Good location. Staff were friendly. It has a 24 hour check in desk, I arrived at 01:30 and concierge staff were available to greet me and check me in.

The AC fan in the room was a little noisy, so a little hard to sleep at night. I asked them to come and have a look at it, but it did not improve the noise. The safe in the room was faulty. They replaced it with another safe however the safe was not anchored to anything.

The location is great, with a beautiful view facing the sea.

We booked a room with one double bed, but when we arrived, we were given two single beds pushed together. When I asked the reception staff about this, their response was extremely rude and unprofessional. They told us, “This is the only room available. If you want to stay, go and stay. This is the only option.” The reception staff were not professional at all, and their attitude and behavior towards guests were very disappointing. Even if the hotel could not provide the requested room, they should have communicated politely and respectfully.

1.Ocean View from the room on 8th floor was the best in Colombo Hotels we have stayed. 2. Hotel staff friendly, helpful and efficient. Always with a smile. 3. Very clean room. Housekeeping staff maintain the cleanliness of the room daily.

Sri Lankan food in the Breakfast spread was very limited for a Sri Lankan Hotel. Some days absolutely no Sri Lankan food. Wish we get a balance in the buffet spread to include atleast one Sri Lankan main meal on the buffet daily. It is always Parathas and Thosai which is disappointing. As a Sri Lankan Hotel we expect Sri Lankan dishes more on the buffet.

Good breakfast and dinner, clean room, and the staff were very, very helpful. Very friendly, especially to my 4 year-old. They even go to the extreme of booking my taxi from hotel to airport, preparing packed breakfast at 1 a.m. Additionally, there was a guy at the reception ( I did not get his name, though) he was sooooo helpful. It was a pity I did not see him today before I left. Love them all and will definitely be back soon.

Comfortable bed & friendly staff at the reception & house keeping. Towels need to be newer ones as provided ones are old, too many cushions which could have stored in the cupboard.

Didn't realise that booking direct with the hotel would have been cheaper than with booking.com Location is not that convenient for us as we didn't have the car. Tuk tuk drivers who stay in front of the hotel were harassing the visitors of the hotel. Had unpleasant experience with one of them. I realise that it has nothing to do with the hotel but visitors should be warned.

1. Considering property was opposite to sea there was mouldy smell. 2. Bathrooms needs to be renovated as water collects and become slipery. 3. Wifi was Slow.

Easy Check in procedures & Breakfast was okay

The hotel was quite disappointing overall. The balcony doors were kept closed, and the room had an unpleasant smell that was noticeable throughout the hotel. The hotel itself felt a bit gloomy and the location was just average. During breakfast, a crow would often come and stand around, which was not a pleasant experience. The biggest issue, however, was the unpleasant smell of the hotel, which really affected our stay.

Hot water, they use solar power to heat the water, so in the morning and night you don’t get much hot water at all.

The location was fantastic, making it super easy to get around, the view was beautiful from our room, and the front desk staff was very welcoming.

The room felt a bit dated and could use a refresh, the furniture had noticeable wear and tear, and the Wi-Fi was quite slow or barely working.

The location, staff and room sizes were excellent.

The ac was difficult to control despite calling the attendants numerous times. The bathroom and lift area are dated. It will be good if these can be reinstated as they are the drawbacks for this property.
