Guter Gesamteindruck der gepflegten manlay Anlage. Frühstück sehr gut, yoghurt bowls sehr toll/lecker chef taste of manlay taste tolle gastgeberin
Nur kleiner Hinweis...2-3 regale im Schrank wären sehr hilfreich
There’s a fireplace and bath. Breakfast is included.
That the fireplace flue must be opened by another unit.
Our room was fantastic and just as the photos. The breakfast options were terrific. Really good value for money. Housekeeping came every day to clean and all the staff were super friendly and accommodating.
There wasn't anything we didn't like. The only gripe would be (as I had to work one night) so whilst waiting on work, I thought I would use the tv, but sadly every channel was blocked due to an outstanding account owed.
The accommodation was perfect for a winter weekend away with a fire place and a bath. We liked the on-site restaurant for breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed wine tasting with a cheese platter there too. Short drive into town and to nearby wine farms. Quiet, peaceful location surrounded by farmland and mountain views.
Wonderful staff, excellent food and facilities.
Not staying longer.
Good location, in the wine estate with a pretty lake near it. We enjoyed our stay.
A bit dirty, lots of dust, cob webs and the bathroom shower could use a good clean. Could use some electric blankets or a heater, we didn't have enough fire lights for the entire duration of our stay to keep the fire going (also lots of smoke inhalation which isn't ideal).
Fire place and coffee machine in room was a treat
All good. Maybe another small mat in bathroom. Very cold floor in winter..
Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was excellent. This and the comfort of the bed were highlights. There is a lovely fireplace in the room but the room became smoky when we used it. Generally a lovely place to stay.
The ventilation and heating in room 8. There was only a fireplace to warm the room and this caused smokiness in the room that was unpleasant. The bathroom could be more user friendly. There is a shelf above the basin that makes it difficult to use.
The grounds Rw beautiful and well kept, the restaurant is fantastic and staff is friendly.
The parking for guests at the accommodation can definitely be improved was a bit tricky and would be great if they added more accommodation that offers more privacy where rooms are further apart but even with that said the accommodation was comfortable and clean.
The venue and surroundings were beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly.
The kitchen didn't have enough working space when we cooked our dinner and breakfasts, but we managed.

The farm is so beautiful, and our cottage was so comfortable. The restaurant is amazing. The aircon and swimming pool were lovely on the hot days. Definitely recommend this stay to explore the area or to just relax.

Auntie Ria was a whizzbomb no stone unturned the most lovely lady@ made sure everything ran smoothly I would also compliment the resteraunt for a super breakfast@ the scenery was like I've never experienced before
Nothing
We didn't had breakfast we had our own, but all the things were there for us too use in the kitchen.
It's small would love to have a mop to clean the floors.
Lovely people and great space
The bathrooms can do with a little revamp
Fantastic breakfast, very friendly staff. Situated in a very beutiful and relaxing surroundings! Nice and clean room with aircon. Plus for the pool!
Nothing, very happy with the stay!
Beautiful estate, rooms are getting a bit old and could do with a revamp
Aircon should be replaced with a new one to allow for better control
Mooie lokatie en fijne ondersteuning van het management toen we autopech hadden.
Breakfast was delicious

The location was excellent - Not to far out of town for easy excess. The breakfast was very good and satisfying. The atmosphere very relaxing and calm
Was nothing that we did not like.
From the welcome to the farewell, I enjoyed every moment. Comfortable bed in a spacious room, with a Nespresso coffee machine, teas and rusks. Airconditioner cooled the room perfectly. Good water pressure in the shower. Good lighting in the room and bathroom. Nice heavy curtains to darken the room. Breakfast menu is a light but ample serving for guests (where included in the rate). I had 3 different breakfasts. All start with muesli, yoghurt with chia seeds, and fresh fruit topping. Then choose a one egg benedict breakfast with salmon, or bacon, or mushroom and spinach, with hollandaise and a choice of breads. Or a Manley breakfast of 2 eggs and choice of 3 (bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach, chips) along with toast, butter and jam. You get a large glass of orange juice and one Americano. Breakfast is served till 11am, which was excellent for me, as I was on a go slow trip. I loved sitting on the shaded verandah and taking in the view. So relaxing. Taste at Manley serves brrakfast, lunch and dinner (check which days). Excellent mrals, as well as pizzas. Wine tasting and beer tasting available. Excellent location, only 3 minutes from town.
The room has small cappuccino mugs only. Please consider adding tea cups.
The views from the rooms and the restaurant is just amazing! We enjoyed the breakfast included in the stay and the staff was so friendly and professional that we spent both nights at the restaurant as well. Lastly, the wine tasting was great (yes, I did exhaust my budget to buy Manley wines).
If I really have to fault anything, I will only say that it would be nice if they have marked trails. I went for a jog on Sunday and had to turn around at some point because I saw a "private property" sign.

The place is a beautiful romantic spot with so much love
Nothing it is wonderful
Really beautiful and Very friendly staff.
Nothing to complain about the best town ever
Beautiful and tranquil with super-friendly staff.
The location was great. The check-in was smooth, and there was a lovely and friendly lady who helped us. All in all, it was ok, but for the price, we expected a bit better.
The fireplace didn't heat the room. We had so much smoke in the room that was very unpleasant. The room was very cold because the door didn't seal properly. The restaurant was also closed due to it not being part of Manley Estate. Which was a bit inconvenient, but ok.
The room was super clean, and everything we needed Marcus assisted with. Absolutely fantastic, attentive host and friendly staff, with efficient service. The food was delicious, especially the pizza specials on Fridays and breakfast. Was my birthday, and they wished me and brought out champagne and chocolate, which really made me feel special. Will definitely recommend and be back again.
Maybe a suggestion for undercover parking.
Everything was good. Spacious rooms. All the amenities were perfect. Restaurant on site with good menu. Lovely breakfast. Close to wine cellars and town
The wood for the fire place had not been replaced. On a weekend of Springbok rugby, we could not watch it on DSTV. We had to stream on a mobile phone. Otherwise, it was perfect.
The location was superb providing a relaxed and comfortable stay amongst the vineyards and mountains. Just like Tuscany in Italy! The staff were most friendly and helpful. The wine maker treated us to a most interesting tour of the facility and gave us a very informative talk on the wine making process. Most appreciated.
Not sure, it was all good.
Location
Needs maintenance. Had electrical issues with power throughout evening. Arrived to apartment with messy space with tools left on our stoep en empty bottles of water with clean up staff leaving mess around our space
Manley is a boutique wine estate where you get to enjoy the peaceful tranquility of a wine farm where you truly feel part of the family. Markus , the owner, is hands on and always takes time to welcome guests and engage with them. The rooms had everything we didn’t even think we needed like a phenomenal natural mozzy spray and a beach bag with sarongs and towels for the pool. My highlight was the fireplace in the room, perfect way to end the day with a bottle of Manley Red. On Sunday they had live music which is far away enough from the rooms to not disturb you but absolutely worth it parking off on the lawn whilst watching the stunning views and enjoying a bottle of Manley Red. You are 3 min from town so close enough yet far enough to feel like you on a distant blissful farm. I can highly recommend staying here. It’s safe , tranquil , perfect location and is run by the owner and his incredible staff.
I loved everything except the fact that my stay was too short and that the beautiful Manley range they have on sale did not include the fabulous mosquito spray. Hopefully on my next visit they would have added it to their sale items ( hint hint ) :-)
Clean, comfortable rooms. Very helpful and friendly staff. We will definitely be visiting again!
The location was excellent and the staff were superb
The bathrooms need a little refurb, otherwise excellent
The Farm and premises are well maintained, nice old buildings with lots of history. The rooms are nice and spacious, staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was exceptional!
Nothing to complain about, everything was great!
Breakfast was very good.
Maley is located in a convenient place. The employees are wonderful - attentive and friendly. Shout out to Ria!
Previously we took the B & B option, this time around we opted to stay in the self-catering unit. The kitchen could have done with a microwave with an oven function or air fryer ...but that is nit-picking as I would get :)
There was nothing to like, as the cottage was definitely not cared for, and it did not matter what the guests required - the condition of the cottage was substandard, and definitely not welcoming.
Everything! We were told that the restaurant would be closed on Sunday, but not Monday and Tuesday. No service in the rooms, and the drains were all blocked, so it means that no one checked the facilities before our arrival. The kitchen bin was not emptied and under the stairs it was filthy. The dustpan and broom were "untouchable" as I would not touch anything that was so old, dirty, broken. We could not "cook" as there were inadequate facilities. (unsafe), and there was actually no place for two elderly people to sit comfortably to enjoy a meal. Nowhere to plug in chargers for phones/ipads - did not take my computer out! Tiles in the bathroom around the shower were broken/chipped. We met with the neighbours and their comments matched mine! Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay at Manleys, and would not recommend it to anyone. We also mentioned this at Ceres Zipline and I will be sending them a copy of this report. The dogs were a problem, and we did not venture out of the "cottage" unless we were getting into the car.
The enjoyed everything and are keen to go back in the future.
Reviewing on behalf of my in-laws. They had an absolutely fabulous time with zero complains they highly recommend!
Breakfast was awesome. Was so nice to sit down and watch the farm when having breakfast in the morning. We had a problem with plugs removed from rooms and they quickly sorted and brought us some extra stuff for mosquitos without us even asking
Liked it all
Property is in a great location which is quiet and in a beautiful setting. Breakfast is wonderful, but unfortunately there are no evening meals and so we went to the Tulbagh Heritage hotel, which again was wonderful.
large and comfortable room and bed great views onto the vineyards and mountains excellent breakfast and dinners, incl. the wines extremely friendly service in restaurant!
We enjoyed our short stay here but the rooms and bathroom could do with a bit of an update but apart from the we had a nice time. Breakfast isn't included but we had breakfast in the cafe and it was tasty and popular with outside guests. We sat on the veranda soaking up the beautiful views.
The breakfast was delicious, adding a delightful start to the day. The staff were friendly, ensuring every need was met. Set in a stunning, peaceful location, the surroundings exuded tranquility, making it the perfect retreat for relaxation.
Fantastic place to celebrate our wedding anniversary, the room was comfortable and the whole trip was extremely relaxing..the wine tasting was fantastic. Definitely recommend the Manley's Ubuntu Pinotage . Ebrahim and Ria were fantastic hosts
Loved the location, staff was lovely and helpful, having fireplace in the room was awesome!

Location, landscape, beautiful lawns
loved the scenery and that there was a reastaurant on the premises that we could just walk to.
The only thing was the pool was full of chemicals. so i couldnt really enjoy it, my daughter on the other hand didnt mind but i didnt let her spend too much time in there
We had a wonderful stay at the guest cottages! The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The setting is wonderfully peaceful, offering a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle. The room was impeccably clean, reflecting the property’s commitment to quality. One of the highlights was the onsite restaurant – the pizzas were fantastic! Each meal was a treat, and it was so convenient to have such high-quality dining right on the property. Overall, a perfect blend of relaxation, comfort, and great food.
