We love the room set-up for our 35th anniversary with a "I love You" balloon on the seat, many red round balloons and a cleverly decorated heart shape centre piece on the bed with rose petals. The fruits in the fruit basket were carefully selected which was perfect for diabetes. There was a handwritten and decorated card too. Many thanks to Noel from Welcome Experience Team. We truly felt welcomed. Met Catherine, Carmen and Theresa at front desk. They were warm, friendly and helpful. Decided to go to SAMTOM on 19th floor for our dinner since there was no reservation for us to enjoy the Hainan Flavours as confirmed by their staff Zora. Lui Lui Mei from SAMTOM gave us full attention and the food was excellent and creative in presentation. We enjoyed our dinner very much. Next morning, we went to Kitchen Table on level 2, only the Chef greeted us "Good morning" with a smile. At departure, Bell Min helped us to book a Grab, loaded our luggage for us and advise us about the fare and travel duration to airport.

There was no one to assist us with our 3 luggage, 1 handheld and 1 backpack. I was walking with a walking stick. One male staff in black uniform walked passed us without extending a helping hand. We struggled to the front desk which has 4 counters. We stood in the centre (not knowing where to go) till Catherine called us to register. She was pleasant. As no one showed us to the room, we struggled with all the switches in the room for some time. At 8.30am, we went for our breakfast which was a disappointment. There were about 10 service staff but none greeted us nor offer a smile. They were busy and efficient in clearing the tables. Surprisingly only the Chef greeted us with a smile. Some years ago, I had stayed at the W in New York and it was really a WOW experience but sadly, I cant find it here.

Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Service was great.

Not as convenient for shopping, but lots of shopping options a quick Didi ride away.

The assistant manager Holan and his assistant Clark were the most exceptionally helpful staff members i have ever met, they went over and above in assisting me with everything from communicating with clients to organising by boat trip back to HK, exceptional young men.

Todo perfecto en el hotel, sin duda repetiría. Especial mención para Vincent (Conserje del Hotel) nos ayudó con restaurantes y preguntas de sitios turísticos y también para Clark Huang (el Jefe de Recepción) que nos ayudó con el check-out porque volvíamos unos días después y dejamos maletas en el hotel.

Quizás el desayuno de los niños un poco caro, casi 30 euros cada uno. A plantear hacer algo en cuanto a esto.

الموقع : جميل جدا قريب من المطاعم والمقاهي العربية النظيفة، المول يبعد عشر دقايق بالسياره و 13 دقيقه مشي ( الطقس هو اللي يتحكم) يوجد مكان صراف عملات ولكن سعره أغلى بحدود 15 ريال لكل 100 دولار يوجد بجانب الفندق شقق فندقية تتبع لنفس الفندق ، أتوقع تكون افضل للعائلات لتجنب تأخير استرداد الدفعة المقدمة الفندق يقبل الكاش 400 دولار تقريبا الموظف كلارك Clark واحد من اهم عناصر الفندق ولديه حل لكل تحدي تواجهه يتكلم اللغة الإنجليزية ويعمل حتى في ايام إجازته بالجوال ( شخص رائع وإضافة كبيرة للفندق)

Staying at W Guangzhou they kindly upgrade to an Executive Suite. I arrived at the hotel at 3 p.m. and found out the room wasn't ready because it was still occupied by the previous elite. We were asked to wait until around 6 p.m. However, we were also given a late check-out period the following day, until 4 p.m. At W Guangzhou, Titanium Elites receive a free upgrade, free late check-out, free lounge access, and a free breakfast as a welcome gift. Since I was bringing a child, my child received a burger bag with the W logo. While I waited, I was invited to enjoy the lounge, which is open from 12:30 to 9:30 p.m. During regular hours, the lounge only serves soft drinks and snacks like cookies, nuts, and candy. Since the room wasn't ready, we enjoyed the happy hour at 5:30 p.m. It was quite tasty but the menu could be better. It's still something to be thankful for, as it's rare for W hotels to have a lounge. The menu: 1. Various alcoholic beverages, nachos, crackers, sushi, cheese, various cakes, pudding, buns, 2. Salad, fruit, wraps, sausage, calamary, fried milk rolls The executive suite was finally ready. The foyer had two paths: the left to the bedroom, and the right to the living room. The living room had a powder room with a washbasin and a toilet with a heated electric seat. The marble floor gave it a luxurious feel. The living room had a minibar, a comfortable work desk and chair, and a long, carpeted sofa with plenty of seats, making it very comfortable for relaxing. The W Hotel in Guangzhou lacked the unique or eccentric feel of a typical W hotel, but the luxury was still evident. The bedroom had a king-size bed, but it seemed to be only 180x200 instead of 200x200. There was an armchair with an ottoman, which was comfortable for relaxing, and a baby crib was provided. The room was more masculine and didn't quite convey the W brand. The bathroom had a separate closet and bathtub/shower. A double vanity sink is provided in the master bathroom, while an additional sink is provided in the closet. The bathroom actually looks more luxurious with its marble-topped bathroom, stylish bathtub with TV, and unique showerhead. The amenities are standard W hotel Momo. Facilities include an indoor pool, gym, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. The location is close to the Canton Tower, making it convenient for sightseeing. Breakfast is served at the kitchen table. As usual at any W hotel, the breakfast is plentiful and comprehensive, and the taste is always delicious. The menu: 1. Egg station, stew, dim sum, noodle station, porridge, Cantonese boat porridge, egg tart 2. Onde-onde, cakue, hakau, miso soup, hot and sour soup, beans, curry potatoes, tomatoes 3. Mushrooms, chicken, hash browns, bacon, sausage, vegetables, noodles, fried rice, salad 4. Gluten-free food, Greek yogurt, fruit, chilled and fresh juice, yogurt, lychee 5. Cereal, nuts, cheese, cold cuts, waffles, black sesame buns, pancakes, pastries, bread

The property is situated in the best location. What I loved the most about the property was one of the staff members that made my stay exceptional. Clark Huang went above and beyond from the start. He is one of the most amazing staff I ever met in my life. He has exceptional communication skills and anticipated all my needs. I traveled alone with a baby which was challenging. He helped me with all aspects, he made me feel welcomed, safe and at home at the W. He made sure my room had all amenities and that I was comfortable. He did everything to make my stay exceptional. He helped me with some challenging situations I encountered and supported me with my son. He spent time to make sure my issue was sorted and followed up with me every day. He represents the highest level of hospitality with his caring and elegant approach. He is the best ambassador for the W hotel as he has an exceptional sense of service. He takes amazing pride to his work and genuinely care. I extended my stay because of his level of service. I will also come back in September. I recommended the W to my friends that travel with kids thanks to him

I had an excellent stay at this hotel in Guangzhou. The property is modern, clean, and conveniently located, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. A special thank you to Clark Huang, who was exceptionally helpful, professional, and kind throughout my stay. He went above and beyond to assist us with every request and always did so with a warm smile. His outstanding hospitality truly made our experience memorable. Employees like Clark are a real asset to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Guangzhou and would gladly stay here again in the future.

Last stayed here 3 years ago and didn’t get upgraded upon check in despite my ambassador status. This time i played safe and applied the NUA beforehand The suite is large and pleasant enough. Unlike a lot of hotels around the world these days, plenty of toiletries, and the marvis toothpaste is a plus Breakfast was good and wrote a seperate review Gym is smallish but ok. Like many parts of the hotel i took pictures of the gym. Had a bad experience when the gym trainer was rude. Pool is indoors but nice with high ceiling and large windows 9/10

A wonderful stay at a long weekend at W Guangzhou. W always my preferred hotel due the vibe and friendly hotel staffs. For this stay, W wowed me again with that excellent services. We ask executive lounge staff, Jessica to assist in booking a restaurant that we would like to go. She did provided whatever whenever attitude that made our trip wonderful. Definitely highly appreciate Jessica and her team and definitely will try to visit W Guangzhou again soon. Andrew

I had a wonderful 6 nights stay at W. I am very impressed with the service staff who are extremely helpful and professional especially Alex from the concierge. He has gone out of his way to assist me and make my stay extremely pleasant. I highly recommend W Guangzhou hotel for those looking for a good hotel for their vacation. Congratulations to the whole crew for a very attentive and exceptional service. Stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Startered with a bad taxi experience at the airport but they made it up after arriving. A beautiful hotel with great service.

Stayed at W Guangzhou during Canton Fair and had a great experience overall. We had a small mix-up with our booked room on arrival, but the team handled it exceptionally well and resolved it quickly. Their response really set the tone for the stay and showed a strong commitment to guest experience. Special Thanks to Holan for looking after us. The room we ended up in was spacious, modern and very comfortable, with great city views. Breakfast was also a highlight with a wide selection, and the location in Tianhe made it easy to get around. What stood out most was the service — professional, proactive and genuinely focused on making the stay enjoyable. Overall, a strong luxury stay and a great example of how a hotel should handle things when plans don’t go perfectly.

I had a fantastic stay at W Guangzhou and was really impressed overall. The service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout. The room was stylish, spacious, and very well maintained, with great attention to detail. The housekeeping staff do a great job refreshing the room everyday. A special mention to Carmen, the lounge manager, whose hospitality and attentiveness made the lounge experience stand out. Also, credit to the duty manager for resolving a minor issue quickly and professionally. A couple of areas for improvement: the club next door lined up pestering guests walking past to visit their club, which really detracts from the upscale feel. The breakfast buffet, is decent but could really go with more variety —especially given Guangzhou’s reputation as a foodie heaven. Overall, still a great stay, and I’d happily return.

Room is spacious and well maintained. For breakfast they have a variety of selection. Staff are helpful and polite.

Hotel is great, location is perfect and very convenient. Hotel installations are a bit worn out now, I have been there a few years now and you can see some things as toilet or carpet in not so good shape. But despite that its a still a great option in Guangzhou. Breakfast is very good and service its great.

I had a very good stay at W Guangzhou to celebrate my wives birthday. They prepared decorations, cake and wine for us. Special thanks to Matano Chen who made us feel welcome and well taken care of. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and friendly attitude truly made my stay memorable.

Great location. You could almost call your rain shower a ‘hail shower’. Meant as a compliment. I’ve never experienced such great water pressure in a hotel.

The pool and spa were great, but they disappointed me a bit compared to the Grand Hyatt.

Nicely appointed, great rooms and locations in China are good value. Contemporary decor, comfortable and the recipe for a good night’s sleep!
