Royal Cliff Beach Hotel Pattaya

My stay at Royal Cliff Beach Hotel was very disappointing, mainly due to a major issue with the amenities. Throughout my entire stay, there was no hot water in the room. Instead of offering a proper solution or simply moving me to a different room, management repeatedly sent maintenance workers to try to fix it, which waste my time over and over again with no results. It is frustrating that changing my room wasn't even considered. I expected a much higher standard of service and basic comfort.

Staff at pool bar tried two serve us cocktails with absolutely no alcohol in them at 320thb until questioned about this. Tennis courts down as hotel facilities which we had used daily as my sone brought tennis rackets with him. On day 3 we were approached by some lady saying we needed to pay 750 the per hour for using the courts. several courts empty and this idiot girl trying to make us pay 750thb/hr - disgraceful. Rooms old, beds hard, pillows like sand bags. poor value for money

Very friendly and attentive staff, a large and beautiful property with all the necessary amenities. The room had a wonderful sea view

Unfortunately, there was some rubbish in the sea that was occasionally washed up onto the beach. However, this seems to be more of a general issue in the city rather than something specific to the hotel

Location of hotel, food was excellent, diverse restaurants on location, 24/7 room service, aesthetic of hotel was pleasing to the eye, staff service was always above and beyond, beautiful beaches.

Only thing I disliked was that my room always felt damp and smelled like mold. Regardless of how often I tried to adjust the room temp to dry out the air in the room, the room always felt humid. The sheets felt damp, the smell was moldy and little sewage flies appeared in the bathroom everyday. The stay was manageable, however, I wouldn’t want to pay full price for a room in that kind of condition.

Je suis arrivé seul dans un lieu réputé pour les rencontres éphémères. Le premier après midi une personne extérieure est venue pour me faire un massage traditionnel ce qui n'a pas plus à la direction de l'hotel car je ne faisait pas appel aux services au prix exorbitant de l'hotel et là ils ont voulu m'imposer une surcharge de 1000 Bath pour recevoir une personne extérieure !!!! Le soir même, je suis revenue avec une personne rencontrée en boite de nuit et là ça a été pire, non seulement ils ont encore voulu me faire payer 1000 bath de plus, mais ils ont été horrible avec la personne qui m'accompagnait, demande de pièce d'identité que je comprends tout à fait, suivit par contre d'un interrogatoire pour elle comme pour moi digne de la GESTAPO !!!! Le lendemain ces escrocs ont également refusé que la personne qui m'accompagnait puisse prendre le petit déjeuner que j'avais pourtant bien payer. En conséquence j'ai quitter l'hotel 3 jour plus tôt que prévu, mes ces escrocs ont refusé de me rembourser. C'est une honte pour la profession de l'hôtellerie que je représente également, jamais je n'ai vu un tas de merde pareil s'immiscer dans la vie privée des gens, demander des extra charge et refuser que l'on puisse prendre un petit déjeuner déjà payer et surtout refuser de me rembourser alors que visiblement mon profil ne leur plaisait pas. Si votre puritanisme vous interdit d'accueillir des personnes qui sont en droit de venir avec une maitresse, premièrement informé les guests de cela à leur arrivé et deuxièmement ne vous installez pas à PATAYA !!! Maintenant bande d'escroc, merci de me contacter pour me rembourser ce que vous m'avez volé Je tiens à préciser que la personne venant pour me masser avait avec elle ses produit de massage, elle a elle aussi subi un interrogatoire digne de la Waffen-SS et était agée d'environ 40ans.

The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything. We enjoyed the swimming pools, decks and walking on the beautiful beach. The facilities were immaculate! The view from our room and the balcony chez lounge were beautiful.

Beautiful location and views. Obviously the pool is the main attraction. Huge breakfast selection could deffinately stay here longer.

Room cards had to be reset a number of times then the door lock ran out of battery and had to be opened by staff with the key.

Since many years we enjoy dining at Panorama restaurant during our Pattaya holidays and it never disappoints. The food is consistently good and the service impeccable. There is always a warm welcome from all team members whenever we walk in. Wonderful Thai hospitality. The menu provides good variety and the food is delicious. Highly recommended.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war einfach fantastisch und von der ersten bis zur letzten Sekunde ein absoluter Traum. Schon beim Betreten der Hotelanlage stockt einem der Atem: Die wunderschöne Empfangshalle und das gesamte Gebäude sind in einem atemberaubenden, traditionellen Thai-Stil gestaltet. Alles wirkt unendlich gross und majestätisch, aber gleichzeitig strahlt die Architektur eine solche Wärme aus, dass man sich sofort wie zu Hause fühlt. Der Empfang war aussergewöhnlich herzlich und perfekt organisiert. Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach unschlagbar. Es gibt absolut keinen Strassenlärm – das Einzige, was man hört, ist der beruhigende Wellengang des Meeres. Ein absolutes Highlight ist die Aussicht: Von wirklich jedem Zimmer aus geniesst man einen freien, unschlagbaren Blick direkt auf das Meer. Abgerundet wird dieses perfekte Erlebnis durch das grossartige Personal. Alle Mitarbeitenden sind unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und begegnen den Gästen mit einer echten, tiefen Herzlichkeit. Wer ein wunderschönes Ambiente, absolute Ruhe und perfekten Service sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Ich musste wirklich sehr lange nachdenken, um überhaupt eine Kleinigkeit zu finden! 😉 Als kleiner Tipp für das ansonsten hervorragende Frühstücksbuffet: Es wäre toll, wenn bei der Marmelade und dem Honig ganz kleine Tellerchen oder Schälchen bereitstehen würden. So muss man sich nicht den ganzen grossen Frühstücksteller verschmieren. 😉

I hadn’t been here for quite a while, and I’m happy to see that the hotel has improved significantly. The front desk staff were excellent—friendly, welcoming, and professional. The hotel has a swimming pool for children, and the newly renovated Kids Club is clean, well-maintained, and has measures in place to limit overcrowding, making it a safe and enjoyable space for families. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely love to come back many more times.

One suggestion for improvement would be to increase the lighting around the property at night, as it feels a bit dim. Also, having more restaurants in the same building would be more convenient, as most dining options are located in another building.

It is a huge hotel complex with many pools and sports facilities. Location is quite a walk from anywhere so you need to take taxis if you want to go out. The place was quite empty but the pools are nice and breakfast is good. Other food and drink on site were disappointing. I would stay somewhere nearer to Jomtien or Central but if you want to stay in a resort all day this could be OK.

This is a large and older hotel on the outskirts of town, but has been very well maintained. In house restaurants are uniformly excellent. Breakfast; well stocked and delicious. Of particular note are the faultless staff, many have given years of service. Of particular note are Bell Staff Thanapat and Traikhun who helped with many small requests; nothing was too much trouble and we are already planning another stay!

We are just back from yet another wonderful stay at The Royal Cliff. We have been regular visitors for about 25 years and hopefully we have many more visits ahead. The hotel is fantastic and is made by the wonderful staff that they employ, without them our holiday would not be so memorable From Chaiyanan the Deputy Resident Manager to "sunshine" in the restaurant every employee is a great credit to the hotel. Brunch was awesome, great staff!

Many areas of the property were closed because it was the low season, which made it difficult to move around. We thought they were giving us a larger room for 3 people and instead added another bed to a regular room, so it was very cramped.

We got great discount, otherwise it would have been pricy. Great staff, great view. Very clean rooms.

If you want quiet stay its great. Otherwise its a bit far away from everything.

This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. The beach views were stunning and I just loved the food at the restaurant, they had unlimited everything. Could not have been more impressed. Had a giant bathtub and a shower, didn’t see a single bug. AC was wonderful. Staff was very kind and helpful as well.

The Place was amazing, the staff was very nice and hospitable. The room was clean and modern and the atmosphere was great, And also The food was great too.

Pool, good however did not use. Room, good but shower in the bath not good for me, 81 years old. A walk in shower.

A walk in shower in the bathroom is more suitable for me. The sea view was about 50%, obscured by pillars nest to the room. The breakfast was average.

Great location, and views. Rooms well appointed clean and comfortable. Super infinity pool and swim up bar. Well trained attentive staff. I was looked after very well by Thanya, Somrak and Minnie and sm looking forward to coming back in the future.

This resort has excellent facilities: a large private grounds for walking, a wide range of pools, restaurants, seating areas, and easy access to the beach and local shops and cafes. For my birthday, I had a cake delivered to our room for free! We stayed in the Ocean View suite. The room was large, had an excellent view, and was very clean. We stayed there for the second time in two years. This is definitely the best hotel in Pattaya!

I would appreciate having a foot bath or tap water to wash feet from the sand after walking on the beach at the Breezee restaurant

Having stayed at Royal Cliff Grand hotel before it felt like a déjà vu in hospitality, luxury and personalised care when I visited this property in late May 2026. From check in to check out the quality of service is extremely satisfactory. The food at the restaurants are extraordinary. Special mention for breezeo the sea food restaurant on the beach accessible by an elevator with an out of the world sea view. For tourists looking forward to a peaceful and quiet family beach vacation in Pattaya this property is definitely the place to check out. PS: The sea view is amazing so advisable to go for sea view rooms for the best experience

I am attending a conference at the PEACH and had a tremendous stay at the Royal Cliff Grand Hotel despite the peak conference period. The room was clean with a nice balcony overlooking the sea. It was so therapeutic listening to the waves. There is no lack of great restaurants to host my clients. The concierge service was terrific! They offered help and support even for very last-minute requests. I was very impressed with the staff, especially the concierge captain and the bellboys.

Что мне понравилось больше всего — это очень высокое качество уборки. Номер убирали действительно очень тщательно каждый день, и придраться было абсолютно не к чему. Персонал был невероятно приветливым и дружелюбным — все без исключения: охрана, bellboy, room service, сотрудники стойки регистрации и вообще весь персонал отеля. Такой уровень приветливости действительно впечатляет. Также отдельно хочется отметить ресторан Breeze — очень высокое качество еды при действительно доступных ценах. Такое сочетание встречается довольно редко, особенно по сравнению с другими отелями аналогичного уровня. Очень понравился пляж, красивые бассейны и в целом вся атмосфера отеля.

General cleanliness of the room and good breakfast buffet with plenty of options and quite polite and attentive staff. Though that is a pretty standard thing to expect.

The reception staff was neither very well informed about hotel facilities and their locations nor they could recommend any places within the town. Some venues, especially those with live music, were closed. Sauna was paid extra and the facilities there were of disappointing quality. Everything was generally acceptable but did not exceed the bare minimum for a five star hotel.
