Spa pool was full of fern leaves, could be avoided with a proper cover on it. TV did not work in the room, so we got moved to a room where it did work. Second room had a broken light above one of the beds. Shower was broken and would only point at the wall. Pillows were lumpy and beds were not great. The entire place is in need of some TLC & maintenance to spruce it up. 1 teaspoon in a room for 4.

Spa was disgusting , there was a rugby team there partying all night and out of control, and another guests was verbally abusing them all at 2.30am because he had to get up for work , but no one in the hotel could sleep , so many rude , drunk inconsiderate people staying there. And no staff done anything.

Well first of all the room has no air conditioning and this is the middle of winter,bed was very uncomfortable pillows were uncomfortable too flat n cheap I presume with the amount of money we paid I was annoyed ,also the late house keeping was very strange 6.pm she also had 2 black eyes which was very worrying I hope shes alright ...

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026Location. Receptionist was just lovely and very helpful. She was cheerful and accommodating. Very close to everything. Great having tea, coffee etc.
To be fair I booked a bunkroom and it was cheap. Just really stuffy, noisy being on bottom floor near reception. Squeaky bunk beds. Bathroom fan incredibly noisy and roller door needs repair. Kept jamming closed coming off runners. Going forward I'll pay a bit extra and check reviews next time.

The bed was hard and uncomfortable, guests walking upstairs above us woke us up several times each night, and the spa was almost cold the first day, the second day it was semi warm but not hot like a normal spa temp.
