The hotel exceeded our expectations. A modern hotel with beautiful room design. The bathroom was very luxurious. Great location—a 6-minute walk from the Zermatt train station and just a 1-minute walk from the Sunnegga funicular station. The hotel also provides a free shuttle to and from the train station. There is an excellent bakery right next to the hotel. The staff was very kind and courteous. A wonderful experience.

Great cocktail bar downstairs, amazing view of the Matterhorn, comfortable beds, unbelievably good shower.

Wish that it had fans available. There are no/few places with air conditioning in Zermatt so having a fan would have been helpful to move more air on the top floor when they were experiencing temperatures 22 degrees F above average. Wonderful stay otherwise.

A little loud being by a main thoroughfare but think most of it was because of construction which couldn’t be helped.

The views are absolutely breathtaking—Matterhorn is right outside the window! The hotel’s commitment to sustainability is woven into every detail. I was thoroughly impressed by their brand identity; the TV features the hotel's custom workout routines and fascinating documentaries about the history of the Matterhorn. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Zermatt!

The only downside was the dining pricing. The hotel's cheese fondue set menu was priced significantly higher than local restaurants in town, so we decided to skip it due to the lack of value.

Wow, what a hotel, new and quirky but fits in beautifully with Zermatt. View of the Mattahorn from the balcony. The Eskimo coats they gave us to wear out on the balcony. The bathroom was gorgeous.

Lovely room, helpful staff, great breakfast and other food. Transport provided back to train station. Local bus stops nearby.

Nothing they could do about the weather! Didn't get to see much of the surrounding mountains, but snow was nice.

Unfortunately the reception is not staffed 24h and I forgot my room key after hours - there was one available at reception, and no one on call on the helpline - after an hour calling the helpline someone picked up and promised me to come by but never did! I ended up sleeping the night in another hotel room as I couldnt enter my own one. I find this is simply unaceptable service for €550.- per night (in an otherwise nice hotel, albeit with a tiny single room)!

The location was excellent - 1 minute walk to the Sunnegga Bahn. It was clean and everyone very friendly.

An amazing stay - so memorable & would highly recommend. Staff was so kind to us, everything was so easy to get to, glad that they had a breakfast option & the ski lockers were convenient! Loved the fondue on the patio & the fur jackets

Everything was great - minor suggestion could be more access to temp control in the room (we just opened our window, so it was no problem).

We thoroughly enjoyed the stunning view of the Matterhorn from our balcony. The location is extremely convenient—just a one-minute walk to the ski rental shops and the Sunnegga/Rothorn ski lifts, and only a short stroll to the main street. There is also a ski storage room conveniently located next door, making it easy to store our ski equipment.

Breakfast options were quite limited, and we expected a wider selection given the room rate. The sofa bed was also rather small for two adults to sleep comfortably.

The hotel location and room is great .

I was asked upon check in that I would like cheese fondue to be served which I was not mistaken hearing complimentary from staff but actually it is not. It is 45 CHF Charged which I will not order if I was clearly informed . I understand there is no free thing in this world so this is the experience I have paid to learn. It is not about money but it is about how staff should make clear explanation to guest. My daughter forgot her overcoat in the room after we have checked out , the staff did not even send mail or call to inform. We did realize after a few days passed . It would be nice if they do not ignore this.

Beautiful position and facilities, including the outside bar area, were top notch. A special place to stay.

The location is superb. We have a good view of the Matterhorn. Staff was friendly and checked us in right to our room. We also got to have cheese fondue at the comfort of our room.

The view was beautiful, the jacuzzi was my favorite, and the room was lovely!

However, some staff were not very friendly, and the buffet selection was quite limited.

Tolle ruhige Lage. Freundliches und sehr bemühtes Personal. Sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, dies gilt für Zimmer und restliches Hotel. Sehr speditiv, bekamen und unkompliziert kl. süsse Überraschung beim Frühstück für einen Geburtstag.

Das Personal spricht zum Teil nur englisch bzw. kaum Schweizerdeutsch/Deutsch. Zimmer recht eng, kaum Platz für Koffer und pers Dinge. Das Bad war nicht gut geputzt und sehr dunkel. Lichtverhältnissen generell recht dunkel.

It is a very nice hotel, the proximity to the train station is a great advantage. The bed is very comfortable, the view very beautiful and all the staff very friendly. On the way out they offered me a free service to take me to the train station by taxi. They have a store at the entrance to buy souvenirs from Zermatt. A highly recommended place for a great stay in Zermatt

The environment at the hotel and around Zermatt have are calm and kind. The staff at Hotel Zermama are attentive, helpful and very kind and respectful of their guests. A totally amazing experience, thank you

Great room in dark wood with comfy bed and balcony. 5 minutes walk from the train station, close to Gornergrat Railway and Sunnega ride. Modern interior AND extra winter coats for free use during stay - liked that touch very much.

I missed a chair in the room as a "storage" place - but that is complaining on a very high level...

Zermama was a highlight of our trip to Switzerland. The entire staff was wonderful and attentive. Our room had an unbelievable view of the Matterhorn. We happily donned the fake fur coats to sit on our balcony and enjoy coffee in the morning as Zermatt came alive. We ate in the restaurant and found the food to be excellent. Transportation was provided to and from the train station (thank you to our driver!), which is walkable but we did not want to manage suitcases for that distance. The front desk staff were informative and we especially enjoyed meeting the little dog who spends his days in the office. We hope to visit again and highly recommend ZerMama

ツェルマット中心地に近く、立地が良い。 ガウンやスリッパはおそらくエコファーだが、今までに見たことないタイプで可愛かった。 課金するとベランダでチーズフォンデュが楽しめます。 低い階だったので歩いてる人が気になったが、部屋の滞在時間が少なかったので許容範囲かなと。 フォームローラーやボールなど部屋ストレッチ用品とストレッチ動画が無料で使える、ハイキングの疲れを取るのに最適。 受付に犬がいる。

バスルームの壁が透けます。透かし彫りの木の板で覆ってありますが、曇りガラスになるとかマジックミラーではなさそうだったのでトイレを使う時ちょっと嫌でした。 ツェルマットビューを選択しましたが、案の定部屋からは見えずベランダの右端まで寄ると少しツェルマットが見える感じでした。上階の良い部屋じゃない限り期待しすぎずに行く程度が良い。あるいは普通に外に出てモルゲンローテを見るのが良い。

The location was amazing, along with a great view of The Matterhorn. The staff was super helpful, from the front desk staff to the housekeeping team. The room was spotlessly clean upon our arrival and was brought back to that same state each day. I've already recommended Hotel Zermama to some family members who live in Switzerland.

Mama! Fashionable and modern hotel with stunning views of the train, the Matterhorn, and a front row seat for people watching. The staff are world class and you will love the outrageous faux fur deck coats with matching slippers.

What is up with the hidden Floor 5?????

We had a great stay here. The staff was courteous and professional. The room was very stylish and cozy. A bit of a squeeze trying to open two large check in suitcases, but overall a great room. The rainfall shower head was fantastic and the hairdryer is actually strong unlike other hotels. There is no AC, but you can crack open the main windows to let in the crisp mountain air. We didn’t know until the end of our stay, but there is a hotel shuttle to and from the train station. There is a phone kiosk near the pretzel shop at the train station where you can call the hotel for a complimentary pick up. Great views of the Matterhorn and located across the street from the Sunnega funicular where you can ride up to the top for a nice hike around the five lakes. We’d stay here again!
