It was nice that there was staff, even late at night when we checked in, to give us the instructions in-person. The room smelled like a room closed for a while tends to smell; but after the AC ran for a few mins, it was all fine.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Die Lage des Hotels ist gut direkt in der Stadt, wir waren für eine Nacht dort. Es gibt keinen Lift sondern recht steile Treppen hinauf. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. Für ein bis zwei Nächte ist das Hotel super. Parkplätze gibt es vorm Hotel (Parkuhr) aber die Gasse ist recht schmal.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026The breakfast was great, and we felt the stay was a good value. The staff even packed us a little to-go breakfast when we had to leave early for a flight. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was great! The location was also super convenient!
The size of the room was very small for 3 people, we didn’t like the smell of the air freshener (we put it outside and that helped!), and the beds and pillows weren’t super comfortable. Overall, though, still perfectly fine for a stay before or after the airport!

Stanza da 3 davvero piccola che dava su un cortile interno pieno di condizionatori. Ci ha fatto compagnia una famiglia di blatte trovate una notte sotto il letto (problema riscontrato in altre recensioni probabilmente per il fatto che la struttura è vecchia). Colazione da migliorare.

The room was extremely clean & well appointed, as was the entire property. We experienced difficulties with a different property in a different location on the previous day, but thankfully found this wonderful property & its incredible staff saved us. Everyone from Front Desk to Housekeeping to the lovely lady who prepared our fabulous breakfast went beyond the call & everyone, from the moment we stepped foot on the property was friendly, engaging & incredibly helpful. Thank you once again for making our last days in Ponta DelGada so memorable & wonderful. From the moment we made our first contact by phone with Vasco, he insured that our process was safe, fast, warm & welcoming. He’s a star..
There was not one thing that I felt could have been better. The entire experience was beyond perfect. The entire staff was enchanting, which to us made this a 5 star experience. Much more impressive than our recent stays at other local hotels that cost 3X more than this wonderful little Hotel São Miguel. We will be back very soon to enjoy more of what this lovely island has to offer & when we do, we’ll be staying here.

Lorsque nous en avons informé le réceptionniste, il nous a directement proposé une lunch box (le petit déjeuner étant compris dans la réservation) ainsi que de nous commander un taxi. L'hôtel est dans le centre et nous avions une chambre au calme. Les lits étaient confortables
La douche pourrait être rénovée (elle faisait ancienne par rapport au reste mais elle fonctionnait très bien). Un endroit pour poser les produits de toilettes dans la salle de bain serait appréciable.

A reggeli nagyon egyhangú, unalmas volt. Minden reggel pontosan ugyanaz a kínálat fogadott, ami elég szegényes volt ráadásul. A zöldségek nagyon hiányoztak.

O quarto era muito pequeno, cama de casal muito pequena, a televisão pequeníssima. Seria aceitável para quarto single com cama individual A casa de banho não tinha banheira como esperava, embora tivesse poliban grande. Muito pouca pressão de água. Ainda me cortei no chuveiro (no ralo) que estava partido e mal encaixado.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026The last minute availability saved us from not staying the night in an airport. Staff was exceptionally welcoming upon arrival with rooms ready for our family. Rooms, beds and bathroom were very clean and fresh! We slept very comfortably with zero outside noise! The provided breakfast had options for everyone as well as quick replenishment for foods and drinks. Lastly, the front desk was able to call a car with ample room for luggage on our return to the airport.
Just a suggestion to improve on the wifi availability. Connection was unpredictable, and made it stressful as we needed to keep track of our connection flight status. As travelers our mobile service did not have roaming. Wifi was important because of this. I recommend moving and/or upgrading routers and repeaters for upper floors. Knowing the building is old and the walls are stone we were patient.

I cuscini nonostante di differenti tipologie avevano una dimensione contenuta quasi come quelli del divano. I posti in sala colazione sono un tantino risicati qualche volta si è rischiato di stare in piedi o di attendere per sedersi

Reviewed Jun 22, 2026A começar a localização é excelente, perto do centro da cidade e a uns passos de vários parques sem paquímetros, o que possibilita evitar custos extras para quem aluga carro. O pequeno almoço tem bastante variedade ora torradas com queijo e fiambre, ora ovos mexidos ou queijo fresco ou ainda iogurtes com aveia, a acompanhar várias bebidas desde a água ao sumo, ao café ou ao leite. E cereja topo do bolo aquela salada de fruta boa. O staff é todo muito simpático e atencioso desde receção ao staff da cozinha e ao staff dos serviços de limpeza
O único detalhe que poderia ser melhor era de facto o conforto das camas, um pouco rijas para quem já sofre de dores no corpo.

Reviewed Jun 22, 2026O hotel fica muito bem localizado. Perto do shopping Parque Atlântico e perto da marginal, não faltam restaurantes pela zona e bares também não. Desde a simpatia dos funcionários, principalmente do Vasco, à qualidade da comida era muito boa. Espero voltar e encontrar a mesma equipa! Adorei mesmo.

Les équipements ne fonctionnait pas la climatisation était en panne et le personnel a refusé d appeler le réparateur il a fallu 3 jours pour remplacer une ampoule dans la salle de bain le petit déjeuné n est pas bon les œufs arrivent très tardivement et son froid 160€ par nuit c est simplement du vol !

Mai vista una cosa così, camera minuscola! Dicono 12mq, secondo me compreso il bagno. Una puzza di cloro da non poter entrare. Letto a 1 piazza e 1/2 ma più grande non entra. Senza ascensore ti devi portare le valigie ai piani. L'unica cosa sufficiente è il personale che, ad onore del vero, è stato disponibile.

O quarto 17 é péssimo. Tudo mau. Minúsculo. Decrépito. Almofadas más. Casa de banho péssima. Não tínhamos sequer uma garrafa água no quarto. Por 125euros o custo versus qualidade era muito mau.

I was stuck on Sao Miguel island for about a month due to my husband having a medial emergency while we were on a cruise. The front desk were amazing helped me with anything I needed. Would 100% stay here and recommend to friends and family to stay here.

De kamers zijn sfeerloos en toe aan vernieuwing. De prijs was ook te hoog ten opzichte van de kamers en de ontbijtzaal. Het ontbijt zelf was ook matig.

De tudo. Fui enganada pelo funcionário. Fiz a reserva, recebi o vosso PIN e confirmação e quando chegamos ao alojamento depois de uma noite sem dormir constatamos que tinham ocupado os nossos quartos com pessoas que se deslocaram pessoalmente depois de eu fazer a reserva. Tentei fazer queixa junto do Booking, mas não tinham operadores que falassem português disponíveis. Ainda pretendo falar. Foi muito mau o que aconteceu. Agora que vi que o alojamento informou que eu não apareci, tenho a dizer que estive lá com as minhas 3 amigas e o funcionário de cabelo grisalho que fez a asneira tentou remediar,e mandando para outro hotel, onde outro funcionário até nos foi levar, a quem demos gratificação para ajuda da gasolina, e ele próprio foi na moto 4, imaginem levar a bagagem que não coube no carro do colega. Reviewed May 20, 2026Хорошее расположение, есть завтрак, чистая комната. Приятный персонал. Одна из ламп между спальней и ванной работает по датчику движения, не пытайтесь найти выключатель :)
Не очень хорошо проветривается ванная комната, но там можно открыть окно. Не очень удобно расположены розетки.

Reviewed May 20, 2026Das Zimmer war grundlegend sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich und wenn man Glück hatte, hat man sogar einen der beiden Parkplätze bekommen.
Die Zimmer waren einfach eingerichtet, leider viele Stellen alt und dreckig, Spiegel verschmiert. Das Hotel ist sehr hellhörig, wir wurden meist früh schon geweckt, weil über uns Arbeiten begonnen haben. Dort wurde viel gehämmert und verrückt, dass war um die frühe Uhrzeit nicht angenehm. Aus dem Badezimmer kam ein unangenehmer Geruch. Auf Anfrage einer Stornierung wurde uns abgelehnt. Bis auf zwei kostenlose Parkplätze vom Hotel selber, muss man außerhalb ein kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz nutzen.
