Tetamu hotel sepatutnya dapat parking percuma di dalam bangunan ataupun diskaun parking. Sarapan percuma pun patut ada untuk tetamu sekurang2 nya untuk 2 orang. Dobi 24 jam di bawah sangat mahal dan tidak berpatutan.

The room is very spacious and clean.

Room is spacious and complete with microwave and cutleries. Slightly away from busy areas so traffic is not a problem. Self service laundry and jom jom mart is readily available and convenient.

Some of the staff were not helpful. Our keycard was not working when we wanted to enter the room. When we called reception using hp, they told us to go down and reset it. Room cleaning would only be done after 2pm. So if u plan to stay in after 1pm, be prepared to stay in an unmade room.

The location is central to the city center but it is not walkable. You will have to take a taxi if you want to go to the city center. There are restaurants nearby within walking distance and also a laundramat next door to the hotel. The swimming pool was very nice.

Checking in is too late. Normally we can check in by 2:00 pm but we had to wait until 3:00 pm.

Very minor things (nothing to stop booking) - no hooks anywhere for towels (family of four sharing so lots of wet towels). Some sockets didn't work. Very crowded pool and pool area but likely due to an on-site event so may not be the norm.

Wij hadden de 2 kamer suite. Deze is ruim en comfortabel en heeft 2 badkamers, een keuken en kitchenette. De douche is goed heet en krachtig. Het is schoon en het matras is niet te hard.

De oproep tot gebed om 05.00 is al in meerdere reviews genoemd, maar wij vonden m wel heftig. Het was alsof ze met een megafoon naast ons bed stonden. En rond 05.30 opnieuw na afloop gebed. Nu moesten wij er om 05.30 uit, dus geen probleem voor ons, maar als je wilt uitslapen gaat dat dus niet lukken. Verder hadden wij de suite geboekt voor 5 personen. Nummer 5 slaapt op het sofabed. Een dag tevoren heb ik nog gemaild of er toch wel beddengoed en een kussen zou zijn voor het sofabed. Jahoor, dat zou er zijn. Helaas, helaas, toch niet. Naar de receptie gegaan, en een kwartier later werd het alsnog gebracht. Geen kussen, dat kon echt niet geleverd worden, en alleen lakens. Dat is toch wat fris met de airco aan. Handdoek voor nummer 5 was ook niet standaard, maar hebben we na vragen wel gekregen.

Tiene una lavandería 24 h abajo, de echar monedas. Y una tienda de comida 24 horas.

Falta limpieza. El baño muy trillado y pequeño. La ducha sin mampara, por lo que se salía el agua. Una toalla estaba sucia. Mucho ruido por pasillos y zonas comunes.

weird wet toilet smell throughout our stay. water pipe in the corridor burst so there was water spillage. location is not the most central. aircon was not easy to control.

There are shop just beside the hotel and easy to buy foods or snacking. The swimming pool is aesthetic and ambience are wonderful. Clean room and nice hotel. Will recommend it to my friends and others.

Great stay! The pool was clean, relaxing, and a highlight of our visit. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.

We were given a room on the top floor by a helpful, smiling receptionist. The room was excellent with a beautiful view, and we had everything we needed. Nothing to complain about. The pool was very nice, though it fell into the shade quite early—great for the kids, but a bit of a shame if you want to sunbathe. There were decent restaurants right around the corner from the hotel. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the city center of KK from the hotel.

The staff at the reception could have been a bit more smiling and welcoming (except for one pleasant gentleman). I believe the hotel is located near a mosque; it was very loud and woke us up every morning at 5 a.m. If it weren't for this, we would have given a top score.

Very nice modern apartment with big comfortable beds. Good facilities (swimming pool) and nice to have a laundromat downstairs.

Location was ok in that there were some small shops around, but the large major roads meant that walking to the nearby shopping mall and markets was not that easy and we ended up using grab taxis most of the time.

The room is beautifully designed and I had the pool view.

Internet speed was slow, marketed as high speed but I only had 4.5mb/s. Couldn’t even do a proper virtual meeting.

The room was very spacious, clean, and quiet, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay. I liked that it had a sofa bed, which offered extra space and convenience. It was well-equipped with a smart TV, mini kitchen, microwave, kettle, mini fridge, and basic utensils, which made it very convenient. The balcony was a lovely feature, furnished with a sofa and table, and offered a beautiful pool view. I also enjoyed the pleasant environment around the property. The location was good, with a laundry facility nearby, making it ideal for both short and longer stays.

The bed was a little too hard and not very comfortable. The air-conditioning unit was positioned directly facing the bed and sofa, which made it uncomfortable at times. The bathroom did not have a separate shower area, so the entire floor became wet after showering and could be quite slippery. I was also a little disappointed that the sliding door to the balcony could not be locked and the air-conditioning remote had a low battery. However, both issues were resolved promptly by the staff. It would also be helpful to have a phone in the room to contact the receptionist directly.

Semua bersih, air deras, water heater baru, ac sejuk, wifi laju, restoran makan keliling hotel, kedai runcit merata,. hati senang, semua bahagia.

Jalan menuju ke kolam renang tidak begitu detail, tetapi mudah untuk diingati arahan ringkas dari staff bertugas. Kolam kecil sebenarnya. Tidak semua tempat boleh di renangi..ada notis arahan di larang berenang di tempat yang dilarang.

Value for money

It is a bit away from the centre so it is not a busy area. The pillows are very comfortable. There is a mini kitchen in the room complete with electrical stove, microwave, sink and other kitchen appliances.

The room lacks adequate hanging space or hooks for guest clothing and wet towels. The room's weak Wi-Fi signal caused the television to buffer and freeze repeatedly.

What we like most about the The Sigar Hotel at Sutera Bay is its strategic location near Kota Kinabalu city centre, secure parking facilities, and the abundance of attractions, restaurants, cafés, and shopping areas within walking distance. It is a convenient, comfortable, and accessible place to stay while exploring Kota Kinabalu.

The only downside during our stay was the strong sewerage smell from the bathroom. We had to use our own room freshener to manage the odour. While this may be due to the hotel's proximity to the river, resolving this issue would significantly improve guest comfort.

Almost everything are great.

The pillows are quite hard and uncomfortable. And they took quite some time (after calling them twice) to deliver the extra bath towels to our room due to not enough bath towels provided.

Rooms are spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful.

The bed is not comfy. The mattress and pillow are too hard. I complained to the receptionist, and they tried their best to make sure the bed was comfy for me, although it was still hard.

The layout of the unit provides good privacy when traveling with friends while staying in the same unit.

For travelers with a car, it can be quite difficult because parking is very hard to find, and unloading luggage is also inconvenient as parking in front of the building is not allowed. Sometimes it may take up to an hour just waiting for a parking spot.
