Russell Square Serviced Apartments by Concept Apartments

A rather spartan studio apartment of reasonable size and comfortable bed. In a great location 10 minutes walk from Kings Cross Station and 5 minutes from Russell Square underground.

Studio was on the 4th floor (70 steps) and there is no elevator. Getting bags up there was hard work. We were not previously warned of the difficult access. The shower produced little more than a dribble.

Great location. So many great cafes and restaurants. Close to the underground station. Staff were very helpful and responsive.

Lack of coat hangers. There was a dirty towel in the drawers. Light sleepers may struggle with the street noise.

Good location for our plans in London. Kitchenette especially fridge and coffee machine were an advantage

Excessive stairs are a real detriment to this accommodation. I don’t remember that being mentioned in the description of the property. As two seniors who had very active days out, encountering many stairs around central London, these stairs every time we returned to apartment were huge challenge. Alas, we didn’t request to have an apartment on a lower floor but there were still a lot of steep stairs even then. Also the video of the apartment we were sent must have been done on another apartment from ours. And the photos were of a better one or were photoshopped as we didn’t find it to be as attractive as was advertised.

LEED. IMPORTANTE Apenas hay presión de agua y agua caliente. Es casi imposible ducharse. Notificamos y dimos parte de la situación el primer día. No han hecho NADA para solucionarlo. Únicamente vino una mujer a verlo, grabó un vídeo y se fue. Nos dijeron que era normal cuando se duchan otros clientes del bloque pero es falso. Daba igual si intentabas ducharte por la mañana, por la tarde o por la noche. No pude ni lavarme el pelo de la poca agua que salía de la ducha. Es inadmisible que por el precio que pagas no te ofrezcan un servicio básico: ducharse. El agua caliente se corta y sale a ratos con un hilo de agua. Planta cuarta sin ascensor, si llevas maleta grande es pesado porque cada planta son dos tramos de escaleras. Las ventanas no cierran bien, la redonda de la cama. El wifi no funciona.

Odanın oldukça temiz ve kompakt bir yapısı vardı. Merkezi bir konumda, temiz olması ve sessiz bir yerde olması avantajımızaydı. İhtiyacımız olan her şey (ütü, kahve, tabak, bardak vs. vardı)

Yatak çok ses çıkartıyordu ve yatak küçük, yorgan büyüktü. Ayrıca duvarlar çok inceydi, yan odada ki çekilen sifon sesi odanın içinde yankılanıyor ve odaya birisi giriyor gibi hissediyorduk. Banyoda su ısısını ayarlamak biraz zordu. Ayrıca asansör olmaması büyük eksiklik fakat yapacak bir şey yoktu. Ne çok dar ne çok geniş bir odaydı. İşimizi gördü. Camların tam açılmaması beni üzdü fakat işimizi gördü. Fiyat-performans oteli.

El alojamiento fue muy cómodo, estaba limpio y excepcionalmente ubicado. El calor lo solucionamos abriendo las ventanas y no se escucha especialmente el ruido de la calle. Dentro dispusimos de casi todo lo que llegamos a necesitar.

La presión del agua de la ducha no existía… esto fue desastroso. Que nadie espere ascensores (esto no es una queja solo informativo) o WIFI (esto sí que es un problema pues no teníamos roaming tras el Brexit)

Instructions claires avant l’arrivée permettant une grande autonomie. Le logement est correct et lumineux. Possible de dormir les fenêtres ouvertes sans avoir trop de bruit en été car côté opposé de la route

L'emplacement proche de russel square pour le métro et du bus... Quelques magasins d'alimentation proches... et petits restos rapides... La propreté et le comfort...

Excellent communication with details. Easy check in. Earlier check in allowed after calling on day. Easy access, great space and facilities, toileteries provided, super clean, comfy bed and good linens. Bonus proximity to underground, shops and cafes.

Cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The toilet set and the cover was broken. No way the property didn’t know that. The cleaner said she has already informed earlier about it. So what were they waiting for? Have to say though that once we complained the repair was done with new replacements. The shower holder was broken and they promised to replace that for the next visitors. The toilet seat in the beginning had poo stain. The cleaner just cleaned with a cloth spreading it all over untill we asked to use cleaning liquid. Eww. Overall nice property but really need someone with good hygiene sense to take care of the property. The room was in 2 nd floor so with no lift it was a ordeal but okay we knew that.

No aircon. Provided tea/coffee facilities but no milk sachets or substitutes. Water pressure in shower low but typical of building and level.

Good value for money and comfortable flat.

Bathroom was a bit tight and minimalist. With no air conditioning having to open windows to a very noisy street with bars and restaurants didn’t lead to good sleep.

Very accessible, extremely clean and neat - had all you would need and I could open the window to get some fresh air which was a bonus in a hot day.

Great location, very clean apartments with everything that is necessary. We did not experience issues with noise (just the normal street-level background sounds but we did not find it disruptive) or water pressure. Staff were very responsive and pleasant. 10/10

La habitación es muy grande y el estilo, moderno. La cama muy cómoda y la almohada alta y dura, lo cual es raro en un alojamiento. Está muy bien situado y el barrio está muy bien. Además, me sorprendió la cantidad de café y té que te proporcionan y lo mucho que te escriben para darte toda la información necesaria.

El baño era pequeño y algunas partes no estaban muy arregladas. De hecho, se colaban hormigas por una grieta en la pared de la junta de la ducha. Algo caro, pero viendo las calidades de los hoteles de Londres, está muy bien y ofrece mucho.

Great location, walking distance to St Pancras and Euston. The room was comfortable and very clean. Exactly what we wanted.

Rooms not very soundproof. Every time someone flushed the toilet I heard the pipes in my room!

Clear and prompt communication. Easy to follow instructions to access entry. The property is in a great location 5 minute walk from Russell Square Station which is on the Piccadilly line direct from Heathrow. The street has restaurants, cafes, grocers. Easy to access alot of London's attractions. The room is spacious. We didnt cook but had basic kitchen. We were on 1st level which meant our shower pressure was ok but we did get all the street noise.

We really liked the room so sad not to rate it higher but the noise means I would not stay again. We got use to the rumbling from the trains but the various groups outside on the street playing music or fighting through to a wedding party from the pub up the road meant we lost a lot of sleep. After 2am usually quieter but from 5am the trucks start unloading. So that was the downside of city living.

Great location - very central. Easy access for check in/check out. Perfectly fine for a stop over.

It was very clean but a things were looking a little worn (scuffed pain on walls, marks on kitchen tops, old windows etc). Also quite noisy - not from outside but from other apartments - could easily hear what was going on in neighbouring apartments.

The apartment was close to the subway and located in the peaceful place with restaurants and cafés.

Everything was great. We got clear instructions on getting into the apartment and when we got in we were very pleasantly surprised by how large the space was, and how light and airy. It has everything you could need in the kitchen area, as well as nice fluffy towels, a comfy bed, and a lovely leafy view from the sash windows. We also had a fan which was very helpful in the London heatwave! The location is fantastic - near Russell Square and Euston tube stations - and there are wonderful restaurants and bars nearby - definitely try Fig & Walnut across the road.

There really wasn't much not to like. It was one of the best places we've stayed! I guess bigger towels would be nice but really I'm just searching for something to say at this point!

The location is very good

It was not advised that flats are at the top of 7 flights of stairs. Im very fit but climbing those stairs I was sweating and out of breath. an older couple or someone with large luggage would struggle even more. This should be stated and advised prior to booking

No me permitieron llegar 1 hora antes del checkin, pero habian sabanas y confort en el pasillo. Por otro lado, empezaron con ruidos molestos de aspiradora al otro dia antes de las 9 hrs. Escalera incomoda para subir por el pasillo, no vale lo que cuesta

Ubicación en un barrio animado pero tranquilo, Blomsbury es realmente encantador. Puedes llegar andando a la zona centro. Apartamento bastante cómodo con todo lo necesario para unos días. Muy cerca de King's Cross y Euston si quieres ir a visitar los estudios de Harry Potter

Most properties have WiFi nowadays, that was disappointing but we did know that it was not provided.

La posizione è ottima, centrale ma in una zona tranquilla, sotto casa si trovano locali e negozi di ogni tipo. Il letto un po' piccolo, ma credo sia lo standard inglese. L' appartamento è pulito, luminoso, di dimensioni generose e ha una piccola cucina comoda per effettuare dei pasti in casa. La doccia molto grande e il bagno funzionale.

Il getto d'acqua della doccia molto debole. Assenza di un mobile in bagno per poter poggiare il necessario stante le minuscole dimensioni del lavandino.

Excellent size for a couple, and excellent location: easy access to Kings X / St Pancras and Russell Sq Tube station. Room was clean and more than enough space, and small kitchen area gives you the opportunity not to have to eat out.

Our appartment was up 3 flights of fairly narrow stairs so be aware of that if you have large suitcases and/or mobility issues! Sound insulation wasn't that great so the noise on the last of the 3 nights, either somewhere in the building or next door, made it hard to sleep.

De straal van de douche was ondermaats. Niet mogelijk om je goed te kunnen douchen of haar wassen om wille van te weinig druk op het water en een slecht werkende douchekop.

Le lieu et la propreté ++ Chambre très confortable, très propre et bien équipée. Localisation très agréable et accessible. Dans l’ensemble nous avons vraiment apprécié et nous reviendrons :)

Difficile de dormir correctement avec le bruit dans la rue qu’on entend très fort et les fenêtres pas très isolantes (bruit nocturne + froid mais bien chauffé ce qui compense). Attention nous n’avons pas apprécié que la dame de ménage soit devant notre porte, à attendre de rentrer nettoyer lors du Check out une bonne demi heure avant l’heure donnée… et peut être était elle même présente avant car nous étions sorties… sensation de devoir être mises à la porte BIEN AVANT l’heure du départ.

I liked everything! Location, quality, value for money, cleanliness, facilities - all excellent, thank you and I’ll book here again when I’m next in the area! Good and varied eateries on the doorstep, neighbourhood lively, vibrant, clean and I felt great being there on my own.

The room I was in was huge, and furniture could have been slightly rearranged to accommodate a comfortable chair with low table or even compact sofa, too. That would have added another level of comfort if staying more than one night and spending more time in the apartment.

Nette studio in een leuke wijk. Alles is in de ruimte aanwezig: een kleine kitchenette, bed, tadel, twee stoelen en een badkamer. Het is schoon en netjes, maar niet super sfeervol, eerder functioneel. Wij waren lange dagen op pad, dus dat maakte niet uit.

Je hoort het goed als de buren boven de wc doortrekken, verder is het niet gehorig.

Apartamento muy amplio, nuevo tal cuál las fotos, cama muy cómoda, muy limpio, zona céntrica a 10 minutos de Covent Garden y a 30 min andando de Picadilly. Zona con restaurantes y supermercados a 5 min del metro. Tiene todo lo necesario para pasar dias estupendos. Nos permitieron entrar dos horas antes del check in.

Quizás el baño es un poco pequeño y la ducha sale con poca presión

Very clean, spacious room, all necessary ameneties, we could even cook for breakfast. Comfortable bed. Great location in very nice neighbourhood. All instructions for accessing the apartment were very precise and sent on time.

Very nice, clean, warm room (in February), coffee, tea, fridge, water was always hot, we didn't experience any trouble with the water flow.

The cleaning lady was cleaning the next room, and was very loud talking to the phone all the time and banging the door for at least 20 times while we were trying to stay asleep. 4 stories of stairs are a bit too much after a long day of walking in the city. The bathroom radiator was off, the host told us we can turn it on, but the valve just wouldn't move, no matter the force. Cleaning is provided every 8 days, which we didn't know until we received the instruction letter the day before we arrived. It's a beautiful attic, but one of the walls is very low, and dangerous when you get out of bed at night. There could be some kind of cushion on it, in case you bang your head.

It was incredibly noisy. No sound insulation in the ceilings so could hear everything from upstairs.

Chambre au calme, très lumineuse, avec en plus une très belle vue sur les toits du quartier. Dans la rue au pied de l'immeuble, il y a un bon choix de restaurants, et quelques commerces. La station de métro Russel Square et la gare de Saint Pancras International sont à proximité immédiate !! Nous avons apprécié la réactivité des gérants de l'appartement qui répondent très rapidement à toutes les questions pratiques.

Unable to turn off bathroom radiator. No toaster. Sticky substance on floor. Multiple brown bags at lower floor steps which could be construed as an emergency exit blockage, allowing a gap of only 30 cm free for access, unlikely to meet legal requirements.
