Hacienda Motor Lodge

Eveything 4 clean and comfortable beds

The beds make 4 a good sleep

Checked in and wasn’t to what we expected for we had paid and checked out

For what we had paid was not up to scratch

We were allowed a late check out

Clean, modern, warm and comfortable, walking distance to town and some restaurants. Easy off street parking, lovely hot shower and spa bath.

Rooms are dark but however for travel purposes perfect.

Great service and was super friendly and quick. Close to restaurants and CBD at a great rate. Will stay again for sure.

Location close walk to town

The property a little worn but very clean and tidy

Space of the room And comfortable Very quiet

The highlight was the spa bath. Room was warm and clean. Absolutely comfortable.

The staff are amazing, very friendly helpful and accommodating. Room was clean, had everything that you needed and the beds are comfy.

Lovely service upon arrival. Exceeded my expectations! Rooms very clean and perfect for a little family. Equiped with everything you need basically. Great location too. Definitely will be booking again when in Palmerston North next.

Lydia was exceptoinal. Would give this place 20 out 10. Can't recomened it enough. I have stayed here before, never disappoints us.

Absolutely nothing to say here

Great stay! Thank you!

The most comfortable motel beds ever. And such lovely people.

Central location

A warm welcome, a clean and comfortable room and very helpful staff.

Absolutely wonderful location walking to the inner town easy!

It was just perfect👍

My first encounter with the receptionist was very warm, and welcoming. Can't beat a place where they make you feel comfortable. Our accommodation was really clean and tidy, plenty parking space, and price was great for 6 people.

Nothing

Clean and staff were excellent. Heating was on fir when we arrived

No electric blankets

It was spacious, clean and parking was very convenient. The location was excellent for what I needed and near a prominent landmark which made it super easy to find

Lovely people, clean rooms, had everything we needed. Warm and cozy in the colder days! We really liked the location too - short stroll to the centre and plenty of good restaurants near by.

Very affordable and the location was spot on. The owner was very nice and accomodating. Our room was spacious, beds were super comfy and the room was nice and cozy.

We loved everything about our stay.

Although reception was unmanned at the time I arrived and left, the staff were excellent ringing me in advance of my arrival to let me know where to find the key, and turning the heat pump on to heat the room.

There was a lot of noise coming through from the adjoining room, with the guests staying in there carrying on until after 11pm.

Very clean and tidy. Close to everything.

Damp condensation in bathroom area no teal ventilation Questionable ceilings , old stucco or possible asbestos Parking an issue every night y

Photos on website look better than rooms. Old and dated and needs a make over. Asbestos ceilings. Hellishly expensive for what it was. Dipping gutters.

Beds were large and comfortable.

Need curtain on door

Poor internet connection

Cute, reasonable size. Heat pump was and was cosy. The bed was comfy.

The price for 1 night The tap for spa bath doesn’t work but managed to fill with shower

Stairs were all very dirty as in rain we can slip and fall down

Friendliness and cleanliness! Great distance to restaurants in town.

Staff were very friendly and eager to help. Every request made were met with a smile.

Lydia is lovely and very accommodating!

Friendly accommodating staff, had teh heat pump on before we areivei

Very clean, great facility very close to central city.

Loved the great location! Room itself was really comfortable with everything you need for a family. The unit we stayed in had two toilets which was really handy! The kids were also really happy in the giant bed in their room.

If you've got young children just beware that the stairs going upstairs are very steep and you would benefit from bringing a baby gate for at the top! The couches were good, but not super comfortable.

Very clean and tidy. Excellent communication (we arrived late but it was not a problem, very accommodating).

So hospitable, such friendly and lovely service and the room was lovely - warm, quiet, comfortable and everything you needed. Shower was excellent and the kitchenette was perfect. Such a lovely stay and so close to everything we needed in Palmy for the night. Our host (didn't catch her name) was SO lovely and when our flight was cancelled let us store our stuff with no trouble.

Nothing. No notes!

Super comfortable bed, nice pillows, very spacious room with couch, coffee machine, bottled water in fridge, welcoming hosts. They even had room warm for my arrival.

Nothing really. It looks a little dated but all the bed linen is fresh and crisp and kitchen well stocked.

Clean Smelt nice Staff so friendly Shampoo etc was a good product

Clean, great location, comfy bed

Room is a little bit dark during the day

The location of the hotel was close to all amenities but still quiet to feel not so close.

Not aplicable

Everything was good... greeted with smiles and very nice owners ....thanks for the chocolate Great room..spa bath lovely My go to hotel...

I have nothing to say here all good

Clean and comfortable

Friendly and well run

Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, great spa and great amenities.

Perhaps having heated towel rails would be good to dry towels in winter.

Lydia and her team! Spacious and quiet too!

Nothing I can think of

The Host and Hostess were very welcoming, friendly, attentive and helpful. The rooms were clean, tidy and serviced each day. Bathroom facilities were great.

The heat pump unit outside the bathroom window, was really noisy and vibrated. The room shook. The light above the kitchen facilities was set by the back wall and the shelf holding the microwave hid the light from the bottom shelf making it hard to see when making coffee etc.

Great location and cleaning to a high standard. Very warm and beds were wonderfully comfortable. Owners Lydia and husband very hospitable and helpful.

Decor a bit dated for the cost and could do with a refresh. Wifi not compatible with Apple phones but kind owners were able to find a workaround after an initial delay of a couple hours as we needed it for work.

Great service.

I saw the reviews and liked what I saw so decided to book here while working. It was so clean, having a coffee machine was awesome.. super quiet! Really enjoyed my stay and I would come back here. Its not often I give a motel a 10 score but in this case it was deserved.

positive attitude

nothing

This is the second time we have stayed at Hacienda as it is convenient central location, quiet and has a comfortable bed and good selection of pillows.

The rooms are a tiny bit tired (could do with a paint touch up in places) but everything else is very good.

Motel was exactly as described. Lovely and clean and they even upgraded my daughter who was graduating! Thank you

I suppose an EV charger we could use would be a bonus for the future.

Great location, close to eateries. Comfy bed and great kitchen appliances.

Shower drain was not draining well and had clearly not been cleaned out from last guests. No outside door light (that I could find) apart from ambient pathway lighting.

The room had everything we needed and had a good ambience.

Everything was okay.

Very comfortable bed nice clean

Shower pressure not good. Had wash dishes in bowl not much room in kitchen.Huge chair in room for one only was too big to get around.
