BKs Premier Motel Esplanade

Clean & spacious. Lazy boy chairs are a nice touch. Staff very friendly & quick check in. Bed a tad on the firm side but still comfortable enough. Good pressure shower. Nicer than some high priced accommodation I’ve stayed at. Found it to be quite quiet even though it’s on the Esplanade . Would recommend this Motel.

The rooms were well appointed and spacious, plus very clean. Parking and access were very good. This is a particularly friendly option for families and we loved that the portacot was fitted with sheets and a Winnie the Pooh quilt - what a nice surprise!

Our room unfortunately was not turned down as advertised during our stay. This would have made the stay exceptional.

Everything the room was big and well set out the bed was big and very comfortable plus the shower was awesome was my third stay there and definitely won’t be my last 😊😊

Bed could do with an extra blanket as was a bit chilly and heat pump was noisy to run. There is road noise but they provide complimentary ear plugs which was a nice touch

Large bed was hard. We slept on the 2 single beds which were perfect. There was 1 pan. Needed at least another pot. Need options for complimentary milk.

What can I say the two ladies on reception are the best very very friendly and genuinely welcoming the room was excellent it was very clean and had everything you would need for a stay the location is very good with the beach right across the road and a 2 minute drive from the Main Street I would highly recommend BK’s motel to anyone looking for an awesome experience and I will be back so to the staff of BK’s thank you so much for an awesome stay.👍

Staff were so lovely at check in. Room was far superior to what I was expecting. And even though we were only there two nights, house keeping came and did dishes and replaced everything.

Honestly the bed was slightly to hard for me but my daughter loved it

Such comfortable rooms - really enjoyed the view across the water. The double glazing did an amazing job of blocking out the noise of the traffic going past. We enjoyed the lazy boy chairs and it was a very comfortable bed with nice linen. The heat pump did a great job of heating the room up on a cold winter evening. Staff were very positive and friendly too!!

The shower could have been just a little hotter, otherwise we had a great stay.

With the views you get the traffic noise. Not a complaint though - they accommodate this beautifully by providing earplugs for sleeping which you dont need in any case, but thoughtful nonetheless!

Location is great, right opposite the foreshore and a short walk to the shops and cafes on Jackson Street. The motel was quiet even next to a busy main street Loved the spa bath, sea view and handy Kitchenette. Reception staff were very friendly and informative.

The cleaner did walk into the room without knocking before we had checked out in the morning.

Excellent location, 5 minute walk to Jackson Street for Restaurants & shopping. Great view overlooking the sea & esplanade & lights of Wellington, 2 minute walk over to the foreshore & lovely walk in either direction. Would recommend.

Having access to a Kitchen in the room which allows me to cook meals in the room without having to eat out everynight. A place to relax in front of the T.V. Close to the Main road so commuting was easy

The sliding door to the carpark was unlocked on arrival. If I hadnt of needed to use it I wouldnt of known it was unlocked.

I've been using BK's as my go to accomadation when in Wellington for over 10yrs...Great location out of the main city but only 15min commute...right beside the beach a for the summer evenings....close to restaurants and shops

We were in New Zealand to meet my new baby grandson and the property was perfectly situated for the commute to my daughter’s house only 5 min drive. There are great shops and restaurants within walking distance and the beach is just across the road.

Nothing. Although the road noise did not bother me because the view from balcony is amazing, some people might think about a room on the inside of property.

The sea front facing rooms overlook a busy carriageway which can be noisy during peak traffic times.
