Bedroom was good and clean. We had meal in the pub which was very good.

On the ground floor before we went up the stairs to our room, were stored tables and chairs. This would put anyone off coming here. It would be no good for someone who is disabled, unless there was a lift somewhere.

Hôtel atypique avec un bar-restaurant comme entrée et check-in et oû le personnel du bar vous conduit aussi aux chambres. Accueil très chaleureux. Restaurant simple et très sympa. Groupe de musique le soir en week-end.

Locatie. Callander is a Nice little town, close to the national park and 1 hour to Glasgow. We used it as a last stop before going to the Edinburgh airport.

For a one night stay this was perfect. Location on the hight street meant easy access to the town and bus routes. Staff were welcoming and the room was clean and well furnished. Bed was comfy too!

Nice clean comfortable room but rather small.Staff nice and the continemtal breakfast was really good. Close proximity to local shops and restaurants. Great location for nice walks if only the weather behaved.

No room for a chair or desk in the room. Mktion sensor corridor lights did not activate when leaving room in middle of corridor. When coming back to room the went on when entering corridor but went off before i could get my kry in the lock. Had to run back to get them on as it was quite dark.

Levendige omgeving/hotel en zeer vriendelijk personeel! En ondanks dat er geen mogelijkheid was tot ontbijt bij te boeken was het een fijne verassing om te zien dat er wel een licht ontbijt/zelfservice mogelijk was.

Parkeerplaats is een stukje lopen en kost een paar pond, is wel goed bereikbaar en groot maar openbaar en niet op privé terrein.

Staff were nice, checking in was no problem, room was clean.

The room was right over the bar which had a live band playing til midnight. The volume was unbelievably loud. This really should be made clear at the point of booking, and it should be reflected in the price. Telling us when we arrive and providing cheap foam earplugs is simply not good enough.

Very helpful staff, even prior to the visit, answering questions swiftly and accommodating our requests. The hotel is central to callander.

The bed was quite squeaky

Was a nice quiet hotel in a country pub setting. The check-in staff and the bar staff and the restaurant staff were very nice, very helpful, the breakfast was good.

Hübsches Zimmer, wenn auch eher klein

Im Pub war sehr viel Betrieb - auch mit den bereitgelegten Gehörschutz hörbar. Allerdings war es ab Mitternacht dann ganz ruhig.

Von allen schlechten Hotels, in den ich während meiner Wanderung übernachtete, war dies mit Abstand das schlimmste. Das hier angebotene Zimmer war ca 6 qm groß, d.h. die Türe ließ sich nicht öffnen, weil das Bett ca 20 cm dahinter stand. DIe Zimmergröße , Die bei Booking.com angegeben ist, ist schlichtweg falsch bzw. gelogen. Im Zimmer ist maximal die Drehung um die eigene Achse möglich. Mehr Platz ist nicht vorhanden. Ähnlich eng und klein sind bad und Toilette. Hier wird besucht mit der letzten Besenkammer geld zu verdienen. Es grenzt schon an Betrug ein Zimmer, solcher Größe hier anzubieten, zum Preis von 100 Euro. Zwischen Bett und Fenster sind circa 5 cm Platz. Heizung ist noch dazwischen. Ein gesunder Schlaf vorprogrammiert. Eine Umbuchung war nicht möglich, weil angeblich alles ausgebucht sei In diesem Kaff mit Nichts , bei w Grad Celsius und Regen. Geld konnte , bzw. Wollte man mir nicht zurückerstattet, obwohl ich max 5 Minuten im Zimmer war. Länger hält man es nicht aus, fühlt sich an wie in einer Taucherglocke. Nicht kulant. In der Bar stehen ab 15 Uhr die Besoffenen, wie überall on diesem Land. 3 Sterne ist dort nichts. Die Sterne hat man sich entweder selbst verliehen oder irgendwo gekauft. Der Tätowierte Typ, der verantwortlich war ist recht unsympathisch. Alles in Salem absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Nicht ohne Grund sind zu dem Zimmer keine Bilder angegeben. Finger weg und lieber in Spanien Urlaub machen

The staff were amazing, from the bar staff checking me on to the super friendly and helpful cleaners in the morning. Room was very comfy, lovely hot shower and a nice touch with the Tunnocks Caramels.

Staff were friendly & very efficient. We had our dinner there , it was delicious. As it was a Saturday night there was live music. There is a help yourself continental breakfast which suited us perfectly. Room was clean & very comfortable. Would highly recommend, it was our third time staying & we will be back again.

Room was small but perfectly adequate for a short stay, powerfull shower. Staff were polite and very helpful especially when there was a mix up with the room booking. Would definitely return with family for a short stay.
