The property is immaculately presented with top quality appliances, a well resourced kitchen with every tool or appliance you could want, and sweeping vistas of both the Remarkables and Lake Wakatipu. The proximity to town was fantastic. A short 5 min walk to the Pier and the restaurant district. The Staysouth property managers were incredibly helpful with advice on Queenstown and made themselves available at all times. The whole booking process to arrival through to departure was made simple by the professionalism of the Staysouth team.

Beautiful, well-appointed, very clean, so comfortable! Higher-end luxury. Air conditioning, fireplace, brand new appliances, garage, walk to everything, picture-postcard views! Wonderful for our family holiday. Felt like home. Well worth the cost.

We loved it & would very happily stay here again; however, be aware that the road is pretty busy & noisy from 6.30am. We were in apartment 10 & there is a street light right outside that blasts into the primary bedroom all night. The view across the lake to the mountains is spectacular but sad you have to close the curtains to stop the streetlight overnight.

The location was a huge plus — being within walking distance to town made everything incredibly convenient. The kitchen and bathroom amenities were well stocked and easy to use, and having a washer and dryer (with powder provided) was a thoughtful touch that made the stay even smoother. The space was generous and worked perfectly for a big group, and the beds were wonderfully comfortable, making it an overall enjoyable and practical place to stay.

There were a few areas that could use some attention. The microwave cabinet had a strong lingering smell, likely from previous guests’ food, which made it a bit unpleasant to use. The bathroom drain was also quite slow, so water tended to pool during showers. Parking can be tricky for larger cars, especially when another vehicle is parked next door, as the space becomes quite tight. Addressing these points would make the stay even more comfortable.

This was a terrible experience. We were given a room with a strong, unbearable urine smell without any prior notice or compensation. We only got cleaning the next day, but the smell remained. This is the worst accommodation I’ve ever had. There was no sincere apology or proper compensation.

Lovely property within a reasonable walking distance to the main areas of Queenstown CBD. A beautiful view of Lake Wakatipu with a childrens playground directly across the road.

There is no powder room downstairs.

Really nice rooms, very clean, great showers, excellent location.

The master bedroom didn't have sheer curtains so no real privacy. Lots of road noise. Parking is too tight for two cars.

The home was spacious, clean, and neatly presented, with a beautiful short walk along the lake into the main city area.

Traffic noise is quite noticeable in the mornings, as the master bedroom window and glass door are not soundproof.

The location was well located, 800m walk into the heart of Queenstown without any hills! The property has a decent amount of kitchen equipment and the downstairs area was lovely and big. Property management are very responsive.

The built in heaters in the unit did not all work, and oil heaters were put out in replacement however did not offer the same level of heat. The bathroom floor heater didn’t work upon arrival, which was fixed with 48 hours of our request. We were travelling with our parents/jn laws and the unit didn’t offer much privacy / separation with all rooms on the same floor. The garage was small. Large cars do not fit. The open carpark outside our unit was always taken up by our neighbours vehicle which was frustrating.

Really homely feel. Short walk to everything. Added comfort of having a carport for hire vehicle and not just on street parking!

A fantastic property only 5 minutes walk from the heart of Queenstown along the Lake Esplanade . The townhouse is quiet, secure and has private parking. Fully self contained with everything you will need. We will definitely be back.

Bedding! Rock hard single beds (pushed together) made for an uncomfortable sleep. Also, I continue to be baffled why accommodations continue with sheets on duvets! Why not a normal duvet cover? So much nicer and you don’t spend endless hours tossing and turning fighting with the sheets. I would have taken the sheets off but the Duvet itself wasn’t particularly nice - time for a wash!

Great location in front of the mountains lake, close to central shopping, restaurants. Facilities were very comfortable, luxurious and also had a fireplace in the living room.

Enjoyed the small details like the heated towel racks, the pantry, the large oven, the multiple towels to cover for several days, the washer and dryer functionality with powder provided was helpful. View of the lake was nice (facing some cars which is ok) and relatively ok walking distance to the main shops.

The rooms are all set up beautifully. You have everything that you need here. It is home away from home with the most beautiful views and just the perfect location.

The location was wonderful and the photos were very accurate. Good kitchen facilities and comfortable beds.

Lack of accessibility into the apartment. The outside steps can be very slippery and there is no handrails. There are also no handrails on the inside stairs. No downstairs toilet.

This is a beautiful place on a beautiful street. The house feels like home. Our only problem was that the air conditioning doesn’t cool the upstairs bedrooms. We don’t mind sleeping with the windows opened except the street is very busy and loud, even at night until 11:00pm.

Brilliant location lakeside within easy walk to Queenstown. Three good sized bedrooms all with large double beds. Bath in master Bathroom had a wonderful view. Easy parking adjacent to property or use of a garage. Kitchen immaculate and very well equipped. Spacious lounge with two comfortable sofas and easy to use Gas Fireplace. Great service from the company when they returned some property to me that I had left behind.

The property was in a great location

We have stayed here before in a different unit but this one really needed some maintenance!! Lounge suite was broken and couldn’t relax and enjoy! Hairdryer wasn’t working - bed linen was grubby! Could not get the stove to work and NO Instructions on how to use it!

The only fault was that there was little appliance use manuals, particularly, How to adjust the downstairs main AC. Also had some difficulty with apps and log on to the small Sony TV in the main bedroom

This was the most beautiful property! It was clean, high end finishes yet felt incredibly comfortable. The fireplace and heated bathroom floors were such a beautiful touch.

Property was fantastic, short walk (8min) to The town center, easy parking for the car and easy access to all roads out of queenstown. Lots of room inside for a family, Inside gas Fire was great, kitchen had everything you need. Great views of the lake and front court yard was great to soak up the sun. Highly recommend this location for people to stay during your visit to queenstown.

There was nothing wrong with the property.

The views are great. It is easily accessible to the center. The rooms are complete with everything you need. It is also very clean.

The washing machines are a bit loud.

Location is an easy 5-10min walk to town. Lovely scenic outlook from the master bedroom. Well equipped kitchen for cooking and bathroom amenities were excellent. Lovely closed in courtyard and comfy large beds. Washer and dryer were handy as well.

We didn't receive check in code until quite late and our house number got changed at the last minute which was a little confusing.

Excellent communication from the time we booked. Very close to everything queenstown has to offer.

The property is immaculately clean with comfortable furnishings and tasteful decor. The modern kitchen is supplied with everything you could need. The view is excellent and there's an outside area to enjoy.

Just don't expect many basics in the pantry and fridge like some properties, though we did appreciate the few tea bags and small carton of milk.

Fantastic location with a delightful walk along the lakefront to town. Spotlessly clean and everything needed for a comfortable 2 week stay for 4 adults and a child. Great facilities. Secure off street parking. Lovely gas fire as well as fans and air conditioning. Staysouth were very responsive when we had a minor issue with the gas fire and a pleasure to deal with. Our stay was fabulous!

We absolutely loved our stay here ! An excellent option for families or even a group of friends, we have already started talking about our next stay here. My partner and I stayed with our two kids under two, and there grandparents. It was very spacious and comfortable, incredible location, within walking distance to all things QT city centre and no hassle of needing to find a park. Park across the road for the littles, although not necessary when the lake and wide open spaces to run is literally right at your doorstep. We could not be happier with this accomodation, and have already begun recommending it to friends.

We loved the space, the set up, quality furniture, the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with everything working and of excellent standard. The clear instruction manuals, wifi set up, mid-week clean, parking, underfloor heating in the bathrooms and perfect temperatures for the house to ensure we were never cold. We cannot recommend Esplanade South and the StaySouth team enough and we look forward to our next trip and staying with them again.

Our only comment is please consider sharpening the kitchen knives as they are starting to go blunt.

The location was wonderful, very convenient to the lake and children’s playground as we were travelling with young children. The villa was very well designed, the decor lovely and restful, it was tidy and all required amenities were present. The view of the Remarkables was stunning. The beds were very comfortable. It was well heated and the electric fire was a lovely focal point. Parking was good. Access was seamless.

It is looking a little tired with mould in the master shower, wallpaper ripples, damaged paintwork. Need a greater range of pillows (ie some thinner options). Double sheeting was annoying - a duvet cover would have been preferable as it is easier to make. The dishwasher had lost its icons so we didn’t know what cycle it was on causing the need to repeat wash dishes - some written instructions and new labels would be good.

It's a lovely space in a great location. Well appointed and very livable.

There wasn't;t any air conditioning. Some of the units have it but number 12 did not. Would stay again at one of the units that had air conditioning.

garage key wasn’t working, no safety guard for fire place - safety issue for kids, a vacuum would be really handy particularly for families with kids that make a mess regularly. mattress in smaller room was terrible, for the amount of money paid to rent, surely the owners can afford a new mattress haha

There was a mid week service and the cleaners turned off the wifi and took my hair turban (I don't think they stole it - I think they just picked it up with all the white towels by accident). We were going out for the day so I didn't even report it. The Staysouth person came over to fix the wifi.
