Location.

Look you pay for what you get. Water was murky when first turned on. Fridge/freezer was small. Nice to be able to watch Netflix, parking was great. Everything is outdated.

Clean and comfortable and close to the city.

If you can upgrade a little as nicer rooms.

Nothing at all. The reception from the start did not make a great first impression. Although the location suited our purpose, it was not what we would have expected in terms of vibe and comfort.

The facilities are very dated. The bathroom is appalling. The toilet was not secured to the floor and brown water was leaking out from the edges. The shower was also poor and did not feel safe to stand in. The water flowing through the whole system was very noisy. When other residents in other rooms used the facilities, you could hear a knocking noise from the water pipes which would happen at anytime throughout the night. The decor is cheap and nasty with little or no thought given to the way in which the room is decorated or presented.

The location was awesome, and the price was perfect.

For my 5 grandchildren daughter and I Alpha met our needs at a very reasonable price. Lounge bedroom area was adequate with a queen and a single. There was a bedroom fitted with 3 single beds. Electric blankets were not used. Adequately sized bathroom. Enough dining chairs for us all at a medium sized table. We used the stove top, oven and microwave during our 2 night stay. The jug and 2 slice toaster used for brekky. Close to supermarkets and shops. Heater in lounge and used the oil fin heater for bedroom. Loads of hot water for our showers and washing dishes. Parking in as free range but we weren't worried car was not right outside but nearby.

It's a budget motel so we knew what we were getting but it certainly met the needs of a large family needing accomodation for two nights at a very reasonable price. In fact we will be coming back there when next visiting Palmy

Dirty, bird poo all around doorway, floors all marked and dirty, holes in carpet, mouldy windows, soap scum in shower, white kitchen chairs look black and dirty. Maybe been an emergency housing or very little money spent on upkeep Noise level - party upstairs kept the kids awake. Young fella's having a party and stomping around

It was awesome that there was housekeeping to do the dishes as we had to get out very early in the morning. Thank you for that.

The kitchen appliances need upgrading. Only one of the stove top coils worked. The plug in the basin does not keep the water in so it was hard to wash the dishes.

The people in other rooms were so loud, the café next door was very loud very early in the morning, and the beds were so hard

The amount of beds the room accommodated.

One park per room. The single bed in Queenstown lounge area is hard as rocks. Like the springs have gone on it. My elderly mother wasn’t impressed but we popped her on another single an she was fine. Also the floors were filthy, clumps of hair on floor and also black mold in the bedroom. Maybe cleaners could do there job proper. Maybe add an air vent above the oven/stove top as when we were cooking the walls were dripping with water. Other than that was a great stay!! Town in walking distance was very convenient.

Opened 1 of the milk pottles and it was off had a thick slim to it returned and was given another didn't touch them again

Fantastic place. Good size and plenty of beds for our family of 7. Great communication and organised for us to check in later. We stayed in the Auckland room and the paintings on the wall were a really nice touch. Really quiet too - barely heard any noise from other rooms.The heaters were great and everyone stayed very warm. Would absolutely recommend.

Nothing to stop us staying again. This place is a standard motel style accommodation a little dated but still kept up really nicely.

The experience with staff was very disappointing and the cleaning was abysmal, they left dirty dishes in the bathroom vanity. I have never had such a bad experience.

Unfortunately there was an unruly and noisy group staying at the same time as us, no fault of the motel but the group woke us late at night and took a long time to settle.
