Quando vado a Londra vado lì. È un 2 stelle ma per i costi di Londra è assolutamente concorrenziale rispetto ad altri della stessa fascia. Mi trovo sempre molto bene.

Great location to Paddington. As re: breakfast, Coffee was very good. Service was very quick. Eggs (two!) Were cooked well but the bacon was undercooked

Bathroom had a very strong smell of urine. It looked clean enough but using the facility was limited by the length of time we could hold our breath. Also...be aware....there is no elevator in Balmoral House (not unusual in these converted Victorian townhouses) and if, as we were, you are assigned a room on the upper floors) you are going to struggle getting your luggage to your room.

The location

Left luggage was just left in the main reception area and was not labelled. Our accomodation was in a separate building across the road. Outside our accomodation were two large overflowing bins . The room we stayed in was very basic; Two single beds, a small wardrobe and a chair. The washbasin with mirror was in the bedroom, so nowhere to wash your hands in the showeroom. Facilities were basic . No headboard on beds so pillows fell off the bed during the night. No bedside lights so had to turn off main light and walk back to bed in the dark. No fan in the showeroom.

Did not stay . It was nothing like the description and even though they had vacant rooms on ground level ( I know because they offered them after the complaint ) they sent us up 4 floors , with many flights of stairs with no help whatsoever. Couldn’t get out quick enough !

Lovely small hotel close to Paddington station and Hyde Park. Receptionist and kitchen staff were kind, there was no gluten-free bread the first morning, but they bought it by second day.

1. Check-in and breakfast was across the street!Who wants to get up and cross the road for breakfast within a small window of an hour and a half? That came as a shock to me as they didn’t mention it in any their pre-arrival information and it was raining.!

The location and staff were outstanding.

Traffic noise was constant all night. Maybe thicker double glazing. The breakfast time (7-8:30am) was far too limiting for us to enjoy. Would recommend extending to 9:30am

Enge Zimmeraufteilung, kaum Platz, um die Koffer zu öffnen. Teppichboden überall, was Hygiene erschwert. Keine richtigen Bettbezüge, sondern nur Laken zwischen Decke und Matratze Wirklich billiges und liebloses Frühstück Der Geruch nach dem billigen Frühstück im Hotelzimmer

Dat er geen veilige stalling voor de fiets was. Buiten aan de weg aan het hek vast leggen . In London niet zo prettig, ook geen beveiligde stalling in de omgeving .

i asked for a room that had double bed, but When we got to the hotel, the man who was on the front desk was not very nice, and put us on the 3rd floor in a room with 2 single beds, this was a problem as my wife is disabled, and found it difficult to get up 4 flights of stairs, i discussed this with the man on the front desk, and all he said was that is the only roon available, and shrugged his shoulders, also we went out for the evening got back around 8.30pm, and when we got to the door we buzzed and the same man who was on reception came to open the door and looked quite upset we buzzed, and then said to us why didnt we use the room key to open the front door, then my wife and i both said you did not tell us this earlier when we got here so how was we supposed to know!! in all it was not a pleasant stay.

J'ai beaucoup aimé le style victorien de l'hôtel, c'était un établissement cosy. L'hôtel est très bien placé entre la station de Paddington et le Hyde Park. Le transport public était donc très accessible.

On devrait prolonger les heures du petit déjeuner. Ainsi, il y aurait aussi plus d'espace pour les clients.

Location

We booked before we looked for other reviews besides booking.com. Big mistake. We tried to cancel. They refused. We stayed, and it was obvious that the issues they had with bed bugs, if resolved, were resolved poorly. There were stains (including blood) on the mattress, box spring, and wall. Even after being told, they refused to check, refund, or do anything to remedy the situation. Really disappointed.

Gute Lage Nähe Paddingten. Viele Lokale in der Umgebung. Zimmer sauber.

Frühstück nur bis 8:30 und da wurden mir die Teller schon abserviert. Keine Auswahl beim Frühstück frisch gebratener Speck und Spiegelei manchmal mit Bohnen oder Würstchen. Wer das mag ist super. Ansonsten nur Toastbrot Butter und Marmelade. Und Cornflaks. Kei Gebäck kein Kuchen. Bad sehr sehr klein.

Lovely location, check out the Paddington basin and floating park. The rooms were clean and staff friendly. We had a fan in our top floor room, much needed. Lovely shower, albeit the bathroom is small.

The breakfast let it down. Our breakfast was included for myself and a child. Only cereal options were cornflakes or cheerios. No yoghurt, or pastries. The cooked option was fried egg, or bacon with mushrooms. I asked for scrambled but told only fried. I am vegetarian so no bacon, please. In the end I had toast. I did not feel this was value for money and thought needs to go into having a bit more selection.

It was too difficult to stay in upstairs room because of this hot weather. One small fan is not enough for a family room.

La habitación estaba en el último piso, cuarto sin ascensor, sin aire acondicionado. Pedimos un posible cambio de habitación pero no había. El desayuno muy justo en un espacio diminuto.

Could not ask for a better location. Upon arriving the receptionist greeted us with a smile. Explained the rules. After climbing what seemed a 1000 steps to our room. Room was pleasant just what we wanted. Bathroom was tiny but just right for us. For some reason a towel was in the basin and was soaking wet.

Great location

Small room and tiny bathroom Breakfast was very basic and The breakfast room was very small. We had to wait to have a table for our family Parking in the street was expensive and costed 30£ for the night, this could be easily accommodated for free for the guests.

La chambre ne correspond pas du tout aux photos que l'on a vu sur booking. Beaucoup trop petit, pas climatisée, salle de bain trop petite. Bref pas content du tout.

Utrolig dejlig beliggenhed midt i et kvarter fyldt med hyggelige spisesteder og andet. Meget centralt ift. busser og metro.

Virkelig ringe morgenmad, som vi ellers tilkøbte ud fra et billede, som på ingen måder afspejler hvad man får - vi valgte slet ikke at komme på andendagen, men købte ude i byen. Huller i lagner og tæpper og stedet føles ikke indbydende selv til prisen. Ikke specielt imødekommende eller smilende personale.

Das langweiligste Frühstück, das ich je hatte. Das Bad war sehr klein, so dass man sich für die Benutzung abwechseln musste. Leider hat es auch keinen Lift. Unseren grossen Koffer in den dritten Stock zu bringen war folglich sehr anstrengend.

Very nice calm hotel, very comfortable and relaxing. Nice big family rooms, and superb breakfast. All staff very friendly and hotel very clean and well maintained.

Conveniently located near Paddington Station around many local facilities (shops, pubs and restaurants). Reception was very inviting and easy check in and out. Decent, but limited breakfast.

Room was adequate as a solo traveller but some areas need some general maintenance but nothing was dirty or distracted from my stay

Die Lage ist sehr praktisch. Durch die gute Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel läßt sich alles einfach erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist für London sehr gut.

Wie in allen Hotels dieser Kategorie sind die Zimmer klein und eng.

Our stay here was a complete nightmare. We requested a double room but were given a twin room with an uncomfortable bed. The room was on the 5th floor (top floor) with NO lift. Hauling luggage up that many steep stairs is a safety hazard, and the hotel should be forced to disclose the floor level upfront. ​The room itself was stiflingly hot. While they gave us a fan, there were only 4 plug sockets in total, meaning we couldn't even charge our phones by the bed. The bathroom was absolutely tiny and didn't even have liquid hand soap, so we had to go to the supermarket to buy our own. To make matters worse, the room was overwhelmingly filled with chemical bleach fumes when we arrived, causing an immediate, severe headache. ​When we tried to cancel immediately upon arrival due to these conditions, the management dug their heels in, refused to cooperate, and demanded a full £130 cancellation fee even after Booking. com support called them directly. Finally, breakfast is served in a completely different building on the other side of the road. Luckily it wasn't raining. Absolutely terrible value and shocking management. Avoid at all costs.

Dejlig beliggenhed tæt på undergrund- og togstation, supermarked og spisesteder. Meget venligt og imødekommende personale. Pænt værelse og hotel. Engelsk stil - hyggeligt.

The location is fantastic. It’s close to Hyde Park and Paddington Station. The staff are friendly and the rooms are adequate.

I’ve never had worse poached eggs in my whole life. The eggs are all cooked in advance, then served cold and so overcooked they are actually hard boiled. I have never experienced a cooked breakfast like that. Some very basic training would help the breakfast staff.

Our room was accesssed via four flights of stairs. No lift. No help to get cases up to room. Eggs and beans for breakfast daily despite booking for cooked breakfast and due to size of dining room (small) we had to share a table with strangers for first morning.
