Reviewed Aug 24, 2026We finish our stay in Zurich in this hotel and it was the best choice possible to relax. Amazing room, very spacious with an incredible view. All the facilities were comfortable and very well decorated. The gym is really big and complete. The restaurants are very good, even though a bit overpriced, specially for drinking. The breakfast is outstanding with many options and very good food, very different from other hotels in Zurich.
In the restaurant I ordered for a dish that they didn’t have it anymore. They took some time to let me know and when I ordered for another thing it came wrong. Very sad for an expensive and well rated restaurant. Also, children are not allowed in the swimming pool and my husband and I couldn’t enjoy the pool because of our 6 month son. The swimming pool allowed for children is very far and outside of the property. The hotel’s location is not good, very far from everything. If the idea is to enjoy the hotel and relaxing it is a good choice, otherwise you will take a lot of time and logistics to explore Zurich.

Restaurant Saltz: Am Morgen freundliche Mitarbeiter. Abends eine einzige Katastrophe! Unfreundlich und belehrend. Das Brot haben wir nach 1 Std. Wartezeit erhalten. Die Weinflasche wurde nicht gezeigt. Und beim Bezahlen zeigte sich die Dame überrascht, dass wir Hotelgäste waren. Schade für die hervorragende Küche!! Solch schlechten Service haben wir in den vielen besuchten 5* Hotels noch nie erlebt. Und ein späteres Check out um 13.00 Uhr war auch nicht möglich. Im Flur haben wir um die Mittagszeit aber kein einziges Zimmermädchen gesehen. .

Die Möglichkeit ein Zweibettzimmer zu buchen fehlt Geärgert hat mich, dass auf die Rechnung eine Klimaschutzspende gebucht wird, die man dann aktiv runternehmen lassen muss. Das Vorgehen finde ich eines solchen Hauses unwürdig.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Die Lage ist am Zürichberg und man hat eine tolle Aussicht auf Zürich und den See. Sehr ruhig, sehr tolles Frühstück, liebevoll gemacht auf der herrlichen Terrasse.
Nachtessen war der Service nicht so toll, obwohl das Personal freundlich ist. Die Portionen sind doch sehr klein für den Preis..... nicht so grosszügig!

Decidimos ir a Zurique de última hora e reservamos o hotel pelo Booking.com também de última hora. Ficamos absolutamente impressionados!!! Tudo no hotel é maravilhoso!!!! Perfeito!!! O spa é incrível, a academia é incrível, a localização é maravilhosa! O serviço de TODOS é impecável, perfeito! As obras de arte por todo o hotel são sempre uma agradável surpresa! O hotel tem uma floresta com uma trilha tranquila, uma ótima maneira de começar o dia. Cada detalhe deste hotel é perfeito! Se você quiser explorar o centro da cidade, o hotel tem uma van que leva os hóspedes de e para o centro a cada hora. Parabéns, Dolder. Você não é 5 estrelas, você é 1.000 estrelas!!! Estaremos lá novamente no próximo ano!

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026Das Frühstück war das Beste, welches ich jemals in einem Hotel gesehen und gegessen habe. Durch das Herrichten der Gerichte in kleinen Gefässen wird auch noch food waste vermieden. Bravo!

It is a little far away from the city centre. The price for breakfast is exorbitant but very nice.

da fällt mir gerade nix ein - allerdings war der Aufenthalt sehr kostenintensiv
