Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Super Service an der Rezeption. Uns wurde ein Taxi für den Flughafen (sehr früh morgens bestellt) und das hat alles problemlos funktioniert. Da es zeitlich nicht ging zu frühstücken, haben wir ein kleines Lunchpaket bekommen. Sehr zuvorkommend!
Leider etwas hellhörig.

Infelizmente a estadia foi curta (entre as 22h e as 6h), por causa do atraso do voo, por isso, não foi possível apreciar todos os serviços, como é o pequeno-almoço. Contudo, deixaram um box lunch na receção para nós e trataram do táxi para nos levar ao aeroporto. Obrigada!
O espaço em si tem um cheiro a humidade, sentida logo à entrada na receção. Penso que é por causa do clima local. Porém, o quarto era tranquilo e o cheiro a humidade não se fazia sentir.

The location is unbeatable—right in the historic area close to the marina and just half a block from a convenient little grocery store. The property is very comfortable, featuring great air conditioning, an elevator, and a 24-hour front desk that made everything so easy. To top it all off, they serve a delicious breakfast in a lovely, traditional dining room. Everything about my stay was wonderful. Highly recommended!

El parking es complicado y de pago, almenos cerca. Hay opciones que nos recomendaron, pero almenos a 5 minutos a pie y cuando llevas mucho equipaje, pues no es apropiado.

as janelas deviam ter melhor isolamento de som. ouve-se muito barulho nas ruas até tarde, não conseguíamos dormir com tanto barulho. fomos para descansar mas ficámos mais cansadas por causa da privação de sono. é uma critica construtiva. porque vamos todos os anos à ilha, e queríamos experimentar este hotel, mas ficámos desapontadas. espero que possam melhorar o isolamento. obrigada

Nada, por decir algo que no tiene parking pero es lo mas normal por ubicación. Nos indicaron varios parkings gratuitos próximos al hotel por lo tanto queda solucionado.

I couldn't be more grateful to the beautiful people working at the hotel, always greeting you with a smile, always hospitable, caring and ready to help. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean, breakfast was made up of locally produced foods, there's a lot to choose from for everyone. There's a restaurant on site where you can have lunch and dinner without having to look for a decent place to enjoy local cuisine. There's absolutely nothing to be unhappy about and I sincerely hope there will be a third stay. Thank you everyone at Hotel Alcides, you made our holiday so special.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026In jedem Fall war das Hotel besser als erwartet. Gut gelegen in einer kleinen Gasse mit Bars und Restaurants. Das hoteleigene Restaurant war wirklich gut, sehr empfehlenswert! Aufzug war hilfreich, im Zimmer eine Kaffeemaschine und einen kleinen Snack als Frühstück zum Mitnehmen gab es. Das war sehr aufmerksam! Man hat mir problemlos ein Taxi für den frühen Flieger besorgt, das war alles hilfreich und super! Warum ich mein Gepäck am Vortag vor dem Einchecken nicht unterstellen konnte, bleibt unklar, das hätte besser funktionieren können.

La personne à la réception a mis 1H30 pour nous trouver une autre chambre pour finir dans l'hôtel juste en face. Nous n'avons rien payé forte heureusement, l'hôtel a pris en charge la nuitée dans l'autre établissement.

Check-in isn’t until 3 PM. No parking, can’t even pull up in front of the hotel. Breakfast was OK (but the breakfast meats were not to my liking). Cannot comment on the restaurant because we couldn’t get in. Reviews were mixed. By the way, trying to find food in general on a Sunday or a Monday in Ponta Delgada can be challenging. Finding a property with parking makes life so much easier in Ponta Delgada. Lumpiest pillows ever 😀

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026L’emplacement dans la vieille ville, Possède son restaurant à réserver car souvent complet. Des locaux y viennent pour les plats de viande. La chambre 111 bien insonorisée malgré la terrasse de l’hôtel d’en face. À noter le taxi commandé par la réception pour l’aéroport 10€

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Hotel located in the city center, close to the harbour, close to the airport, and close to many restaurants. Very convenient. The bed was great and one of the best we had slept in on the Azores. There was free water, coffee, tea, … And enough storage space. While in the midst of restaurants it was quiet, we had a good sleep. The bathroom also had all needed. Breakfast buffet was nice as well, eggs, bacon, sausage, yoghurts, fruits, cheeses, cake, granola, meat, coffee, juices, … The staff was very friendly. They immediately offered to arrange a taxi for our last day and to prepare a breakfast bag if we had to leave early. The taxi was there sharp on time, and the breakfast bags were ready for pick-up. Price-quality this is the best hotel we stayed at, in the Azores islands. Would recommend!

Está en una de las calles peatonales principales, pero no hay ruido porque las ventanas aislan muy bien. Es mejor hotel de lo que las dos estrellas indican. Las habitaciones son cómodas y funcionales. El baño es muy correcto. Muy buena opción de alojamiento
El desayuno es muy normalito, podrían mejorarlo con facilidad.

Insgesamt war das Hotel von der Einrichtung her ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026Great staff (especially at the reception at night), very central location, comfortable room (once we got moved from the 3 single bed room that we explicitly didn't book - traveling with a baby)
The rooms and the hotel in general could do with a major renovation, everything felt and smelled a little old (and our bed lamp was broken f.ex.). Breakfast was very tasteless and boring. Overall, not the best value for money.

La reception in orario notturno non è illuminata per cui l ingresso è difficile da individuare.la persona all ingresso quasi scocciato per il nostro arrivo tardivo.le stanze sono molto datate, puzzano di muffa. La colazione abbastanza basic con qualche prodotto del territorio.il prezzo è eccessivo per il servizio offerto. Utile per una notte in caso di arrivo in tarda serata

Tout était bien mais l'hôtel est situé dans une petite rue plein de bars, il faut dormir la fête fermée ;)
