The bed was too hard, they can put memory foam on top of the mattress to improve the comfort, but the linen was excellent. There was no TV.A "smart TV" should be included.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026The cottage was spacious, very comfortable, well appointed and spotlessly clean. Plenty of space between us and the neighbours. Easy walking distance from the Saronsberg winery tasting room, which means no driving.
There is noTV, so we were reliant on streaming for entertainment on a cold, wet and windy afternoon- there is WiFi but it’s quite weak.

Reviewed Jan 30, 2026Wir waren für 5 Nächte in einer der Cottages und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Anlage ist extrem sauber, sicher, wunderschön grün und verfügt über einen tollen Pool mit Liegen und Schirme. Auf dem Weingut selbst kann man sehr gute Wine Tastings machen. Die Cottage ist mit allem ausgestattet was man zur Selbstverpflegung braucht. Sehr gute Restaurants sind nicht weit entfernt (5 bis max. 10 Minuten Fahrt). Wir waren in der Cottage 11, welche sich ganz hinten auf dem Gelände befindet und einen umwerfenden Blick auf die Bergkette ermöglicht - unserer Meinung nach die schönste Aussicht dort.
Wir haben nichts zu bemängeln. Man befindet sich auf deinem landwirtschaftlichen Gelände, daher sollte einem bewusst sein, dass auch morgens um 6 Uhr oder spät abends mal Traktoren zu hören sind. Das gehört in der Region aber dazu. :)

Sols en béton vieux moyennement propres et des fourmis dans salle de bain (bombe anti insectes à notre disposition mais quasi vide !) dommage car il manque peu de choses pour faire de ce cottage un lieu beaucoup plus qualitatif

Assez unique de demeurer seuls dans un vignoble après 17:00 hres et d’avoir perdu accès à l’achat du vin sans utiliser la voiture 😀
Nous avions le cottage no 2. Près des hangars et du personnel qui travaillent. Vous pouvez demander un autre un peu plus loin si le bruit vous dérange tôt le matin.

Pool , das nette Personal und dass wir unsere Weinprobe auch nach deren Feierabend zu Ende machen durften, Wir durften entspannt sitzen bleiben und sollten nur danach die Gläser an die Seite stellen… Ein tolles Plätzchen- jederzeit wieder!

Reviewed Jan 13, 2026This was out third stay at Saronsberg and we would not hesitate to return. The setting amongst the vineyards is beautiful with incredible views of the surrounding mountains. The pool is a lovely touch (especially in summer when the heat can be quite intense). They have extended the area surrounding the pool and added more beds, which was welcome. Pool towels are provided. The cottage was high quality, very well appointed and had everything you needed to self cater. Plenty of wood provided to braai. The tasting room is in a gorgeous setting and staff were great. Tasty cheese platter.
Our cottage was probably the smallest of the cottages we have had (the bathroom was very compact) and was the furthest from the tasting room, but this did mean that it was quiet and not overlooked. The wifi was intermittent during our stay.

Reviewed Jan 10, 2026Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön zwischen den Weinstöcken. Wenn man nicht gerade am Wochenende anreist, findet man hier absolute Ruhe und Erholung. Die Cottages sind sehr gut ausgestattet und bieten alles, was man für einen Aufenthalt benötigt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wenn man Hilfe benötigt.
