The atmosphere at Laguna was relaxing and beautifully maintained, and the staff worked seamlessly as a team. Every request was handled quickly and with a smile, which made me feel valued as a guest. The Apple crumble at porter house is not one of the best, it’s the best from all varieties tried on the menu. You must approach Marta. She was helpful and took care of everything.

Laguba taverna is a Great spot for a family dinner....on the beach with great staff. Gary and Kristen took care of our reservation and dinner splendidly

Visit! Eat! Take it in. Ask for Kunal and Asha. They took excellent care of us. Kudos to Kunal for suggesting some items off the menu and giving us a brief history about Moana. Kudos to Asha, made the whole service slick and seamless. Polite staff and very helpful. They have a wide spectrum of flavours in seafood and makes you wonder what is the speciality, when it actually is just the simple preparation and the freshness.

We had the most wonderful stay. What made this stay so special was the staff team. The level of care and attentiveness was second to none. I had arrived with a terrible cold and Shazad noticed and recommended a fresh ginger, lemon tea. It was so heartfelt and kind, I was genuinely taken aback and grateful. Ajilt was always kind, and welcoming. Nothing was ever too much. We really did feel looked after very well. Last of all Tepy was so sweet, she made us the best omelettes in the morning, it’s going to be a hard adjustment coming back with all the delicious food and variety. The room was super clean, and any thing you needed they had including a pharmacy. We genuinely had such a special and memorable stay that we will be back again. Thank you Sofitel.

We stayed at Sofitel The Palm Dubai and from the moment we arrived, it was clear this hotel truly understands hospitality. Our room was large, spacious, and absolutely perfect for the four of us—plenty of space to relax, unpack, and actually enjoy being together without feeling cramped, which is no small thing when travelling as a family. What really sets this hotel apart, though, is the service. In every single area of the hotel—housekeeping, restaurants, bars, reception—the service was consistently above expectations. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Every request was met with warmth, efficiency, and genuine care. Yes, the hotel is pricey, and the food and drinks do come with a noticeable markup. But honestly? If that’s what funds this level of service, then so be it. The value here is in how you’re treated. I even witnessed guests being blatantly rude to staff, yet the team remained polite, tolerant, respectful, and professional, continuing to meet those guests’ needs with smiles intact. That speaks volumes about the culture and training at this hotel. A very special mention goes to Demly, our housekeeping assistant. I genuinely looked forward to our daily interactions. He was warm, kind, and thoughtful—and the little towel animals he made for the kids each day were such a lovely touch and brought them so much joy. It’s those small, personal details that make a stay memorable. All in all, Sofitel The Palm delivers luxury not just through its setting and rooms, but through exceptional people. We left feeling looked after, relaxed, and already thinking about returning.

My room 2142 was very clean throughout our stay ,we had two young children 1 and 6 plus myself and my wife and it was spotless for the whole stay with waters and complimentary items restocked multiple times per day. The food at the hotel is very nice but if you have fussy eaters in your group this isn't the place. Overall this is a very nice hotel bit very expensive,trips and experiences are double the price of online version for the same experience.

Another wonderful stay at The Sofitel. As always the staff were all fantastic. Rahul and Jabeer especially were amazing with us and the children. But all the team in the premier lounge and indeed all the hotel staff were faultless. Great family friendly hotel with good facilities and great restaurants. I would highly recommend booking a suite on a half board basis. The premier lounge for breakfast and refreshments during the day is fantastic and the dine around menu in the restaurants is excellent. The suites are large and beautiful my only gripe being the artwork looks straight out of ikea and really cheap looking. My only other issue with the hotel is the design of the pool, it has a deep area in the middle which renders a large portion of the pool useless. It lakes the pool appear busier than it is because everyone has to congregate along the beach edges. I have stayed at the hotel 4 times and would highly recommend it for couples or families.

Rooms, restaurants, pool and service were all excellent. It’s now our favourite hotel in Dubai, and we will definitely revisit.

We're returning guests since many years. Over the years we're not only returning due to the sun or location but for the warmth, incredibly friendly and attentive staff. My special 'thank you' goes out to Tamsin from The Olivier's who each day prepared my favorite green smoothie directly delivered straight to the room.

Amazing beautiful resort, but what makes this the best experience is the service. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. They do a tremendous job, especially Shishir from housekeeping, he was the kindest and politest and truly made our stay 100x better.

Ashley in the kids club has been absolutely amazing !!! It was their favourite part of the holiday !!

Mesh at the Moana Restaurant was an exceptional staff member. We really enjoyed our meal and think that for a half board hotel option, it provides exceptional value. Highlights were the Dover Sole with Crab Bisque plus the kids sushi.

Fantastic week staying in an incredible hotel. The beach and grounds are all kept to a pristine standard and everything including the room was constantly cleaned to a professional finish, special shout out to to Kamal and Anil who always made sure our rooms were cleaned to that level. The restaurants are all incredible, personally our favourite was Moana, great seafood, special shout out to Umesh and Deepak for taking such good care of us. No road noise (and we stayed on the side of the hotel that faces the road). Cleanliness was all fantastic and the laundry service was excellent.

Everything was perfect. Summi/Dhiraj in premier Lange provided very good service. Definitely see u soon on next trip . Thanx

An absolutely fabulous stay on all counts: reception, front office, laundry, food, speed of service, resourcefulness and helpfulness beyond anything you expect or imagine! Laundry team helped me even fix a broken strap of my high hills sandals through the engineering team!! Left the fixed shoe in the room and didn’t charge for it, just helped out of the goodness of their hearts. They are magic!! And if you get a massage at their SPA - you will see heaven!:) Supun has the touch of an angel.

Had a fantastic experience at the Porter House. The food was excellent, but what really made the visit special was the service. Prabhat and Krishaia were absolutely brilliant — warm, friendly, and incredibly accommodating throughout our meal. They made us feel genuinely welcome and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. Exceptional service like this truly elevates the whole dining experience. Highly recommended!

I recently spent five wonderful days at Sofitel The Palm with my wife, including the New Year’s Eve celebration at Laguna — and once again, the experience was truly exceptional. I have stayed at this hotel several times before and have always left extremely satisfied. But this visit was special, and I would like to personally thank several members of the team who helped make our stay unforgettable. At Laguna Beach Restaurant, my sincere thanks to Vipin, Marco (Assistant Manager) and Artemis (the new Manager at Laguna) for their warm hospitality and attentive service. At Porterhouse, many thanks to Binoy (Manager and Crêpe Suzette expert!) and Tek — we enjoyed a wonderful dinner, including a perfectly prepared Tomahawk that we truly appreciated. For breakfast at the Premier Lounge, thank you to Elena (Manager) for the friendly welcome every morning — the Eggs Benedict were especially lovely. A big thank-you as well to the Culinary team — Executive Chef Daniel and his brigade, and Chef Akshay (Executive Pastry Chef) — for the consistently delicious cuisine and beautiful presentations. Our gratitude also goes to Subash, our butler, for his kindness, availability, and thoughtful assistance throughout our stay. And finally, sincere appreciation to Antonio, Hotel Manager, for leading such a professional and attentive team. The New Year’s Eve celebration at Laguna was outstanding — excellent dinner, champagne, a wonderful concert, and spectacular fireworks. A night to remember. The resort is beautiful, extremely family-friendly, and the temperatures are perfect. What truly makes Sofitel The Palm stand out is the exceptional service. The staff greet you every day with a genuine smile and are always ready to help nothing is ever too much to ask. A special thank you to Kasun, Madushan, Yasith and Mosaraf. The Palm Dubai, the location is fabulous. Although traffic is tricky until past the Atlantas when driving out on the Palm, the position is well worth it. The view, beach side is so pretty and iconic. The Rooms are large, very comfortable and incredibly clean. Aminul our HouseKeeper went above and beyond during our stay. The room was presented and maintained beautifully. Well done Aminul, I am forever grateful. The Sofitel although on the higher end of our budget, was well worth every single cent. The staff across the entire resort were professional, polished, friendly and sensitive to guests needs. A wonderful holiday and an amazing New Year’s celebration into 2026! Well done ACCOR…. Happy to sing this hotel’s praises!

We had a wonderful evening meal at Moana, the food and service was excellent, our server Umesh Khatri was exceptionally professional and friendly, he made our evening perfect. We will most definitely be back. Thank you Moana for a fabulous evening.

We enjoyed our family stay with ur both sons 11mo and 4yrs. We had a seaview junior suit which fit best for our family size and needs. The team here did an extraordinary jop regarding hospitality and satisfy our needs. Especially we want to thank Elena, Rahul and the whole team from the premier lounge and Dennis for his help with the laguage. Always excellent! We will definitely come again (for our 7th time)))

We had a faultless 10 night stay at Sofitel Dubai The Palm over Christmas where we experienced first class customer service and outstanding hospitality. It really was a wonderful stay in a spacious 2 bed apartment room 7202 which overlooked the kids club & kids pool. We dined at ALL of the restaurants and were always greeted with a smile and sampled delicious food. Drinks were reasonably priced and the ice cream pop ups were a nice treat. Some staff that really stood out were Sejawit & Simran at buffet breakfast; Vijayan and his towel/canbana team; Ruffa at Hong Loong always went above and beyond; Navdeep’s suggestions at Zoya/Maui were good; Jaypee and Rizwan were always fun and had positive vibes as the doormen; Adel at concierge was very reliable; Elena managed the Premier Lounge with excellence and Sharon at guest relations was a superstar who helped us organise surprise celebrations for my twin daughters celebrating their 16th birthday! Lots of other workers too. Thank you all so much. The only minor issue was at Replay bar when Aushan covered his colleague’s break and offered me a free shot of vodka whilst I was watching football BUT when he left, his colleague charged me and suggested Aushan should not have said it was free. I paid but they need to communicate better in that sports bar! On the whole, 10/10 with great location, pools, restaurants and high quality levels of customer service. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying on The Palm.

A beautiful beachfront hotel with stunning interiors and immaculately maintained grounds. The food was verygood. The hotel was impeccably clean and the staff in the Premier Lounge where we always received a very warm, personal, and professional welcome, truly made our holiday special. They remembered our favourite seat, chosen drinks, and every interaction was friendly, thoughtful, and personal. The manager and all staff are an absolute class act and deserve all the praise. Our junior suite was beautiful and kept spotlessly clean by Aminul, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable - remembering exactly how we liked things, including our favourite coffee, pillows, toiletries and so many other thoughtful personal touches. I have stayed at all of the luxury hotels along Palm and many in Dubai, this site shows as a 5 star hotel but the service offering is way below standards. The people is what makes the hotel. I have never come across so many moody and miserable staff, hardly anyone acknowledges you with a Good Morning, Hello etx. The bell boys at front act like a gang from India and start talking in own languages amongst selfs when you ask them questions. Rooms are OK. Food quality ok ish but the chefs are a disgrace. Wouldn't hire any of them at a 5 star property. Prakesh is the only decent staff working in the restaurant and is levels above this poorly run joint. Gym is nice, spacious but dirty. Swimming pools, plenty BUT scandalous that not heated - its a disgrace! During our stay when temperatures are 21, 22, 23 you must have pool temp between 30 - 32. The fact that hardly anyone using pool from midday, isn't that a massive red flag to management? When raised with lifeguards who would rather sit sneakily on mobiles, they say the pool temperatures will not be increasing from 28degrees as senior management get angry with costs! That was a common answer. In my honest view this hotel is at best 3 STARs and way too much improvement needed starting with staff attentiveness, attention, attitudes and behaviours.

We got a ober named nour manava, he was very nice to us and brought everything that we want. A real person that you need in your restaurant

The cleaners aminul and ranjith are amazing giving us personalised decor on our beds every morning and evening of our stay. Our room was kept beautiful throughout the whole stay and we will definitely be coming back. Aminul was wonderful and attentive and he worked incredibly hard to make us feel very special.

Friendly and prompt service. Room well cleaned and serviced by Amenul twice a day. I enjoyed staying in the room and won't hesitate to return.

Our stay experience in Sofitel Dubai the palm was wonderful, but to make it even more special and memorable by vinayak we have to thank him for always keeping our room clean. We were with the kids, and they would make the room Massey . But whenever we returned, we would find our room clean. he is kind, humble very polite and very respectful about everything Thankyou so much for making our stay very memorable

The stay at the Sofitel is great so far. The housekeeping anggg has been so attentive and helpful whilst we have been here.he has made sure through our stay we are comfortable. He had seen that I had done some of the kids washing and placed them on the chairs outside and given us a maiden to use to dry the clothes. He has also checked we are okay and to see if we need anything else. All the house keepers have been great. Thank you for making our stay lovely and relaxing

This was our eighth stay at Sofitel The Palm in just two and a half years, and it continues to be a place we return to because of the people. The resort is beautiful, but the warmth and professionalism of the staff are what truly make each visit special. A special thank you to Naveed for the warm welcome and escort to our room, and to Eva from Guest Relations for the thoughtful touches that always make us feel valued. The Premier Lounge team are outstanding — Elena (Manager) and Rahul (Supervisor), along with Joseph, Justin, Akash, Zia, Jabeer, Tharutia, ChiChi, Myat, and Dirja, consistently go above and beyond. Our heartfelt thanks to Wilbert, Hong Loong Manager, who welcomes us like family. As his kabayan, I am incredibly proud of him. Warm thanks as well to Ruffa, James, Sherman, Sandy, Chef Diego, and the rest of the Hong Loong team for the wonderful food and service. Exceptional hospitality every time — we always leave looking forward to our next return in March 2026.
