Exceptional service from staff and clean stay

The location is excellent and the staff are all very pleasant and gracious. The room is a bit dated, but nevertheless, it is well-maintained and clean. The room is as I saw it in photos -- spacious by Hanoi standards with large windows, which made all the difference. Excellent soundproofing as well; I could barely hear any noise from outside even if it's in a busy location.

The Restaurant should have guided me on quantities they serve, since I was alone. I felt that was unprofessional. The food was tasty.

The location was great, nice and central. Everything about the hotel was excellent - it struck a perfect balance between price & experience. I would also like to mention the exceptional hospitality displayed by the staff. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. Special shout out to Anna for always greeting us with a smile. The staff here genuinely care about you.

Nous connaissions déjà cet hotel, y ayant déjà séjourné 18 ans auparavant. Ce qui nous avait marqué était l'emplacement, juste à coté de l'église et de sa très belle place animée (sans être bruyant). Nous avons donc décidé d'y revenir avec nos adolescents. Et nous pouvons encore le confirmer: l'emplacement est exceptionnel. Juste à 2 pas du Lac Hoan Kiem, et de tous les commerces. Nous avons également fortement apprécié la gentillesse et le professionnalisme des 3 jeunes femmes à l'accueil: Anna, Lola et Lily. La prochaine fois que nous reviendrons à Hanoi, ce sera sans aucun doute, dans cet hotel.

Staff is very friendly and they real care yiu and provide help.

A great location near the cathedral with super friendly and very helpful staff, great breakfast with fresh western and local choices. The rooms were very comfortable and very quiet although in the centre in one of the most beautiful streets in Hanoi. We loved it and would love to come back there when we are again in Hanoi!

Nothing relevant, the shower had very little pressure but that was not really a problem.

Il est arrivé qu'une chambre sente la cigarette, mais nous supposons qu'un client précédent indélicat n'a pas respecté les consignes. Les jeunes femmes de l'accueil ont tout fait pour régler ce problème.

The staff were very welcoming and the location is great. Everything is close to you and you can go to all the places by walking. Breakfast was more than enough and if you are still need anything else, you have starbucks, 7-11 nearby.

The rooms were a little small comparing to other places we went to.

Really amazing team and location, fantastic breakfast. The welcome every member of the team gave us was amazing. They also helped up with some of our needs on the move and were so welcoming and accommodating, we booked to come back again on our trip because we felt so at home !

Amazing team and welcome, try their very best to make the stay comfortable. So much help. I don’t have all the team members names to thank but to my mind comes Anna, James and LyLy. We ended up changing other accommodation to come back they were fantastic !

I absolutely loved the Minerva Church Hotel in Hanoi. It's conveniently located right across from Starbucks, near St. Joseph Church, and surrounded by restaurants and shops. The hotel is also very close to Hoan Kiem Lake, and only a 15-minute walk to the Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre and the Old Quarter. Perhaps due to its proximity to the church, the hotel's decor is elegant and vintage, giving it a church-like feel. I stayed in the St. Joseph Double Room and Duomo Suite. The rooms were stylish, spacious, clean, and comfortable. Furthermore, the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, making me feel their sincerity and professionalism. A special thank you to Anna for her assistance! This is a well-managed and hospitable hotel with commendable service. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Hanoi!

Erstes Zimmer war nicht dem Standard entsprechend. Wurde nach Umzug schnell gelöst.

Excellent location near the church, with a recently renovated feel. The breakfast options were good, though the à la carte selections could be improved, as the dishes served didn’t quite match what was shown on the menu. James, the manager, was helpful and accommodating he assisted us in securing a reservation at Tam Vi and was willing to help with other arrangements upon request.

The double bed made a creaking noise whenever my friend tossed and turned it might have been the mattress. The laundry bag wasn’t complimentary, but this wasn’t mentioned either in the room or during check-in. Where we come from, and in most European destinations, it’s usually provided for free. However, since we were rushing to the airport during checkout, James didn’t make a fuss when we explained that we weren’t aware so no charges were made to my card

The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly especially at reception. Rooms were clean, quiet and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was really good as well with a great selection of food.

Minerva church hotel was an absolutely perfect place to stay in Hanoi! It is located on a quieter street but still an easy walk to the weekend night market and the lake. Our room was very quiet. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. They allowed for an 11pm check-in and arranged transport from the airport. They had helpful local recommendations and currency exchange. They also very kindly allowed us to store our luggage at the hotel on our last day in the city until we left at 7pm. Overall a fantastic stay and would do again!

Colazione a buffet ottima sia in qualità e in varietà. Sono rimasto stupefatto nel vedere ad Hanoi un prosciutto crudo a disposizione pronto per essere affettato. L'ubicazione dell'hotel è perfetta nel centro storico di Hanoi e molte attrazione sono raggiungibili con una passeggiata a piedi. Il personale dell'hotel è stato gentilissimo come da tradizione asiatica, ed essere accolti dal sorriso della signorina Ly riempie la giornata.

The bed was comfortable and the tub/ shower were wonderful. The location within the Old Quarter was very good. The staff were pleasant though they hovered. I liked that we were literally down the block from the Catholic Cathedral. You can hear the bells toll so that may bother some, but not me.

1- There is no outdoor space in which to sit. No balcony, the restaurant has no windows, there is no place in the front to sit. Rather claustrophobic. 2- The decor of the room was offputting. Bright orange wall color. Blue plastic on the walls. Sage green curtains. Beige/ black/ white striped cushions. Total mismatch. Also, only a stool to sit on. No chair or side table to look out the window. 3- Towels were thin- poor quality. 4- The frig on the floor was a bit of a challenge. 5- The b'fast was a big disappointment. Poor quality. Limited selection. Eggs can be ordered. So, I had meat, cheese, toast and an egg both days. Went across the street to get coffee as their coffee was not good. Cannot recommend and will not be returning.

This is the second year in a row we've stayed at Minerva Church Hotel. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and in an excellent position in the Old Quarter. It is central to everything yet there is no outside noise in the rooms. The rooms are clean and spacious, with lots of room for luggage. The bathrooms are very big and well equipped with western fixtures. The rooms are cleaned daily, with beds made, towels replaced, and all surfaces cleaned (including the shower). The staff are what make Minerva the only place to stay. They are polite and professional, but once you get to know them, they quickly become like family. Saying goodbye is the hardest part of staying with Minerva. This is the only place to stay in Hanoi.

Emplacement exceptionnel , en plein centre du Hanoî historique (Lac Hoan Kiem , Cathédrale etc), dans une charmante petite rue, entouré de restos sympas, et pourtant pas du tout bruyant. L'équipe de direction (parfaitement anglophone) et l'ensemble du personnel sont extrêmement attentifs et font toujours de leur mieux pour répondre aux questions et résoudre au plus vite les problèmes de clients

la baignoire de la salle de bains n'est pas d'un accès Très facile...

Wow. Upon arrival at Minerva Church Hotel you are greeted by the awe inspiring view of St Joseph's cathedral and all the cafes and restaurants around it - literally 50 or so steps from the hotel. Its a great place to step out and have a coffee, a few drinks or a meal from a balcony in the shadow of the cathedral. And then you are greeted by the staff of Minerva Church Hotel who were so warm, friendly and welcoming and remained so throughout our entire stay. Nothing was a problem - they made everything easy. Our room was great too - comfortable and quiet even though everything the old quarter in Hanoi has to offer is right outside your door. As a bonus our suite had a balcony with a beautiful view of the cathedral (see pic) You won't be disappointed with your stay here. 10 out of 10. シャワーの温度のコントロールが難しいです。バスタブにため終わると、かなりぬるくなります。5～10分位、そのままにして置くと、適当な温度になります。容量が小さいのかも。

The staff were amazing so friendly Hieu, trung, lisa, Ly, Kevin, we will definitely stay in this hotel again, all the staff were so helpful they couldn’t do enough to help, they wouldn’t even let us open a door they were so kind, the rooms were so clean, breakfast was nice plenty to choose from 💕✨

La suite au dernier étage est juste exceptionnelle. Elle occupe l'intégralité de l'étage et on peut profiter de la grande terrasse avec vue sur la cathédrale de manière privative. Excellent petit déjeuner aussi - Quant au personnel il est très prévenant
