Reviewed Sep 14, 2026The room is really big, comfy and clean. The reception staff was friendly too. We checked in and realised there was a smell in the room and the staff brought us air fresheners promptly.
There was a lingering smell of cooking in the air and we couldn’t clear it. We only stayed a night so we bore with it.

The best part was the amazing views from every window, it was absolutely spectacular. Highly recommend staying here, location was great and so many beautiful walks and scenery in the area.
The shower cubicle had a roof on it, got very steamy and hot and when opening the door for air to come in you couldnt redirect the shower head to not spray out on the floor. A minor detail though and we absolutely loved our stay and hope to be back one day.

The property is spacious, beautifully insulated against the cold, and features super comfortable beds. The built-in spa was perfect for relaxing after a long hike, and the in-house washer and dryer made family travel incredibly easy. We loved everything about it!

Reviewed Jun 24, 2026We loved staying at Aoraki Court Motel. Laundry is easy accessible (for a family of 5, this is a big one while travelling) Staff were incredibly friendly and made great suggestion. We walked to the Hooker Valley car park and then did the walk itself (2nd bridge still closer) and back. We ended up doing 9.77km and then my husband and our 12 year old sun ended up doing the Red Tarns hike (recommended from staff) and it was incredible. The location was phenomenal, the views from our 2 bedroom (number 10) was unreal. Heaters worked well, facilities where amazing - we brought all our food so no needed to search for food as Mt Cook area is quite remote. We stayed for 2 nights and felt it was the perfect time! Also the playground across from this motel was awesome for the kids to burn extra energy!

Die Betten sind wahnsinnig weich.

The staff Chinese lady was very strict and not considerate. I had requested late check out for another 30 minutes to pack my bags, the Chinese lady refused to give the late check out.
