Quiet place out of the busy centre

We’ve been staying here basically once or twice a year for about 7 years. Starting to get a bit run down - lots of rubbish, old bikes, cement blocks, bamboo construction posts etc just stored around - get rid of them! The alcohol display in the dining room is not used, an eyesore and dusty - get rid of it!

Earth Villa is a comfortable oasis about a 20 minute easy walk from the craziness of Old Town, Hoi An. The furnishing are traditional vietnamese and very pretty. My room was big and the bathroom was half the size of the room. Many people stay there for weeks at a time and go back year after year. The breakfast was great; the pool is fabulous; the hosts are very friendly and helpful. I found out about Earth Villa from a friend who stays there and I'm glad I stayed there too.

It was wonderful.

Very large comfortable room with windows on multiple sides. Even though it’s on a busy road, it was very quiet at night. Hosts work hard to make everything nice.

While it’s wonderful to have bicycles available, they need better maintenance. At least for us, a bicycle to get out and enjoy the area is an important part of our stay in Hoi An.

The whole family was very hospitable and helpful. Location is just far enough from the center of the city to be quiet but walkable. Breakfast was always excellent

Fantastic family run homestay in a perfect location between the old town and the beach. Spacious rooms set in a beautiful garden around a sparkling pool. Nice and quiet. We were so well looked after by Mrs Hua who made us delicious breakfasts and cleaned our room. We stayed a month in this very affordable little bit of paradise. Highly recommended

It was quiet, clean, cool, and the family running the establishment were the best we encountered on the trip.

Breakfast on other reviews got a good write up. I found it very average. Rooms could be cleaner. Loose wiring was a bit of a worry. Ran by a family, but the English was very poor for a place that replies on tourists

Wonderful family run homestay. Quiet and relaxed, clean, lovely pool. Helped us with trip and taxi booking. We stayed for 10 nights, it was a home from home. Bikes always available and the location is perfect for exploring countryside, beach and town, all accessible by bike.

A beautiful property with a gorgeous pool and lovely staff. The rooms are gorgeous and the breakfast is big and delicious. You can't go wrong with this place.

Excellent breakfast was ordered from a nice selection, the night before. The pool was watm, clean and very accessible. Management and Staff were very attentive and went beyond in helping my sister Obtain medical care and provide answers or suggestions to any questions.

We LOVED The Earth Villa! It was a beautiful place to stay run by a lovely family. It was beautifully decorated inside and out and sparkling clean. We even loved staying in just to relax because it was so comfy and our room with the balcony was so nice! It's in a great location, between the beaches and old town - easy scooter/bike ride to both. Don't miss out on Hoa's breakfast either! Banana pancakes 🤤 We hope to return one day 💛

Everything Beautiful garden and big rooms. The Family who runs the place are really nice. The wifi is excellent. The pool are great and perfect for the kids! The location is great, We really enjoyed staying outside the crowded old town. Its much calmer here. We also went with the free bicycles -short way to the rice fields. We added an extra night to our stay, absolutely worth it.

This is my second stay at this perfect cozy Homestay . Highly recommended. Great poolside rooms with loving staff. The Earth Villa is marvelous for family stays in Hoi An.

Excellent variety for breakfast. Huge selection of fresh fruit available daily. Sun beds were in the shade most of the day. Staff communicated constantly and went out of their way to assist.

The property is beautiful with all Villa Units surrounding a lovely pool that somehow always had a shadey section no matter what time of day it was. The Villa is on the main road to the beach but once you are inside the compound you wouldn't know. It takes about 30min to walk to the Old Town or 35K for a taxi (About $2AUD)

Very nice the beds need to be upgraded.The locking system on door is cumbersome couldn’t imagine being in a panic situation trying to work the lock.Lee was awesome!!

The driver that picked us up from the airport was fabulous. We were greeted upon arrival with big smiles and great people. Every morning and return during the day we were greeted by name. They provided a birthday cake the morning of my husbands birthday our stay was super

This is a superb little hotel - clean and very comfortable. The hotel offers outstanding service, a good location, an outstanding breakfast, at an outstanding price.

We stayed for a week as a party of nine. Blossom, Gin and all the staff went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We will definitely be back!

We last stayed here in 2013 and it was amazing in every way. It is still comfortable but the rooms are showing their age a bit now and the bathrooms particularly are a little run down. BUT the rooms are still perfectly comfortable, the staff are all lovely and always helpful, the included breakfast is delicious and the room cost is very reasonable. If you want super fancy facilities pay four times the price and stay down the road.

Lady by office was very helpful, her English was also very good, with breakfast they looked well after us.

This hotel was a break from the busy central Hoi An. The hotel was very well presented with a lovely pool and our room was very private no 7 villa. The bed was very firm but they did arrange a little bit of extra padding but still very firm. We dined in the restaurant a few times and were extremely impressed with the food quality. It is a pity they don’t seem to promote it well enough. Other people that we spoke to didn’t realise you could get meals. As we had stayed a week we were treated to a free dinner on the last night. The reception staff Blossom and Jasmine were always helpful, the kitchen, ground and room staff were always very happy and a joy to be around. The pool was a great relaxation place when the temperature was warm.

Loved this place. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Bedroom and bathroom are large. Nice pool area. A little far from the old town unless you don't mind taking inexpensive taxis. But far for walkers. Bicycles a bit old & very heavy for inexperienced bikers, like me. Could use more lighting and hot water in shower tends to run out slowly before you finish. Wifi not secure as no password is required.

I picked the Earth Villa because of its favourable reviews, I wasn’t disappointed. Incredible value for money. A lovely big room with a massive comfortable bed, lots of wood and big doors that opened out onto the balcony. A nice pool in the central courtyard area, although I didn’t use it. Nice choice of breakfast. 15 minutes by car, 30 cycling away from the beach and probably a 30 minute walk into the old town. Not forgetting the friendly helpful staff including the lovely Blossom 🌹

Earth Villa was a really lovely place to stay. The team went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed - the irganised drivers, tours and recommended tailors. We were about 1k from the edge of old town so its walkable, but also a very cjeap cab ride if you dont feel like it. Hands down best breakfast we had in Vietnam too. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely room, with an amazing pool. Location perfect-jyst between town center and the beach. Staff so helpful, and very accommodating. Would highly recomend- restaurant also delicious!

Just stay in this hotel for 10 nights and found location excellent, staff outstanding,room and surrounds just loverly.Value you for money this can not be beaten.

Excellent service, great stay we were there for New Year Eve & they laid a delicious meal for all of us made it very special.

We stayed here over the Christmas period as a change from budget hotels and hostels during our sabbatical. We arrived on the 24th of December and the hosts had kindly prepared a Christmas meal for all the guests that evening which was a lovely surprise and a great way to meet everyone else at the hotel. The rooms are great, beds comfortable and the whole place is kept impeccable clean. The family run a tight ship here and were extremely helpful with any questions or assistance we needed. Breakfast was a real highlight for myself, unlimited selection of the menu and all of it was very tasty!

At first I was disappointed in the location - halfway between Ancient town and beach. The hotel does supply free bike hire. The hotel is lovely. Very quaint, with all rooms surrounding the lovely pool. The staff are fantastic. Very helpful and friendly. They even invited us to have dinner there on our last night. Overall very good. Some great places to eat nearby. The Red Dragon and Dingo Deli both worth a visit.

The Earth Villa is the perfect peaceful gorgeous oasis in Hoian, the villa and pool reminded me of some gorgeous villas in the Mediterranean. The gardens were so lush and cared for with such love. Biking into the centre took 5 minutes and was sooo much fun. I would like to come back and take over the place with a few really good friends, such a personable, beautiful space!

The location is perfect to get to the excitement of old town and the beauty of the beaches. The staff were lovely and provided help with everything we needed. Restaurant, tours and laundry were a few of the things staff guided or provided us to make our trip easy and fun. We look forward to a return trip and recommending The Earth Villa to our friends!!

Had one of the best holidays I have had. The room was very comfortable and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at the Earth Villa! Everything about our stay was seamless. The weather was very hot so having the pool available right outside our door was really nice. The staff was also incredibly helpful in helping to coordinate motorbike rentals (which they facilitated and had delivered to us without us having to go to the rental place), laundry, and massages at a nearby spa, as well as sharing food recommendations (definitely go to Bahn Mi Phuong!). Location-wise, it's halfway between the beach and the town; bikes or motorbikes definitely help. The unlimited, included breakfast was also DELICIOUS.

The pool setting of this place is so relaxing after a full day of walking around HoiAn that it beats any hotel. The staff, especially Blossum and Jasmin were wonderful with suggestions on where to go, where to eat, Earth Villa is an excellent place to stay.

Stayed 7 nights. Room and amenities great. Breakfast was nice but a bit limited for this length of stay. Helpful staff although some lacking English skills.

The reception was excellent - it was just one member of staff but she was extremely helpful, knowledgable and accommodating. Her recommendations were spot on and her English was excellent. The location was good although we did make use of the hotels free bicycles to get the beach and the Old Town as it was a long walk to both (beach further). Bed was a bit on the firm side but the room was big, airy and very clean. Breakfast was nothing special but certainly good enough. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

This has been one of the bests hotels I have stayed at in Vietnam. The staff were fabulous and the room comfortable. The location was great and the atmosphere lends itself to peace and quite.

This is a small family hotel who are caring and attentive. They are happy to help with any special wishes during your stay. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, with a large on-suite bathrooom.

Best accommodation so far. Lovely large room and ensuite. All very very clean. 10 Villa's in total. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Just the place to wind down and relax. All Villa's face the sparkling blue pool. 30 min walk to Old Town, or ride one of the bikes provided by the Villa's. Staff always ready to assist where possible. Have no trouble recommending the Earth Villa's. 10 out of 10

The location is good just beside the road ,safe and clean.

The hotel is in a quiet place. The hotel is close to the beach and also the ancient city of Hoi An. The hotel staff are very nice, prompt and very courteous. A great plus point for someone traveling alone. The rooms are spacious, clean. The hotel is close to nearly all the places that are on the must see places in Hoi An. There are bike taxis that will take you where ever one chooses to go right outside the hotel. There are also some really good massage places right next door making it an ideal place to stay for a person like me.

What a gem! We originally booked this place for 2 nights but when we arrived and saw the pool and our room we booked for another 4 nights. It was heaven. The staff were so attentive, kind and caring. After we extended our stay they offered us a free dinner at the homestay. It is located between the beach and the Ancient Town. We rode into town easily on the free bikes. Breakfast is included. There are only nine rooms so it feels very quiet and peaceful. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Overall was good, just the location at the downside, not very near to the ancient town and not much food nearby and the food was quite bad. Quite like the hotel breakfast though.

Well situated away from hustle and bustle, an easy half way point between the old town and the beach to the east. We rented a motobike for 100,000d outside as it was cheaper that way! Can't fault the place, nice small quiet beautiful. Only qualm was the plumbing was smelly but we figured it wasn't something which couldn't be fixed quickly so didn't complain. It's quite damp, we found our swimming bits didn't dry at all. Minor things didn't change our overall experience - lovely stay :)

After a long flight, we were picked up at the airport by the hotel car and arrived earlier than the normal check in time but our room was all ready for us and we were able to settle in quickly and comfortably. The staff were delightful, always very helpful and friendly. The small size and design of the hotel with all 9 comfortable rooms surrounding the central pool did allow privacy for everyone while giving us all an opportunity to get to know our fellow travelers. Breakfast every morning was really excellent with great choices, we really enjoyed the opportunity to have both Vietnamese and western choices, the delicious Vietnamese dishes with coffee, juice and fruit platter were certainly worth getting up for every morning. The easy opportunity to borrow the hotel bicycles every day and to have our laundry done simply by asking at the front desk staff was a bonus.

We had a wonderful stay at the Earth Villa. The modern facility is in pristine condition with beautifully tended gardens and unique, immaculate grounds. The pool provides a wonderful break in the middle of a busy day of sightseeing. The hotel is in between the beach and the town, and you can bike anywhere quickly on the bikes provided by the hotel for a nominal fee. The staff was warm and friendly and hard working. Breakfasts were amazing, and one night the owners put on a Vietnamese feast for the guests. We stayed 5 days here, and loved every minute of it.

A great little hotel. It is about a 20 min walk to/from the city and a 30 min walk to/from the beach. We rented bicycles and a motorbike from the hotel. The breakfast was the best one from our 2 weeks in Vietnam. If you don't mind the walk this is a perfect place a little outside of the main areas.

The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The facilities are good and there is a high standard of cleanliness throughout. The hotel is close to a busy road however and 2kms from the old town in one direction and the beach in the other. This isn't a problem for cyclists as the hotel hires bikes at a cheap rate, but for the less energetic it could pose a problem.

Second time I've stayed here. First with my family, then with my mate. My kids loved the pool. Super friendly and helpful staff. Really nice rooms. Huge beds. Cool hotel.

We booked the earth villa on the recommendation of a friend and couldn't be more happy. The rooms are clean, spacious and have a like zen feeling. We found both blossom and daisy on reception incredibly helpful with the changing of our flights and booking for our next hotel in Phu Quoc. If you are looking for a retreat 5mins out of the centre of Hoi An this is the perfect place. I could not recommend it more highly!

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Earth villa transfer vehicle brilliant even got transfer all way to Hue - driver excellent, felt very safe. Bike rental from villa great. Only gave 3 for neighbour hood as not much around but no problems with safety. short distance into town with bikes great way to go. Overall very satisfied would stay again.

I cannot rate the Earth Villa highly enough. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and luxurious. The staff were friendly, professional and extremely helpful. It was great to have a pool to relax in on hot afternoons. The only downside was that the location was quite a walk from town, however the hotel bikes made this journey much easier. I would definitely recommend the Earth Villa to families and couples looking for a bit of luxury.

We loved everything about this hotel. Staff we so helpful and booked us taxis on more than one occasion. Location was good and there are bicycles or motorbikes for rent to get about more easily.

Great service. We used the hotel's 4x4 Toyota to travel to Hue. Lovely breakfasts & a swimming pool. I followed the advice given about which leather shop to visit (09) and was delighted by the quality of the bag produced overnight. Don't be put off by the hotel's slightly out of centre of town location because taxis are very cheap! Thank you very much!

We loved our stay, the room was great, breakfast delicious and the staff at the hotel were fantastic, very helpful with excellent advice for restaurants and tailoring. Location between the town and the beach was great for us, we hired a scooter and bikes through the hotel and found it easy to get around. The pool and garden area are lovely.

The Earth Villa is a lovely hotel in a quieter area of Hoi An. The rooms are great, the pool lovely and the staff are sweet and hard-working. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel with a swimming pool and the best breakfasts of the holiday. It's located between the town centre and the beach so if you don't mind a 20-minute walk or a short bike ride, the location is great. Helpful staff and comfy rooms.

simply put, a great oasis and nice place to stay. My wife and I would chose Earth Villa again. The only complaint....put another set of sheer curtains on the main windows so you have more privacy. Otherwise, awesome choice and it lives up to the favorable reviews

The hotel picked us up from Da Nang airport. The room was very comfortable and spacious, it was also very clean. Good breakfast and amazing staff! Would definitely stay here again

We loved our stay at the Earth Villa. The room was beautiful and airy, with a big bed and bathroom. The garden pool was our favorite part of the villa and provided a great place to escape the heat of Hoi An. Tasty breakfast as well.
