The staff were amazing, helpful and very kind. We stayed there for my birthday and they gave a complimentary cake, discount at the spa and late check-out. The room was very spacious and beautiful. It’s a high ceiling room with a big. top to ceiling window offering a nice view of the city. The room comes with amenity kits and LewFairmont is close to the malls, cafe and restaurants spots in Makati.

I recently stayed at Fairmont Makati and had another great experience. What really stood out to me was how the team remembered me from my last stay in October 2025. It's a small gesture, but it made me feel genuinely welcomed back. They even reminded me about the complimentary buffet lunch/dinner for two that had been offered during my previous stay, which I honestly appreciated. Check-in was quick and hassle-free. Unfortunately, when I got to my room, I noticed a strong carpet smell that triggered my allergies and had me sneezing almost immediately. I went down to speak with the staff, and this is where Fairmont's service truly shined. They were understanding, patient, and eager to help. Instead of just assigning another room, they accompanied me to check a few rooms to make sure I would be comfortable and that the smell wouldn't trigger my allergies again. A special thanks to the duty manager (sorry i forgot his name), who went above and beyond to assist me. He was incredibly kind and proactive throughout the process, and even arranged for an air purifier to be placed in my room. His genuine concern for my comfort made a big difference and turned what could have been a negative experience into a positive one. The food was excellent as always, and the service from everyone I encountered was warm, professional, and attentive. To top it all off, the hotel accommodated a 6:00 PM late check-out, which gave me extra time to relax and enjoy my stay before traveling back home. What I appreciate most about Fairmont Makati is that they don't just provide good service, they make you feel valued as a guest. The way they handled my allergy concern and the personal touches throughout my stay are the reasons I'll happily return. Looking forward to my next visit.

The hotel is fabulous: from the moment you walk in, to the moment you fall asleep. Everything feels luxurious. It is conveniently located near the airport (it took me about 15 minutes by Grab) and close to big shopping centres (literally a 5 minute walk). I was fortunate enough to receive a complimentary upgrade to Fairmont Gold - which gave me access to the exclusive lounge. If you're planning on staying here, you won't regret spending a bit more to book a Gold room. Say hi to Angelo and Jules at the Fairmont Gold Lounge. I'd highly recommend spending a few nights here when visiting Manila.

What made our stay at Fairmont Makati even more special was the experience we had at their Fairmont Gold Lounge. Right from private check-in, it was a refined experience that felt seamless and well-curated. The lounge itself was a serene and sophisticated spot to relax, be it for breakfast, snacks throughout the day or cocktails in the evening. The highlight of it all was definitely the food. Not to mention, each spread was beautifully laid out with delightful cuisine hot dishes or canapés and desserts plus drinks. The choice for dinner, specifically, was enough that it resembled fine dining. It was the quality of the food and better overall but every visit became a something to look forward to as much for how relaxing it had become. The real highlight, though, was the hospitality—not only was their lounge beautiful and food beyond compare. Service in particular was warm, attentive and gracious without being intrusive; the team consistently helped guests to feel at home. That is this type of hospitality that can make a luxurious stay all the more memorable. Big thanks as well to Kate for helping us with the evening canapés, and Julius and Dexter for their help during our stay and being professional & simply just nice people! At every turn their insightful service complemented the Fairmont Gold experience to a personal level that made an already wonderful experience absolutely unforgettable. We walked away not only feeling taken care of, but as if we were cared for.

we stayed here for our mini staycation for our son's birthday and we're very glad we did! the hotel noted this and prepared nice treats for my son which we appreciated . as a platinum member, we were also upgraded to Gold Room which has access to the lounge. the afternoon cocktails had so much food and drinks! breakfast was also great with lots of choices. since it was a holiday, there were a lot of people. every staff we encountered was so nice and accommodating! will definitely stay here again!

We love how accommodating the staff are. They always attend to our needs with a smiling face. Big shoutout to Grace, Kath, Jacq, and Jamie. Eventhough we arrived 1hr before their closure, they never made us feel that it’s too much of their job. Kudos! Given that it is Father’s Day, they also gave us a complimentary cake which made our celebration even better. Lastly, they’re proactive in a way that they would ask us if there’s anything that we need and would also get unnecessary plates on our table to make us even more comfortable.

A happy regular of Fairmont Gold in the last 2 years but writing this to share my experience bringing in guests in a separate room for the first time. The guests were also first timers to Fairmont coming to celebrate a family birthday. They enjoyed their stay even if just an overnight thanks in part to the Fairmont gold team. Shoutout to Ella who helped arrange the bookings as well as the team serving us night of the celebration Kate, Zarrah, Kevs, Sheila Definitely one of the more memorable stays I’ve had at Fairmont

The staff at the Fairmont Makati are all very friendly and accommodating. The facilities themselves are also very well maintained and abundant, especially the gym! (easily one of the largest hotel gyms I've been to)

This issue (and it's really more of a nitpick) is not unique to the Fairmont, but the pillows could use a bit more structure. Also, the dining area for breakfast can fill up, so plan accordingly unless you want to wait a bit.

We loved the Fairmont Makati! The service was impeccable, especially the bellman Ceddy. He was always remarkably accommodating and friendly. The Fairmont Makati is one of those interesting hotels which is actually two hotels: a lower tier hotel (the Fairmont) and a upper hotel (the Raffles). And as the tiers suggest, one is actually on top of the other, ie the Fairmont has the lower floors. I stayed in the Fairmont, but the way the hotel is set up one had the advantage of being able still to access some Raffles facilities: the spa and gym, and it seems the breakfast, were communal. Also the Raffles had a 'long bar' .. very similar to the classic in Singapore, but much less crowded and cheaper .. which you could charge to your Fairmont room. Rooms were well furnished, maintained and serviced: staff very helpful and polite. Hotel excellently located for the shopper - surrounded by quality malls - and only 15 minutes from the airport. Price reasonable given that this is a high class area.

I stayed here recently for my school prom. While the room was clean and the amenities were nice, the service was a huge letdown. We were told to expect a discount or upgrade as students of my school, but the front desk flat-out denied it. What made it worse was seeing classmates who booked the same dates get upgrades. When we asked why, the staff gave us conflicting excuses about 'membership' and 'availability'—even though we checked in earlier than the other group and neither of us had any membership status. It honestly felt like the staff was picking and choosing who gets good service. It’s disheartening to feel treated differently at a hotel that’s supposed to be 'prestigious.' I’ve seen other reviews mentioning this exact same issue, so it clearly wasn’t just us. Management really needs to fix how they train their staff and make sure they’re actually following through on the promos they promise. Not the kind of experience I expected at all.

I’ve stayed many occasions at Fairmont and never disappoint. The customer service here is exceptional. On our recent visit, the service was personable and the staff made you feel very special. Special shoutout to the ladies in Erika, Marian and Pauline (Writers Bar Team) for their hospitality and attentiveness. Goes without saying, the amenities are beautiful. The atmosphere is calming and relaxing. We stayed at Raffles so the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Location wise, very convenient to shopping centres, restaurants and only 15 minutes from NAIA airport. Overall, Fairmont is always the choice for myself and family for our stay in Manila.

Very nice hotel. The staff is incredibly courteous and helpful — truly an army of people making sure everything runs smoothly. The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options for both Western and Asian tastes. Lots of variety and everything well prepared.

Went during Manila Pen Show/overnight layover to Cebu. The staff went above and beyond to make sure you have a memorable experience. From check in to check out, everything was smooth and efficient. Very thoughtful staff. They truly made our stay so memorable and they were the ones that stood out to me. The pool was great too! Will definitely come back again.

Everything from the help of Ms Sherlyn until the table and food preparation was perfect. The food, diverse as it may be, was well thought-of and very delicious. The only comment about the food I have is that the Beef Carving (Sirloin) should be cooked medium rare first, not medium already because there are some people like me who want our beef Medium Rare in doneness.

While visiting the lobby pastry store, I was greeted by Kath. She was very courteous, professional and Kath’s customer service was among the very best I have ever experienced. Having Kath as a member of the Fairmont team is one reason that keeps returning to Fairmont Makati as my favorite accommodation and a true testament of Fairmont Makati commitment to excellence. The Fairmont Makati team made our 20th wedding anniversary truly special. From the excellent, spacious room to the consistently proactive and attentive service, everything was thoughtfully prepared. We were especially touched by the surprise setup waiting for us when we returned to our room. It made the celebration even more memorable. We also enjoyed the lunch buffet, which was as sumptuous and satisfying as always. Over the years, this has become our go-to place for anniversaries because of the consistently wonderful experience. Magnificent stay at the Fairmont and Raffles Makati. I stayed on two different occasions, and both times the staff, service, and accommodations were impeccable. The Concierge team was incredibly accommodating and helpful with all my requests. A special thank you to Mayumi, the Chief Concierge, as well as Gilbert and the front desk staff for making each stay truly special. The Fairmont Executive Lounge team were also very warm and pleasant, which added even more to the experience. The location is fantastic, close to everything—and the service is truly top-notch. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Makati.

Stay was perfect overall. During our first week of January stay, we were pleasantly upgraded—thank you to Janine from the Front Office for the thoughtful gesture. There was a certain smell in the room, but DM Inah promptly checked on us and even offered a late check-out, though we had to leave early. Much appreciated. Special thanks as well to Dewey and Francis from Concierge for their assistance. On our last stay during the third week of January, we were again upgraded, this time to a room with a beautiful pool view. Our request for a late check-out was granted, which we truly appreciated. However, there were no amenities set up in the room despite being a Silver member and a birthday celebrant. We had to request this from Royal Service—thank you to Borge for making the effort to arrange it. A heartfelt thank you to DM Inah, who once again took great care of us, and to Francis from Concierge for his consistent support. Also, special mention to Govind and Ron Cruz from the Front Office for their assistance. Overall, a wonderful stay with excellent service from the team. 😊

My husband and I have been staying at Fairmont Makati for over a decade and once again, this stay has reminded us exactly why we remain so loyal. We have just checked in for a short three night visit before heading back to Melbourne, and from the very beginning the experience has been flawless. A special mention must go to Sam Gil, Guest Experience Lead. From coordinating our arrival and departure details ahead of time, to ensuring our requested floor was arranged, everything felt effortless. We were delighted to return to our room after drinks at Mistral to find a thoughtful welcome amenity waiting for us, and Sam even rang shortly after we checked in just to make sure everything had gone smoothly. That level of care is rare and deeply appreciated. Since Sam began working across both Fairmont and Raffles Makati, the uplift in service standards has been genuinely noticeable. His leadership, attention to detail and genuine passion for guest experience shine through in every interaction. We would also like to commend Roza at Mistral, who was absolutely wonderful. Warm, professional and attentive, she made our evening at the rooftop bar even more memorable. After so many years of staying here, it is comforting to know that Fairmont Makati continues to deliver not just beautiful rooms, but exceptional people. Service like this is what turns a hotel stay into a relationship. We will always come back.

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in (and I travel frequently)!!! Absolutely love the hotel, food and service. We had a very delayed flight (multiple times delays) and they were on top of everything and right there to pick us up and get us our rooms immediately! Anything you needed, they were there instantly! The concierge team was fabulous and helpful! There is not one employee in that hotel that didn't say hello and always asking if we needed anything. We felt like VIP's! The hotel breakfast is the best we've ever had! There are so many choices and made to order choices that anyone can find plenty to eat! We had NYE dinner at Mireio and it was spectacular! Enjoyed talking with the executive chef and staff! The rooms were quiet, comfortable, large and had everything you needed! My daughter's family needed a rollaway bed and they said it was like a "real" bed, not the thin mattress rollaways you usually get. I can't say enough good things about the hotel, service, food and employees! Thank you for a great trip!

Went here for an overnight stay with my family and we had the best time. Great location, excellent staff, clean and spacious room (Fairmont Gold). Alfred from the front desk and Adi from the gold lounge were very helpful. I'm not good at remembering names but these two were exceptional. Will definitely book this hotel again.

I stayed at the Fairmont Makati hotel during the Christmas holiday for 6 nights. While the hotel has always been okay, my experience was truly elevated by the staff. One in particular is Ben Misola (front desk). Ben was terrific in assisting me during check-in, even though it was late. My flight arrived at 10 pm, and Ben ensured that my check-in (and out) was a breeze. This is important if you have just arrived on an international flight and are exhausted. I stay at the Fairmont each time I visit Manila because of its fabulous spa. Unfortunately, no one mentioned that the entire time I was there, the spa was undergoing repairs. I had to listen to hammering and pounding during my treatments, and the mineral pool and steam spa were closed. It would have been nice to have some communication from management about this. So if you are planning to stay here, check with the hotels first. The location is excellent, and the rooms are usually immaculate. In conclusion, friendly, professional, and invaluable staff, like Ben, who provides excellent service, made a big difference and are the reason for the 5-star rating. Staff like that really deserve recognition.

Throughout our stay, everyone we encountered was warm, attentive, and always smiling, despite the busy season. Special mentions as well to Ella and Kate at the lounge, Anna who assisted us during check-out, Eruelle at the café for dinner and breakfast, and Inah the duty manager, who personally sent us off. The stay was extremely comfortable, homey, and relaxing. You could truly feel the genuine care and hospitality from the entire team, which made my birthday celebration even more memorable.
