Fabulous location, great apartment with many welcoming touches and conveniences. Exactly what we were hoping for in a local accommodation. Much better than a larger establishment.

הדירה הייתה במרכז , הליכה של 5 דקות מהכל , החדר נקי , בחדר יש הכל מהכל עד הפרטים הקטנים שנחוצים (מגהץ, משקל לשקילת מזוודות , מקרר , טוסטר ) הכל ברמה הכי טובה שיש , המארחת נחמדה מאוד הסבירה לנו הכל גם קצת על הסביבה וכמובן שנתנה לנו הרגשה של בית !

It was exactly what we needed, a comfortable place to rest and sleep. The location was excellent, we were close to a lot of different places we wanted to visit. I really enjoyed having a coffee maker provided and plenty of dishes to use.

We loved staying in the Amsterdam Canal guest apartment. Our host, Guido was so welcoming and full of knowledge and help to provide an epic stay. The location is perfection. The space was clean and well appointed. We highly recommend!

We loved it all.

The host was so friendly, accommodating, thoughtful, and generous. Even welcoming us with a bottle of wine! It was perfectly situated with walking distance to everything downtown. We felt completely safe and it felt like a home away from home. There were a plethora of tv channels on the tv. We loved the spacious room layout and the excellent quality bed sheets.

The pillow was a bit too hard and compact for me. But I'm also very picky when it comes to pillows. There were some dust and fibers/hairs on the wall in the bathroom. We would have loved to be able to cast to the tv from our phones to watch Netflix. The leftside of the buttons on the tv remote was not working.

The lovely quiet and convenient location

Posizione splendida. Supercentrale, metro a 200 metri, di fronte all'appartamento c'è una panchina con splendida vista sul fiume, le barche che passano. Il proprietario è molto gentile, disponibile ti da tutte le informazioni necessarie. Unica cosa, è tre gradini sotto il piano stradale. Se avete difficoltà di deambulazione dovete tenerne conto. Per il resto io tornerei sicuramente lì.

Struttura situata in una posizione ottima. Guido è stato un host eccellente e ci ha dato ottimi consigli sulla città. L’appartamento era pulito e conteneva tutto il necessario

L'appartement était très agréable et typiquement Amstellodamois. Le lieu est très central et nous a permis de tout faire à pieds. De plus, nous avons été très bien accueilli par Guido et avons eu de bons conseils.

The location was fantastic on a lovely canal and reasonably close proximity to many tourist attractions. Owner was lovely and very helpful. Comfortable bed. Cafe and restaurant very close. The apartment had great supplies such as coffee for machines, toiletries.

Owner is very careful to point out that this is an apartment, with no cooking facilities (microwave to heat food only) and steep steps down to the entrance. It could be improved with a small seating area (have to watch tv lying on bed); tv could be on a higher stand and handrail for entrance steps. But overall these are small things and price reflects the facilities.

The location could not have been better. Right on the canal and less than a five minute walk to the nearest metro, from which you could travel to anywhere in the city. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The lady who greeted us was very helpful and welcoming, and Guido was an excellent host. Highly recommend!

There was no breakfast, but we were aware of that prior to booking. It was a self-contained apartment. Central to the Museum District. Easy to get around.

A hand rail to get up/down the narrow stairs. Height of the bath to get in/out of TV on a low unit - maybe mounted on a wall for easier viewing Provided hotplates but no cookware to have ability to use. Perhaps provide a hand towel for bathroom & additional tea towel

La ubicación del alojamiento era excelente, estábamos cerca del transporte y de los lugares turísticos, una zona muy tranquila y acogedora.

Todo estaba muy bien, lo único que nos hubiera gustado fue utilizar la cocinilla pero no es algo negativo.

Close to everything. 30 minute walk or less by tram/metro/train to Central, Rijks, anywhere "center city". Clean apartment with everything a couple needs. Close to Albert Heijne store to buy groceries.

Location was exceptional, Lovely bench over looking the Amstel river right at your door step! Host was Absolutely brilliant and gave us an extensive guide on the local area. Apartment had anything you could think of needing as well as a bottle of wine left for us in the fridge! Will definitely be booking again when we return to Amsterdam!

The stairs are rather steep. Carting a suitcase up and down was not easy, thankfully there’s only a few.

The location is amazing, 5 mins walk to Rembrandtpl or Waterloopl, metro, tram, supermarkets and bars, cafes and shops on the streets nearby. Facing the Amstel, the apartment is located in an island of tranquility overlooking the hussle and bussle of the city. You are in the heart of the city but away but away from the crazyness, you can take a coffee to the bench and watch the city wake in the morning. You can walk almost everywhere in the city centre in 20-30 mins. The apartment is perfectly sized, spacious for this city, with quality furnishings and all the amenities you will need for week's stay. the bed is comfy, plenty of space to unpack your things and a small kitchenette to prepare meals. There isn't a stove due to fire regs, but I was still able to eat many meals in the apartment. Tastefully designed with a view into the river. The apartment is impeccably clean and organised, it makes staying here really easy. The host, Guido, was professional, friendly and flexible in his communication, you can feel the pride he has in his apartment and his joy in enabling visitors to experiance a slice of it. Guido lives upstairs and was available to welcome me and to say goodbye, we had a great chat and he was meticulous in explaining how to get the best out of my stay. Otherwise I didn't see Guido, so I still had my privacy and independence. I consider myself lucky to have found this place and to have stayed there. I have stayed in many hotels and apartments in Amsterdam, and I would definitely stay here again if it was available. If it is available for your dates, I advise you to book it before it goes.

I bought a 5 days travel pass, but the location is so good I hardly used it. Sad to leave

A house designed to touch the human soul at every point, like the city of Amsterdam.. I will never forget the view of the canal from the charming bench in front of the house as long as I live. Thank you Guido!!

The steps to the apartment is a bit difficult for older visitors. Has to be v careful or you might bump your head.

The location was absolutely perfect and within walking distance of most attractions.

Not being used to it being light until 11pm a block out curtain on the door would’ve been useful for a good sleep.

The apartment is in a very beautiful part of Amsterdam, right where the river and canal meet, and in easy walking distance to everything. It is a very nice, clean, well set-up apartment. The owner, Guido is very helpful and has thought of everything. Would highly recommend staying there.

The flat is very well located, in a quiet area but close to the centre (2 minutes' walk). It's on the edge of the canal and the view from the street is great. Guido is very friendly and welcomes you in person (or someone he knows).

Lovely little apartment on a quieter street while being a short walk away from quite literally everything. We loved enjoying our morning coffee on the bench out front and watching the boats go by. The service from Guido can not go unsaid, incredibly welcoming; his personal touch is becoming a lost art in this modern world.

We had a wonderful stay, the appartment was so clean and well equipt and the location was excellent. 20 minute walk from Central Station, and walking distance to the sites of Amsterdam. Gudio was and excellent host. I highly recommed Amsterdam Canal Apartments.

The location was perfect. It was central to everything, but yet still "off the beaten track" enough to be one of the more quiet streets, which is surprising, given that it's beautifully situated on the corner of a canal and the Amstel River. There's a bench out front where we could have spent all day taking in the view. The apartment is warm and cosy, has excellent facilities for storing and heating food. We liked the fact that we had our own door in and out from the street. We were given a lovely bottle of wine on arrival (this was a late honeymoon after our original one had to be cancelled, so I don't know if this is common practice, but it was a lovely touch). Guido and Hans were nothing short of helpful and friendly throughout. We highly recommend this apartment and will return ourselves as soon as we can.

The only thing we didn't like was having to come home!

The only thing you should be aware of (and it's written everywhere) the stairs to go inside. Not a really problem, you just need to be aware of. It's something very common in Amsterdam.

The apartment is more spacious and fancy than what we could tell from the pictures. It's very cozy, clean and placed in the big heart of the amazing Amsterdam. We loved the neighbourhood and made our way through the city by foot because everything is within walking distance from the apartment. We were welcomed by Hans who was very helpful, handing us a folder with travel tips and showing us around the city map. He was also very patient with us - coming from the train station, we initially thought we would get to the apartment by tram or bus, but after realising that the apartment was only 18 minutes away, we got there by walking.

This is not really an issue, just letting you know. There are no windows, but there is a table fan. So apart from the outside door (*made out of glass and with a built-in small ventilation grille, so there's no need to panic if you’re claustrophobic), the bathroom fan and the table fan, it's rather hard to properly ventilate the apartment. Nonetheless, the windy and rainy weather in Amsterdam make the lack of windows not important.
