Easy to get to off the M6. Temporary street parking permits are available for easy access. Multiple local restaurants within easy walk. The room and decor of the Lodge were excellent.

Very easy to find. Our host was very welcoming and showed us to our room. Very close to the city centre, plenty of options to eat out. An excellent choice. Breakfast was equally good.

Beautiful but welcoming house with a charming atmosphere. Our triple room was comfortable, airy and spotlessly clean. Linen and towrls were fresh and crisp, with confirtable beds. Our host was delightful, attentive and supported my disabled daughter with kindness and accomodations to her needs to make her stay as good as it could be. The location was perfect for city centre, just a short walk in. Breakfast was consistently hot, fresh and plentiful. Would happily stay here again and will do so!

Karen was a great friendly host. Was eager to help and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Cooked us a lovely full breakfast and the coffee pot of tea and other breakfast items and fruit were really a great surprise.

Stairs to the top floor were a little bit challenging with cases and the room could have been less populated with plastic plants but these were small reservations.

The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't have the cooked breakfast although the owner made us porridge and a boiled egg on request.

Worth booking for the art alone! Very comfortable, lovely room and excellent breakfast. Host very friendly. Despite the heat, we were able to cool the room down and slept well. Easy walking distance to central Carlisle.

Carron was once again wonderful, and despite the extremely early start she ensured that we still got a fulfilling breakfast before our big race. Absolutely nothing was too much and can not wait to stay again.

Typisch englisch mit einer sehr netten Gastgeberin :-) Die Zimmer waren eher groß und sehr gemütlich und eher hochwertig eingerichtet Die Lage war nahezu perfekt um fussläufig in die Innenstadt zu kommen :-)

Die Lodge liegt an einer befahrenen Straße ! Nachts erträglich, morgens schon etwas lauter, aber nicht wirklich ein großes Problem ! Die Betten sind. leider typisch in vielen Unterkünften, mit lediglich 1 Matratze und einer Decke versehen ! Wenn sich einer umdreht, dann hüpft der andere durchaus herum :-) Eine Decke für beide kann durchaus problematisch sein, wenn man an eine "eigene" Decke gewohnt ist :-)

This is a beautiful property, conveniently located within easy walking distance of stores, restaurants, and tourist sights. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The friendly proprietress has lovingly decorated the interior to foster feelings of warmth and hominess. Free on-street parking and breakfast cooked to order made this a superior bargain.

Die Lage, in 10 Minuten zu Fuß in der Innenstadt mit vielen Restaurants und Bars. Eine schöne, mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtete, Unterkunft mit viel Charme. Die Gastgeberin sehr freundlich und zugewandt. Das Frühstück sehr gut. Wir konnten direkt am Haus parken.

Da gibt es nichts. Nur ein Hinweis, zum Zimmer sind einige Treppenstufen zu überwinden.

Our host was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious, clean and cosy. A generous breakfast was served in a lovely room. We would highly recommend this accommodation. It felt so warm and homely.

We were able to check in early and drop our bags and enjoy the day in Carlisle without worry, Caron was lovely and helpful. The house is lovely, room sufficiently spacious, quiet neighborhood about 1/2 mile from the train and downtown. Breakfast was excellent.

We made multiple attempts to communicate w the property (phone calls, knocking in the door, ringing the bell) over a couple hours to drop our bags. We had reached out about dropping bags early. We were unable to ever reach anyone after arrival until late in afternoon.

We were very warmly welcomed and nothing was too much trouble for our host in order to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The room and breakfast room were well decorated and fresh. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty.

I would have rated a full 10, but felt that the towels in the room were rather thin and well-worn and could have done with updating.

Lovely B&B, Caron very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be booking to stay here in the future.

It was in a good location being walking distance to the center of town and railway station and was pretty quiet being on the corner of a small intersection. Breakfast was nice.

The bed was narrow for two people. It's something we have experienced often in England so it is not out of character to other places. Size of room is the limiting factor. We found it cold in the room. To be fair we could have asked for the heating to be turned up but didn't.

Walking distance from train station and almost everywhere in the city. Carlisle is litterally small but the hotel is in perfect location. Beautifully decorated to the details, rooms are cozy and warm, clean and tidy. You will immediately feel home. Nice English breakfast and endless English tea. The host was also super helpful.

Für unsere Zwecke war die Unterkunft perfekt gelegen- an der Ausfahrtsstraße zum Ring, wir konnten schon am Vormittag den Schlüssel erhalten, der Empfang war sehr freundlich, die Atmosphäre angenehm, das Zimmer und das Bad ausreichend groß, sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Bett genau richtig für uns. Das Frühstück war für englische Verhältnisse sehr gut.

I couldn't fault anything with my stay at Warwick Lodge - the host was warm, welcoming and friendly. The room was very comfortable and had everything I could need for my stay. The guest house is very well located for easy walking access to Carlisle, but it's quiet enough being not immediately in the city centre. The breakfast offering was brilliant; plenty of choice for a vegetarian!

There's nothing I didn't like or that I think needs improvement.

Breakfast was first class. Full english, orange juice, cereals, porridge, toast, variety of jams and loads of coffee or tea. The dining room was exceptionally clean and was decorated to perfection. The decor all over was done very tastefully.

Room size. I have come to expect small, dark, basement, cheap rooms from cheap bookings on booking.com. However this room was decorated beautifully but tiny.

My room was a bit hot plus duvet too thick. The road outside has a fair amount of traffic noise so opening the window not really an option. (Btw: I find most accommodation too hot so maybe it’s my problem)

Great rooms: enough space, two easy chairs and good lighting for reading. Comfortable beds. Clean bathrooms, showers easy to use. Welcoming and helpful owner. Good location, in easy walking distance of the city centre and station. No noise from other guests and surprisingly little traffic noise. Excellent breakfast. Much more relaxing and comfortable than a modern clinical hotel.
