Fabulous house! Clean and had parking. All the facilities you could need. Lovely court yard area.

Bed was very high up and pillows were very soft.TV reception was poor. Check in was a little difficult as no one to man the check in desk.

Absolutely stunning cottage! Didn’t want to come home, great location. We even ditched the cars and used the bus into Scarborough as the bus stop is right outside. The mayfield pub is lovely even has a family room and play area for kids. Would definitely book again 😁

The master bedroom remote was not working and the back of the remote was missing. Little extra touch would be to have little sachet of milk to go with the tea and coffee.

Immaculate beautifully decorated property with easy parking and outside space right in the center of Seamer but set back from the main road so quiet and peaceful really helpful staff at the Mayfield hotel as well where you pick the keys up . Outstanding

Very comfortable cottage in a pleasant village. Small shop across the road, pub and Small food hall close by. About 20 minutes into Filey. Parking next to cottage.

The double bed was too hard,very uncomfortable.

The cottage was decorated and finished really well, really handy for the Mayfield pub (just across the car park) and a great chippy just 200 yards away

There wasn't any where for my wife to do her hair or her make-up eg.. no dressing table or mirror at the correct hight or enough sockets for hairdryer or curling tongs, also in certain areas it's starting to look a bit shabby.

Die Unterkunft in Seamer liegt direkt neben dem Mayfield Pub. Er lässt sich fußläufig erreichen, ist aber nicht zu hören. Die mäßig befahrenen Straße ist unter Umständen leicht zu hören. Gegenüber liegt ein kleiner Supermarkt der fährt kleine Besorgung völlig ausreicht. Die Unterkunft ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt inklusive Waschmaschine und Spülmaschine.

We stayed in the Lyseum Cottage. Fantastic cottage, wish we're staying longer. Really comfortable, everything you need, lovely courtyard garden. Super clean, large shower

Stunning little house. For 4 of us, it was perfect. Our next door (who own the property) and a chippy a few doors down - who can complain? The house itself was stunning and well decorated and furnished. The main bedroom (upstairs) was amazing and very much exceeded our expectations. Overall, a great stay

We had a fantastic stay at Five Star Stays. The property was ideally located for Scarborough Open Air Theatre, with a shop conveniently nearby. It was spotlessly clean, tidy and modern, with excellent facilities and very comfortable beds. The outdoor space was an absolute godsend, especially for relaxing before and after the concert. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location close to Scarborough. The cottage was lovely and spacious with a great outdoor space.

Poor tv signal for terrestrial tv. Couldn't watch normal tv channels only streaming services.

Lovely property with quality throughout. Such a lovely area too with many areas to visit close by.

The 2 bedrooms upstairs had extremely firm mattresses but that really is the only thing I could feedback which was easy to overlook as the rest of the property was lovely.

One of the single bedrooms only had a paper thin blind where as the rest had black out blinds so wasn't easy to sleep once the sun came up at 5am and in the same room the window wouldn't open so it was extremely warm.

If I’m being picky the TV in the living room would be better if it pivoted or if the sofa could be better placed.

Booked for a concert at open air in scarborough, it was perfect, quaint little village on the outskirts with regular buses or around £15 a taxi fare to the venue, accommodation was lovely and cleaning staff were exceptional, gave the keys 3 hours early and had a brilliant shop across the road for your essentials. Cannot recommend enough!

Bar staff at the Mayfield are rather ignorant and unwelcoming. Made to wait for service and the change was just thrown onto the bar. Although the beer garden and food was really good.

Absolutely lovely - everything you could think of was there! Exceptionally clean - large comfortable bed in master bedroom.

We all said the same the beds weren’t very comfortable. Everyone of them creaked when turned over. I could hear 1 of the beds from another room creaking.

Beautiful, exceptionally clean cottage in a great location, (10-15 min drive from Scarborough beach and Alpamare water park) Great base to explore from, lovely pub next door and really comfortable living room and outdoor seating area for relaxing.

The house was absolutely beautiful. Everything was well thought. So many tiny details. Easy check in.

The only problem for me was hard beds as i suffer from a back injury i need a soft mattress. I really wanted to book a block.. Maybe will have to bring my owm matress.. Lol.. But this is personal preference not issues with the home. I honestly wish i could of stayed a month.

Toiletries, such a well equipped kitchen. Bed linen was lovely and bed was so comfortable .Tastefully decorated and beautifully furnished. The little courtyard with patio furniture was great to sit out in. Temperatures over the weekend soared to 29 degrees. Very quiet and relaxing.

Nothing at all, so much so we have booked again for 4 nights over Christmas .The kitchen could possibly benefit from having an air fryer.

We have stayed in the houses 3/4 times now . Love the area, close to Scarborough beaches ⛱️ and attractions. Staff very friendly and cant help you enough.

I am only saying this because I know it can be addressed. The houses are very dusty, I believe this is due to there only being a couple of hours from people checking out and checking in. There were alot of cobwebs above the beds, and dust on lamps lamp shades , also hair grips in a couple of rooms on the floor. And the carpets need to have a deep clean. The houses are lovely and it definitely wouldn't shop us staying here again , but I feel the finishing touches would make for the perfect stay .

The cottage was really nice and the courtyard was a great touch.

The breakfast was priced at £10 on the advert, then when i weant and paid they charged £12.

Closeness to local facilities, it was well equipped and comfortable.

The roof window in the small bedroom did not have a pole to enable someone to close the blind. In order to do so one would have had to have stood on the bed which for an elderly person would not have been safe. Also there was no bath mat which is just an accident waiting to happen, for a more elderly person.

Comfortable and spacious accommodation with interesting slightly quirky decor. It was very well equipped and had everything to cater for our party of 7. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated that each bedroom had its own en suite bathroom.

The cottage is amazing, has everything you need within the cottage, Stunning beds that are so comfy, Short drive to the coast, Nice fish and chip shop a few doors down from the cottage, Proudfood store over the road is very handy to stock up on everything you need and was great for BBQ food. Mayfield pub next door serves lovely food and reasonably priced with good portions. Location and property is perfect and we will be back. Thanks for having us !!!!!!

Extraction unit above the Hob in the kitchen wasn’t working and when we cooked bacon butties we had issues with the smoke alarms going off.

Everything as the whole cottage was faultless in having everything you could wish for your stay. The food was amazing at Mayfield and the staff were brilliant 👏 👌

The television kept losing connection as the internet was very poor, we connected 2 phones and a tablet but that seemed too much for the internet. Whilst watching a film the television would either freeze or a circle appeared on the screen or it said the internet connection was lost. I would expect it to be better than that as it was a smart tv. it's a shame as everyting else was ok, just the internet spoiled it for both of us.
