The staff is very helpful. Especially Varuni. Great location. Good rooftop restaurant. Close to a supermarket and other shops. The flats are clean and peaceful. Some have a view of the sea.

I have stayed many times in many flats. The toilets in most flats need upgrading, although they are not bad. There were no bedside stools or cupboards in some flats. I remember not having a plug point by the bed in one flat. But generally they are of a good standard and I like staying at Supun.

AC funkade inte i allrummet. Mycket krångel med det. Dåligt utrustat kök. Inga köksredskap. Tydliga krav på att man ska diska själv men det finns ingen utrustning till det. Kunden får själv skaffadiskmedel mm även om man bara stannar en natt. Restaurangen på taket spelade jättehög musik fram till 23.00 varje kväll, vilket hördes tydligt i lägenheten. Frukostrestaurangen var stökig med en massa vattenpipor och annan utrustning.

Close to Colombo 1-15 , restaurants, getting a taxi cab is super easy. Good parking space in the basement. Apartment is spacious. Bedrooms are decent size not too small , not too big.

Cooking pans are very old, not up to standard..hand wash liquid was not there but did had small soap packs.

This was an absolutely terrible experience. The towels were old and worn out, the washing machine was outdated, and the cleaning was only done once in seven days – the other time was after I repeatedly asked them to. And when they came, they only took the trash; they didn't even wipe the tables! It was outrageous! The room was run-down, and the staff were never prompt. You could never find them immediately when you needed something; they would make all sorts of excuses. And all they wanted was money. Yes, they tried to deduct from my deposit for various reasons. 25,000 rupees? No problem, just because I didn't tip? Haha, this was the worst experience I've ever had in Sri Lanka. Please don't be fooled by those fake reviews; this was truly awful, absolutely awful.

Overall the apartment was very clean and pool was very good.

Great location. The staff is extremely helpful and pleasant. The rooftop restaurant is a bonus. The food was reasonably priced and tasty. It’s a peaceful place although it’s in a busy part of Colombo.

There was nothing that I could find fault with. Maybe just a little constructive criticism - the kitchen needs at least a couple of microwaveable dishes and the bathroom fittings need replacing because they are a bit too old. The ironing board was also quite old although I appreciate you having ironing facilities. Thank you!

i stayed supun many time, i have noticed they are not keeping the stranded, i must say they need to upgrade their apartments, now its very old, need to modernize. there are much better places in colombo now for same rate they charge or cheaper then that.

Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Pool and restaurant area were nice, with yummy breakfast. Easy walk up main roads to restaurants and shops. Aircon worked very well.

Kitchen was not well equipped. For example, staff noted there was only 1 knife, 4 forks etc (as opposed to the listed 6) because people had taken them. Seemed like they had a strict policy on tracking inventory which is understandable - but not sure why they wouldn’t replace the items for the next guests.

The wifi is very bad . Not available in some parts of the apartment especially in the room.

Canteen facilities are very bad 😞 food was poorly just adding the same sauce to make a fresh fish and meat to grill is not professional chef's Idea. Come on guys for Sri Lankan food people are thriving all over the world last year The master chief in UK and Australia made Sri Lankan food. In the kitchen no gas TV Ariel wasn't set up properly no cleaning facilities etc

Overall, we had a great experience. This was our third stay at this property, and it continues to meet our expectations. The location is very convenient, with the mosque, grocery stores, and well-known Sri Lankan brand shops all within walking distance. This was the first time we noticed fewer guests at the hotel, possibly due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East. It might be an ideal opportunity for the hotel to carry out some renovations. Addressing a few minor maintenance issues in the apartment could make a significant difference and further enhance the guest experience.

Good location, close to lots of restaurants. It’s next to a convenience store which is super convenient 😁 if you want to buy milk to make yourself morning coffee or make a breakfast or want to buy seasonal fruits! The staff are very friendly but sometimes you request something and they will say they will bring it but never get delivered which is annoying! Some units are very bad compared to others. We stayed in two units. The first unit we stayed was really bad and second unit we stayed is pretty clean although sometimes you get this bad smell in the washroom, it felt like the smell is coming from the open drainage system in the bathroom! Otherwise it was clean and decent!

Dear Management, ​I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction regarding my recent stay at Supun Arcade Residency wellawatha. from February 24th to March 2nd, 2026. ​Despite being a long-stay guest for 7 consecutive days, my experience was highly disappointing due to the following reasons: ​Unprofessional Front Office: The front office staff were extremely unfriendly and lacked basic hospitality. Their attitude towards guests is unacceptable. ​Poor Hygiene: The cleanliness of the room was below standard and very poorly maintained throughout my stay. ​Lack of Flexibility: On my departure date, I requested a simple one-hour late check-out, which was flatly refused despite my week-long stay. ​Overcharging: I was surprised to find that I was overcharged for my room, paying significantly more than the standard or agreed-upon rate. ​As a paying customer, I expected a certain level of service and transparency, which was completely lacking during my visit.
