de bons conseils. Chambre et salle de bain correctes.

Dommage que le déjeuner ne soit pas présenté sous forme de buffet même s'il était très bon. Les matelas sont assez durs...

Nao havia recepção ativa 24h. Precisei chamar um taxi de última hora as 6h da manha e nao havia ninguém para auxiliar.

The location, staff, cleanliness, bedroom, free drinking water. They have beach towel per request. Breakfast can be improved by adding more selections if you stay more than 2 nights, otherwise it was good as well

La struttura è nel centro storico di Chania, una zona completamente pedonale. É curatissima, con un bellissimo patio dove abbiamo consumato le colazioni servite al tavolo da personale gentilissimo. La nostra camera era molto elegante, al secondo piano e si affacciava sulla caratteristica piazzetta. A disposizione degli ospiti una bellissima terrazza al secondo piano della struttura. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato in camera una bottiglia di vino bianco e una bottiglia d’acqua. L’acqua veniva fornita ogni giorno gratuitamente. La colazione al tavolo prevedeva cappuccino o altre bevande calde, yogurt greco con frutta, fette di torta fatta in casa, succo d’arancia, un piatto tipico greco che variava ogni giorno e uova preparate al momento (omelette, strapazzate, ecc). Ma il valore aggiunto di Ionas Hotel è la famiglia che lo gestisce: Christine, Michel e Sofianna. Persone squisite, gentilissime, cordiali, sempre disponibili a scambiare una parola senza essere invadenti. Traspare la passione con cui gestiscono il luogo. La nostra ottima opinione del posto è stata confermata dal libro lasciato all’ingresso con le entusiaste dediche scritte dagli ospiti. Il voto 10 che lasciamo é assolutamente meritatissimo. Superfluo aggiungere che consigliamo a tutti il soggiorno qui.

A lovely, cozy hotel in the heart of the Old Town. It is well-maintained and tastefully decorated. The room was perfectly clean and quiet, and the breakfast was unforgettable. The staff were amazing.

Se proprio devo essere pignola, la colazione non è a buffet e poco varia.

Very good breakfast.

The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. Location is amazing right in the heart of Old town. The staff were very nice and accommodated us and lent us beach towels prior to check in. Breakfast was amazing!

Our room was definitely a bit small for a longer stay, but worked for us for a short stay.

Emplacement central dans la vieille ville mais au calme sur une petite place pleine de charme et silencieuse la nuit. Excellents restaurants locaux aux environs immédiats; le port est à proximité. Petit-déjeuner copieux et servis avec des mets délicieux et originaux; grande terrasse ombrée. Bref un excellent hôtel avec un personnel attentionné.

La salle de douche est un peu petite et le mécanisme de mise en marche de la douche mérite d'avoir fait polytechnique parfois....

Ionas Hotel was outstanding. It’s only a couple minutes walk to the main area and is situated within Old Chania. The staff was the best, helping us nail down our itinerary and enjoy our stay. The breakfast was amazing. I have nothing to say other than amazing!

La colazione era eccellente, servita al tavolo e non con il solito buffet. C’era di tutto. Frutta, yogurt, torte, uova e sempre una proposta cretese diversa ogni mattina. Una menzione particolare a Voula che portava la colazione e brava Anna la cuoca!!!!

Φανταστικό δωμάτιο, τοποθεσία, καθαριότητα, το κρεβάτι ήταν πολύ άνετο και τα σεντόνια μοσχοβολούσαν! Όλο το προσωπικό μας έκανε να νιώσουμε φιλόξενα. Ιδιαίτερα ευχαριστηθήκαμε το εκπληκτικό πρωινό με την τόσο ευγενική κυρία που το σερβίρει. Σίγουρα θα ξαναέμενα εκεί

Θα θέλαμε μια μεγαλύτερη ευελιξία στο checkout, όπως μας είπαν την πρώτη ημέρα ότι είναι εφικτό.

Sofianne and her family do a great job. It's very easy to feel at home in their property. It's the second time I'm in the island for work, and I'll keep counting on them for future visits. Great people and great place!

Sehr schönes Hotel in der Altstadt, trotzdem sehr ruhig. Super Frühstück im Innenhof, gerne wieder.

Très joli hôtel meublé avec goût et literie de qualité (très grand lit). Bien situé. Petit déjeuner dans une jolie cour. A noter que la chambre au RDC n'est pas vraiment accessible aux personnes PMR (marches et petite salle de bain).

The breaffast was wonderful, the wait staff incredibly friendly. I would stay here again and againe! We loved it.

We were greeted by Sophie Anna, she is so sweet! We love her entire family! The stay was top notch and the breakfasts were so delicious. I enjoyed sitting on our private deck and watching the pedestrians below. Especially the tour groups that would come through just to see your beautiful home. We loved everything!

We had a great room with balcony in a beautiful hotel in the heart of the old town. The staff were very friendly and efficient, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and strong with classy toiletries and the breakfast was delicious.

Loved the location - easily walkable to everything, and yet on a quiet street compared to the busy areas around. Beautiful room and shared balcony - everything was clean and well kept. Amazing breakfast and wonderful staff. Everyone was helpful! Also the water machine downstairs was a nice touch - nice addition instead of having to waste plastic bottles.

Location is perfect, easy to walk by in the old town. Clean till its max. Breakfast is fresh and delicious. Even the juice they squeeze it immediately. The people are amazing and friendly. They help and make things so easy for you

We hod only one night in Chania, would have liked to stay longer.

The hotel is very well located. The hotel has a really nice atmosphere, is very pretty and well decorated .The room is super comfortable, the air conditioning works well and everything is clean. The breakfast is very tasty and the staff is super nice.

Ambiance familiale

The property is amazing! From the location, to the rooms, design, cleanness to the amazing hosts and the great breakfast… all was perfect and we loved every moment of our stay.

There is nothing not to like about this place.
