Ontzettend aardige mensen. De dames die het ontbijt brachten waren zo ontzettend vriendelijk en vrolijk.

Dat niemand van het personeel Engels spreekt. Ze kunnen je nergens mee helpen omdat ze geen andere taal dan Turks spreken. Verder heeft het een mooie tuin en centrale ruimte, maar is er geen mogelijkheid iets te bestellen. Er is geen horeca actief.

On top of that, the air conditioning and Wi-Fi did not work. The water temperature constantly changed from hot to cold, making it very uncomfortable. We couldn’t even eat breakfast because there was almost no proper food available. I do not recommend this hotel to any tourist or guest. Unfortunately, you may be misled or disappointed at any time.

The location was excellent and in a beautiful part of Ortaköy, although it is on a very steep hill. The biggest highlight of our stay was the staff. A special thank you to Berrin Teyze, who is truly the backbone of this hotel. She works incredibly hard, is always smiling, welcoming, and made us feel at home throughout our stay. The breakfast was also very good, thanks to her efforts. We'd also like to thank Hasret and Ibrar at reception for being friendly, helpful, and making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

The hotel feels a little outdated and would really benefit from refurbishment. We also think more attention should be given to cleanliness, and the hotel appeared to be understaffed and could be better organised. It has huge potential to become one of the most popular hotels in Ortaköy, but these improvements are needed to reach that standard.

Staff doesn’t speak English, it’s extremely loud - you hear everything from the next door apartments. Bed squeaks and moves when you turn. One morning we didn’t have hot water too.

Некоторые Комнаты может и немного уставшие, но чистые! Завтраки великолепные! Очень вкусно нам готовила и приносила тетушка Berrin. На ресепшн девушка Husret помогала со всеми нашими вопросами и просьбами. Огромное спасибо персоналу! И особенно этим двум прекрасным женщинам! Так как у нас заболела сестра и они помогали вызвать скорую, приготовить специальную еду, давали больному человеку воду. Пусть Бог всегда будет с вами, дорогие! Низкий поклон вам!🙏❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰

Die Lage, das Personelle und Preis Leistung

The staff are really friendly and welcoming, specially Bellen this lady owns the hotel’s spirit, she focuses on the details and deals with each client as a special client, May God bless her with her hard work. All other staff are welcoming, Hacelet and Abrar thank you all. The location is amazing and close to Ortakoy center, the beautiful city. The breakfast is a traditional turkish breakfast, I liked the omlet Bellen prepares. Thank you Bellen for everything. The hotel accepts my late checkout without extra fees.thank you.

Ok, I believe if the staff speaks English fluently would be much better to communicate, however they tried to use translation few times. Also I wanted to mention the first day I come to the hotel the room was changed due to unknown reason, so I paid more to have a good big room.

Am fost cazati 2 nopti. Curtea neingrijita. In nici o zi nu s-a maturat , mesele, scaunele din curte murdare, nu aveai unde sa te asezi. Personalul inexistent! Camera cu niste geamuri de lemn ( foarte murdare ) dintr’o foaie de geam, absolut tot se auzea inauntru , si cand treceau oamenii pe strada si vorbeau 🤦‍♀️.Nu s’a adus apa in camera . Doar la cazare au existat 2 sticlute de apa apoi nu a intrat nimeni sa aranjeze camera, sa arunce gunoiul si sa aduca apa in camera.Se vede ca nu s’a investit demult in aceasta proprietate.

Hotel was on a very steep hill

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The studio where l stayed has a nice view of the sea and garden.

The studio facing the Bosphorus was extremely noisy due to the proximity to the bridge. I had to buy earplugs the second night. I recommend the manager to provide some earplugs in the bedroom. This would help sleeping. Other hotels with the same noise issues are doping so.

Vlaga v sobi mokro pokrivalo postelje ni pregrade med wc in spalnico smrdi. Klimo naredil na 30 stopinj in je pihalo hladno. Dobil pekoč občutek v grlu in nisem mogel zdržati v sobi. Sem šel v drug hotel po eni uri bivanja.

There was no wifi. Moldy bathroom walls. The shower water was either extremely hot or cold, making it impossible to shower. The breakfast was quite limited and simple, and it only started at 8:30 a.m., which is rather late

Nagyon tetszett a szállás, központi helyen található , tömegközlekedéssel jól megközelíthető. A személyzet nagyon kedves és segítőkész.

The hotel has a great, very central location, just a 15-minute walk from the Ortaköy Mosque. You can easily take buses and ferries from there, and there is also a bus stop right in front of the hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the breakfast was good with a nice variety of options. However, what we particularly liked most about the hotel was the staff. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Ons verblijf in Istanbul was fantastisch! Het hotel was een prachtig landhuis/villa, heel schoon en met een grote tuin. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk, misschien zelfs iets té aardig, maar altijd behulpzaam en attent. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en werd volledig klaargemaakt naar onze wensen, wat we erg waardeerden. De locatie is perfect: op loopafstand van de prachtige Ortaköy-moskee en de gezellige omgeving eromheen. Mijn gezin en ik hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf en we komen hier zeker terug! ❤️

The location - in a pleasant neighborhood with great links to the rest of Istanbul, the atmosphere and the character of the building are distinctive. The staff were nice and attentive. Price-performance ratio very good.

Being very close to the bridge, there is a constant traffic noise. It can work as white noise for some but can be an issue for others. It was ok for a few days for us. The breakfast is fairly simple but again, works fine.

Personnel très à l’écoute et aux petits soins pour que tout se passe à merveille ! L’emplacement est juste génial il y a moyen de se déplacer très facilement dans tous les coins d’Istanbul avec les transports en commun.

Symbola Bosphorus’da konaklamam çok keyifliydi. Boğaz manzarası harikaydı, personel çok ilgiliydi ve otelin sıcak atmosferi kendimi hemen rahat hissettirdi. Konum mükemmel, kesinlikle tavsiye ederim.

It was a basic breakfast compared to the other hotels we stated in Turkiye. The location is great.

Its a hotel where one has to climb down and up a lot with no lifts. And the staff isn't very helpful in taking your stuff. Don't go to this hotel if you're physically not in a good shape.

This hotel is family run. It is spread out on different levels with many delightful seating areas in which to sit and enjoy the fragrance from the many varieties of flowers and plants. Mostly everywhere there are views of the Bospherous. The restaurant serves a delicious selection of food and the hotel offers a traditional Turkish breakfast. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a bus stop outside the front of the hotel, or you can walk to the nearby port and town from the rear exit, it takes about 15 minutes. The bus and port services are excellent, it is easy to get around.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, they offered us breakfast and Turkish tea for free. The experience was nice to me during the stay there.

The cleanliness of the room needs further improvement, especially the pillows and mattress. They were found with yellow stains on it, and it makes me concerned if they were dirty. I sincerely suggest the hotel can use bleach and disinfectant on it. Also it would be better if they can clean the sofa more frequently.

Hayatimda kaldigim en kotu otel. 2. Gun kaloriferlerim calismamaya basladi, grip oldum. Klima var ama kapatmislar onla da isinamiyorsunuz. Sicak su yok, kazan patlamis tamir edilmis camur akiyordu. Dus alamadim. Nereyi tutsaniz elinizde kaliyor, cesmeyi aciyorsunuz su kapanmiyor elinizde kaliyor cesme. Akliniz varsa kalmazsiniz.

The room was very nice and clean. The property is located in a cute part of the city and has nice views. Also the staff were very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here for a comfortable stay.

We stayed next door at Deep Hotel for 4 days prior transferring to this hotel on our last night in Istanbul. How we wish we stayed throughout our stay. The room was elegantly furnished, bed was comfortable, bathroom was majestically decorated like a luxury mansion (it probably is previously). The café have view overlooking the Bosphorus bridge and straits.

The most annoying thing is the silly staff who doesn't know anything about the breakfast price, confidently told my wife the breakfast is only 200TL. I knew from the room menu it is 500 TL per person. I didn't want to have breakfast there, as it is the same serving as Deep Hotel next door which we didn't enjoy for past several days. Both of us are platinum member for OneWorld airlines and i was planning to have breakfast at the airport business class lounge. When paying for the breakfast only we reaized we were scammed. Instead of apologizing and waived the breakfast fee, we were given discount of only 50 TL. I just kept cool as looking forward for the trip back home.

Everything is extraordinary, the staff is very friendly and kind, everything is clean and the food is extremely good, we will return next year with the greatest love

We arrived at the hotel but unfortunately the room is very very dirty and very old. Needs refurbishment and not suitable for staying. The AC was pouring water to the floor. Mattresses dirty and smells bad and some parts are torn. Room full of flies. I left the hotel immediately. Couldn't stay for 10 minutes.

Personnel were really helpful.

We were given a room really small and with very old installations. The shower was the worst part, it was impossible to keep the shower head stable since it was too old. You could hear the noise all the time since the room was at ground level.

Otel de sıcak su yoktu soğuk suyla duş aldık,duşa kabin içerisinde böcek vardı kendim temizledim,duvarların boyası dökülmüş haldeydi,ütü istedik milattan kalma bir ütüydü ve ütü masası yoktu yatak üzerinde bozuk ütüyle ütü yaptık,oda içerisinde ki dolapta hiç bir soğuk içeçek yoktu sadece iki adet sıcak su vardı,odalarda ses yalıtımı bulunmuyor yan tarafınızda ki kişilerin sesini olduğu gibi duyuyorsunuz.

It was my worst stay ever. I stayed in Türkiye for over 10 days in 5 different hotels and it was awesome but on the last day of my visit I came to Hotel Symbola for one night . the room was so dirty dust on the floor , we found 2 worms , one on the bed , my room which meant to be with garden view the only view we got was the next door room , the worst of all that we couldn't sleep all night at all because the was a noise coming from the hydraulics and the boiler every almost 10 minutes which sound loud especially that was next to the room so no Soundproofing no Sofa as it shows in the room facility no TV channel at all , no hairdryer , i called the reception they put me on hold for couple minutes then they hanged up .... never again

Location, great staff. Very nice buildings and old rooms with decorated wood panelling. Breakfast was good quality.

Room was not very clean, there were dust balls on the pelmet on top of the curtains. AC stopped working and due to staff being limited in the evening it wasn't fixed. Room was a little noisy due to the highway nearby, but it didnt bother our kid. Would stay again if the room was exceptionally clean.
