The location is strategist, near one of the big mall in Pekanbaru. The view is awesome. The facilities are good too, there is outdoor swimming pool. The staffs are very humble.

Everything Excellence n very good. Will repeat next trip.

NIETS Grand Super Delux kamer. Erg slecht hotel. Niet 5sterren waardig. Was van plan naar een ander hotel te gaan. Maar omdat ik al betaald had voor de 4 nachten en niet meer kon annuleren(geen geld terug kreeg) Was ik genoodzaak te blijven. Met het gevolg dat ik ziek werd van de vervuilde airco

Stoffige kamer. Met witte schimmel(zie foto) Vervuilde aircorooster. De zitting van de sofa gleed steeds weg als je erop zit De kussens zijn niet fris. Ze hadden een nare geur. Beslapen geur. Ik heb om andere kussens gevraagd. Het beddengoed en kussensslopen waren grauw en leken beslapen. Ook gevraagd om het bed opnieuw op temaken met schoon beddengoed. De handdoeken waren ook vies en roken naar riool water Ik heb de housekeeper gevraagd om aan de handdoeken te ruiken. Heb toen nieuwe handdoeken gekregen.

It’s convenient. Room is ample for 4 adults. Service is good. All request is attended properly such as request for iron as well as fresh towel. Daily housekeeping is done attentively.

I’ve only been out of my country just a few and to a beautiful hotel like this, was my first time. The experience would be the reference point for me for now so I am going to rate it 10/10! Even though English is not commonly spoken in Pekanbaru, the hotel Staff seem to communicate really well with me and my team. If you’re worried about your gym routines, don’t be, Grand Jatra has a well equipped gym. Be sure to check out the Sauna and rhe massage as well! I got a 60min traditional massage for just 16USD! There is also a mall attached to the hotel, with quite a few diners there. Breakfast is always good, good coffee, clean rooms and always smiling staff!

The room is very clean and very recommended hotel to stay in pekanbaru. The breakfast also have many variant menu and the taste also good both indonesian n western menu

One of the Receptionist who checked us in has lost her soul doing her job! no engagement, only know to give room key, lack of skills, customer service, she is jz an employee n not your hotel ambasador! Not acceptable for 4-5 star to have stained n dirty look of cushions, carpet, lamp shade, sunken chair/sofa, bathroom door dirty n getting rotten, dustbin should b replace wth a better one:(. However the Bed is comfortable n inviting..

A good hotel I've visit, the room quiet clean, and they serve a delicious meal. but kinda confused with the parking area for motorcycle but overall 9 out ten for the service. I really enjoyed stay here and i wish i will be back soon, thanks jatra

Good location, has gym, sauna, hot cold Onsen pool, dry wet sauna, easy access to mall next door, staff quite friendly. Good variety of breakfast spread, buffet style.

Extremely noisy at night till 5 am non stop incessant loud music in the background. Open Shower cubicle. Water soaked the floor on bathroom, slippery tiles. Great for fall injury, considering utterly inadequate and suspect medical facilities eg Awal Bros ($$ focus only), would need good medical evacuation insurance coverage.

So far the hotel is good and easy access to all place at pekan baru. love the ambiance and all the staff. The room was beautiful and smell so good. I love the location which near to the town and easy access to the mall. For those who solo/ travelling with family can easily find food cause the hotel attach to the mall

I had booked this hotel based on the good reviews. When I checked-in, was quite happy to see the size of the room and the bed. However once I called it a night the nightmare started. I started feeling itchy. Initially I thought it was mosquitoes. However it got painful and blisters appeared on my body. When I removed the sheets I saw many bed bugs crawling!! I immediately went to reception and showed them the marks on my body. They were gracious to change my room immediately and sent a person along to move my stuff. The person who cam along also saw the bed bugs and apologized. However my sleep after a tiring day was ruined. Did not expect this from a well rated hotel. The maintenance really needs to step up. Apart from it the experience at morning breakfast was not great. No staff paying any attention and seemed like avoiding eye contact. The table was not laid, even after seeing guest seating there. All in all hospitality factor was lacking. I have to.mention staff at the reception and lobby were quite good and helpful. Based on reviews the hotel perhaps is good but personally my experience didn't turn out well.

The air conditioner was so bad..i had informed the staff about the air-cond not performing well..it was so hot in the room..the air-cond is not cold at all..even after the maintenance staff do thier checking,the problem still not solves..

This is the first time I stayed here. I was impressed when I was staying here first time. Clean hotel, nice breakfast, comfy room, and they had Enoki restaurant which served delicious sushi. The hotel is very nice, located in the center of the city. It also have access to the mall. Most of staff are friendly and helpful, tasty breakfast, nice, clean and spacy room. Overall thank you very much.

We have enjoyed our stay at Grand Jatra very much. The kids love the pool and the breakfast is amazing with all Indonesian and western options available. The staff are very polite, friendly and happy to help with anything. We highly recommend it as a great place to stay in Pekanbaru.

The floor is somewhat dusty, especially in the washroom. The sink is clogged.

When we first booked the hotel, we were told that it is a 5 STAR hotel so, we had high expectations of the hotel. Location is good, and most of the shopping centres/malls are located. Food is okay, not so many selections, the room service is also good. The staffs are all very friendly and accommodating, which is this hotel's GOOD POINT. The cleanliness of the toilet can be improved. Rooms are cleaned and towels are replaced everyday.

The surrounding area of the hotel, the roadside of the areas are still having developmnet, road repairs are in progress so, the environment outside can be dusty. Our food tray for breakfast that we had put outside our room wasn't collected for a day! We had to wait for 4 hours to have the iron to iron our clothes. Maybe the hotel should invest in more irons or, they can have an iron station on each floor.

The room was cleaned after 2 PM daily. The facilities were old and repair were needed, some areas were dirty. Sheets and towels were old and had discolorisation.

Bedsheet is full of stains. The toilet had a weird smell. The floor was not clean properly

The staff are very helpful and respond to our request immediately.. I also enjoy the Spa.. The hotel attach to a mall.. You also can easily find eating place around the hotel..

My toilet was flooded with water. Drainage was stuck

No issues with it only room service order for a plate of buffalo ribs that was rubbery gamey till i couldn't chew it up that was a failure by the kitchen chef. Front desk was superb and beautiful Ayu was mesmerising and gorgeous throughout.

Room is Ok but need to repair basin because clog evertime using..Overall service is Ok and recommend to my friend.

The bed and towels are stained and the hotel itself is not really well maintained, lucky I brought my own towel, also, the toilet constantly has this urine smell, the tap water is brownish as well and it usually clogs up.

Comfortable for what we needed. Not a lot of time was spent there. Found it difficult to handle the smokers in the eating areas as this no longer happens in our country. The choices at the buffet breakfast were outstanding.

Small room for superior, the wastafel is lower than another hotel, small shower room. Difficult to find car park and sometimes you use mall park. When check out the hotel claim outgoing telephone from my room that i never do it so i refuse to pay. I'll never stay at this hotel again.
