The staff are incredible, so polite and helpful. The room was spacious and beautiful. The property is so tranquil and full of character. I will most definitely be booking here for all future work trips to Durban.

Parking is a bit tricky but one of those things in an urban area.

L emplacement proche des plages, du centre, de Floride road. Un rapide tour en taxi et on y est Parkings un peu étroit mais tout y rentre

It’s beautiful,clean and quiet. The staff is so friendly and nice,especially Goodman,he goes the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your stay. They have good coffee and delicious breakfast. The bed was so comfortable.

Everything went well from the warm reception when we arrived until we left. It was excellent. the breakfast is nice and warm. I will go definitely go back. It is very close to the CBD and all the nice restaurants. It is just 5 minutes away from the Kings Park Stadium

The people were friendly. It is extremely visually beautiful . It is a family run business . The staff were happy . The breakfast so delicious I want to return . The bed was comfortable and there was everything I needed on sight . There were also many areas to sit . A number of living rooms and outside comfortable chairs and sun loungers

I honestly don’t even know where to begin — this hotel is absolutely stunning. It’s stylish, full of character, and has a truly unique charm that immediately wins you over. The rooms are beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, making you feel right at home from the very first moment. The entire staff is wonderfully friendly and attentive — they wouldn’t even let us carry our own luggage! And then there’s the host, a charming older gentleman who is an absolute delight. He joined us for a glass of wine on our first evening and enthusiastically shared stories about the region, giving us so many helpful tips and recommendations. It was the perfect welcome. They also took excellent care of our car, so we could completely switch off and never had to worry about its safety. All in all, this is one of those special places I would recommend to anyone without hesitation. A real gem!

The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. The breakfast was delicious and certainly didn't skimp. The bar and communal areas were well stocked and tidy.

The location is excellent. The ambiance is homely and welcoming, the garden seating areas are stunning and the room, with it's access to the tiny outdoor seating areas, is amazing. The breakfast, served on the terrace, was tasty and well presented.

The set up of the tea/coffee station in the room could be improved - along the lines of the welcoming Sherry tray. Fresh milk should be offered or supplied for coffee. Thank you

The staff were great! We were a group meeting up for a big school reunion, so there was a lot of laughter and bantering going on! The staff took it in their stride, they were amazing and attended to all our needs! I had an amazing few days at Goble Palms and would highly recommend it! I will definitely stay here again when I am in Durban

Beautiful colonial style decoration, a lot of thought and effort has gone into designing the hotel, there is so many lovely things to look at. Very clean and comfortable rooms, we had our own private courtyard that was so lovely. The honesty bar was great and breakfast very good.

There are a lot of steps as the hotel is at different levels. The area around the hotel is not the best but the security at the hotel and the hotel it's self make up for that.

Sehr nettes Personal und sehr nette Gastgeber. Außergewöhnliches Anwesen im historischen Stil. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns das Konzept, dass alle Räume inkl. der Bar frei zugänglich waren (wie zu Hause). Tolles Frühstück draußen auf der Veranda.

Leider ist die Einrichtung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, dies wird aber durch den sehr schönen Einrichtungsstil wettgemacht.

Восторг! В таком настоящем Английском Доме мы еще не жили! Прекрасные номера и ванные, обслуживание, бассейн, завтраки, приветственный напиток! Собственный дворик у номера, шикарные гостиные!

Всего 2 шезлонга у бассейна. Нам хватало, но вдруг еще кто то хотел? Океан и пляж в Дурбане никакой, надо было лететь на Маврикий из юар. Но есть что посмотреть и посетить около города. Сложно поменять наличные в городе.

A wonderful 1900 mansion hidden away in a quiet area surrounded by green. And it has a pool! Breakfast was opulent! Rooms nicely decorated.

Best overnight stay.Room was so cosy and comfortable. The site manager Goodman made us feel so welcome. He helped with our luggage to and from our vehicle. He ensured that we were comfortable throughout the stay. Kitchen staff was so friendly and accomadating.Breakfast was good .

Sehr liebevoll viktorianisch ausgestattetes Stadthotel mitten in einem gehobenen Wohnviertel. Von der Frühstücksterrasse hatte man sogar Meerblick. Parken auf dem Grundstück möglich, wäre aber auch auf der Straße gegangen. Super Service, alles top.

Die Unterkunft war insgesamt in Ordnung. Die Zimmer sind im eher alten Stil eingerichtet, was zwar seinen Charme hat, an einigen Stellen aber einen neuen Anstrich oder eine kleine Auffrischung vertragen könnte. Positiv hervorzuheben sind auf jeden Fall die Mitarbeiter – sie waren durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt okay, mit etwas Verbesserungspotenzial.

All the hotel staff were exceptional and Lionel, the owner, made it feel like I was staying with friends rather than a being a paying guest. The property is a wonderful old Durban house of which not many are left and the gardens/pool were very peaceful. Even with the monkeys flying around all over the place. Definitely beats modern hotels. Will definitely stay again if in Durban
