As cyclists, a lock up for our bikes was much appreciated. It was an easy walk into town and quiet for sleeping. Our host was very kind and the breakfast very good.

Greeted and shown to our room by very friendly staff. All facilities were explained. Breakfast was great order taken when we arrived for the next morning lots of choices available.

Das komfortable Bett und das jedes Zimmer ein DVD Player hatte. So konnte man abends sich noch einen Film aus der DVD Sammlung anschauen. Ebenfalls das hervorragende Frühstück und die sehr nette Geste, das man zum Abschied ein Cake mitbekommen Jahr.

Perfectly situated 5 minutes walk from the centre of the town. The host greeted us at the door, took our bags showed us to the room personally and gave up handy tips about getting around the town.

The location was a short walk into town. The room was ideal for what we wanted and the breakfast was excellent. A really good value for money place to stop .

Het is vanzelfsprekend geen hotel, dus als je nog niet ingecheckt bent kun je niet zomaar even binnenlopen (wij waren iets te vroeg en konden er niet eerder in) of uitgecheckt ( wij konden bagage op de uitcheck dag achterlaten maar moesten een afspraak maken wanneer we de bagage op kwamen halen). Niet onoverkomelijk en begrijpelijk, dus maar een klein minpuntje!

Booked to stay at the Salisbury Guest House for one night after a long day hiking. The host was extremely welcoming and made us a lovely breakfast in the morning. The location is perfect with on street parking and just a short walk into Keswick town centre.

Parking is not easy, but we suspected it would be due to being there in an august.

From the minuet we arrived Matt and Paul were very attentative and welcoming,we were made to feel very comfortable,the dog got loads of attention, the area was very dog friendly. The park was only a minuets walk from the guest house and two minuets into town. The food was lovely and plenty of it, would definitely recommend to family and driends

B&B is well located, close to the centre but away from the hustle and bustle of Keswick. I had a spacious, comfortable room at the front of the house. Slept well and enjoyed nice breakfast. A good price as well. It's always difficult in places like Keswick picking out decent places to stay but I'd definitely recommend the Salisbury and would be very happ to stay here again.

Great location. Breakfast was excellent - the cooked breakfast items were very good quality and very tasty. The fruit salad was lovely everything was fresh. I really appreciated the fan as it was so hot!

Some of the bathroom towels were stained and there was quite a lot of dust in the room.

Lovely guesthouse! Comfortable room, with tea, coffee and biscuits provided and a nice view of the surrounding hills. Breakfast was excellent. And lots of useful information and recommendations. Short walk into the center of Keswick. Would definitely stay here again.

Its in a great location for Keswick & local walks etc. We had a warm welcome, very comfy bed , excellent breakfast and was each given a piece of the most delicious fruit cake as a little parting gift - tied up in paper & twine.

Salisbury Guest House is an amazing base for adventures around Keswick. The owners are fantastic hosts. Extremely friendly and helpful. Parking on Blencathra street was really easy all days.

Keswick - wunderschöne Stadt im Lake District, wir konnten viel erkunden, der Hope Park ist einzigartig schön. Abends bei Wainwright gut gegessen und beim Schotten gutes Bier getrunken. Das Salisbury Guest House war freundlich, gemütlich , hatte gutes Frühstück.

Beautiful place with an excellent location! We where welcomed by the host and felt home right away. The room was excellent and everything we’ve expexted, with a confy bed and a nice hot shower. Breakfast was delicious and more than enough to last not one but two hikes before we felt like we could eat. Also, so nice to be able to meet your sweet puppy after breakfast! Excellent central location. Lovely friendly staff, warm welcome and very helpful. Comfortable, large room. On street free parking if you're lucky, very close to town centre. Really informative guest book in the room with lots of suggestions for where to eat etc.

A little more choice of cereal and fresh fruit with breakfast would be great, and perhaps a wider selection of cooked breakfast options (ie: scrambled eggs and smoked salmon/ Eggs Benedict) would be great.

A warm friendly welcome, we brought prosecco with us as we were celebrating a 50 year reunion. Matt chilled it and served it in a ice bucket which made the occasion extra special. Our room and bathroom was very comfy and the breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. Nice touch was individually wrapped home made cake for us to take home. Thank you for a memorable stay.,🥰
