Prices were too high

Rooms were not clean Bathroom was not clean and was stinky

Pure veg hotel. Buffet breakfast is excellent. Clean rooms. Quick room service even in season time. Ample space for free parking. Nice mountain view from rooms.

There is nothing which I didn't like.

The hotel is literally a 2 min walk from the main Chowk, which makes it really easy to walk around to the main market. The property has a really nice view and location but it's an old property. It's good for a night or 2 in mussoorie but for some reason I couldn't sleep properly and at some point I felt like I heard a rat noise which made it harder to fall asleep. I think it's one of those old properties that can only be maintained so much. The breakfast was average as I wasn't really impressed. They had limited options but may be good for most people. Like I would recommend the property if staying for a night or two and wish to stay closer to the mall road.

I think they could've sort of maintained the rooms a bit more. Not like anything was particularly too bad but I think it's definitely one of those old hotels at a prime location. Definitely need to fix the rat issue.

The view, the staff and their service. It was half board as well, so the dinner and breakfast were excellent. Really personalised support and helpful staff. Some of the rooms have amazing views, and the bonfire was nice as well.

The manager had cancelled our booking and not told us, as we had not made a pre-payment. I was on international travel and could not make a transfer within 24 hours of the request- I had promised to pay the whole amount on arrival, and they ignored the message (done via booking.com chat service). The hotel staff were helpful and offered a different room for one night, followed by the promised room for the second night. The manager was really rude over the phone, but the staff on duty were really helpful and supportive

Perfect location at Mussoorie I had booked a 2 rooms for my parents and relatives. Category: Superior himlayan room Rooms were very spacious. Hotel is very beautiful and having so many rooms and quite a spacious area in the hotel to roam around. Like they are having open terrace to seat in the evening and one can enjoy the beautiful weather with live music. They also having bonfire and live music from evening till 11.00 pm I had booked a rooms with half board. And my parents really enjoyed food at the restaurant. Breakfast and dinner having range of food options. Best part of the hotel is the location. Excellent location with enough of parking space available. Because in mussoorie some hotels in mall roads don't have parking space for four wheelers also they don't allow your vehicle on mall road. But location of this hotel is such that mall road is at walkable distance. You can go and take a walk on the Mall road. Hotel is like on terrain so design of the hotel is such that 4 floors are in below ground and other floors are above ground giving a beautiful view and hierarchy from the rooms. Himalayan view rooms are the best with the beautiful view from the rooms. This hotel is a big hotel. And overall my parents had a very satisfactory stay at the hotel. Thank you Hotel vishnu palace.

Food was good and they have a free evening live music program which is very good.

Gap in the bedding caused discomfort in sleeping. They have two single bedding joined together. This has created a gap in between resulting in sleeping discomfort.

It was comfortable stay at Vishnu Palace, location , staff, Food, Cleanliness, room service, view from the room. Everything was good and exceptional. It was over pleasant stay in mussoorie. Breakfast had good varieties, even the other meals we ordered at the hotel was really good. 💯 recommended 👌

Location & Food is amazing. Breakfast is something you can't miss. So close to mall road, parking space is nice. All staff is really helpful. Dinner was so fine like home. Worth every penny.

Please use the odour air pocket in the washrooms. And a sudden change of room due to other guests. Although it was for our convenience, we got comfortable in the last room. Someone rang the door bell and ran away it was childish.

Compared to the size of the superior himalayan view room, heater was inadequate.

The hotel is at best location just right next to Mall road, View is awesome from the window,Hotel and rooms are clean,They also provide Heater without additional charges in winter which other hotels don't.Buffet breakfast was also fine.

Infrastructure is old and rooms are old styled. Small room. Wifi speed was very poor. It did not work at all in room. Only worked at reception. No mineral water. Sometimes power cut. Dental kit had only brush but no paste. Breakfast has limited option with ok ok quality

Location,Room, Food, Service, everything one would expect in their trip is absolutely great. There is no restrictions of Mall road timings for vehicles. This is a great place with great hospitality.

Great Hotel just a few minutes from Mall Road. Very professional staff and able to help you out anytime. Breakfast spread was amazing. Room spacious having amazing views to the valley. Hotel is huge with lots of room options. Special note: Last day of our stay our daughter was not well and the hotel staff went the extra mile to ensure that we helped. They sent one of their guys with us in the car to ensure that we were helped out on the route and at the hospital. Much appreciated.

The wifi was tricky. Need to give a user name and password which was ok but every time we go out and come in the same had to be repeated again and again which was annoying at times. Plus a cap on the GBs used.

The restaurant staff were polite and spoke English, so we were able to order food relatively easily. The location of the property is good, since it’s situated in central Mussoorie.

The hotel itself was a bit disappointing and, in general, not good value for money. The room furniture and fixtures are outdated and the entire place could use a good spruce up. Aside from the restaurant staff, other staff members spoke little to no English and the communication was difficult. The thing I disliked in particular was that the hot water wasn’t sufficient for two people to shower (it lasted 5 minutes every day). We also had to modify our reservation and stay for one less night. I modified the reservation well before the non-refundable date but they still tried to get away with not refunding me for that one night. I had to show the original payment receipt and the updated price of our stay to convince them to get my money back. In summary, poor customer service (aside from the restaurant staff), little to no understanding due to the language barrier and the place is just not worth the money you spend to stay there.
