The room was excellent with excellent en-suit facilities, just a small staircase and straight into the bar area. The evening meal was on the outside terrace ( very hot weather at the time) and was exceptional. The breakfast we had was full English and was very enjoyable. This was our second stay and we would definitively stay again.

It’s a great pub with a nice welcome. Food is great both evening meal and breakfast. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Staff are lovely. And there were fans in our room that were perfect for a good nights sleep!!!!!

Lots of easy parking. Rooms were beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. Staff were very efficient, attentive and friendly. Evening meal was excellent with a varied menu and fabulous Butcher's Block steaks. Breakfast was a little limited (no self service buffet) but what we ordered as excellent.

Beautiful venue with great staff . Everyone of them had a smile or their faces and seemed eager to assist us in any way.

My only issue was the WiFi connection to the television in our room was awful and we couldn’t connect to any of the apps until I connect my own phones WiFi to the tv.

Within touching distance of the train station. Beautiful location for walks and to visit Albury, Albury vineyards, Chilworth Manor and The Silent Pool Distillery. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Big thank you to Lana who looked after us brilliantly on the Friday (she was off on the Saturday). Our bedroom was cleaned everyday and was comfortable and spacious. Really liked the complimentary bottles of water and Nespresso Machine and pods. Breakfast was just enough and we liked that we could choose the style of coffee we had eg flat white, cappuccino etc. We ate in the restaurant (on their beautiful outdoor terrace) and boy do they know how to cook a steak! Outstanding cuts of meat. The owners really care about ensuring you have a good time. We enjoyed it so much that we have already recommended it up our friends and family!

Nothing apart from the scorching heat wave meant that the rooms were unbearable to sleep in. Even though the property had done everything they could by providing 2 fans.

A beautiful hotel, restaurant, pub, indoors and outdoors with a grilling area and a huge play zone for kids, a destination in itself for a full day out. If additionally a room is required for the night, the most exquisite rooms are available with quality furnishings and modern spotless bathrooms. The owners and staff were so friendly and accommodating during our stay, even preparing for a delicious breakfast for us, outside normal hours. I could go on but let me just say, a first class place to stay out to visit, highly recommended.

Location was excellent. Bang opposite the rail station and bus stop for Guildford. Staff were friendly and efficient. The room was sizeable amd had everything I needed.

The breakfast was very average. Not a lot of it i.e. very small quantities.

Very spacious and unique room. Bath included in the main room with seperate shower/toilet etc. Vaulted ceiling was impressive. Food excellent including breakfast.

What an amazing find. Way above expectations. We were greeted as we arrived and shown to our room. It was lovely. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate and the shower spacious with excellent water pressure. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The cocktails were fantastic. We stayed for 2 nights bed and breakfast as we were attending a nearby wedding. Our taxi was ordered for us and a number given to call for our return journey. We most definitely want to return. Having seen the mouth watering food being served we need to return to sample some of it.

I loved everything about this place. Staff, food, setting, fixtures and fittings, atmosphere, ample parking, huge comfortable clean and quiet rooms.

A bit expensive. My pet hate is a rainfall shower. In this case shower was excessively powerful and seemingly no way to reduce the flow. Pumps out loads of cold water before you can get hot water. And it dripped all night.

We arrived early and had a delicious lunch out in the garden. Only negative was that we weren't given the option of the 2 course lunch deal. We were surprised at the size of the place given the roadside frontage. We came back from our day out and had a selection of the starters for dinner, again very tasty. The staff were very engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. Our room overlooked the road so we had to keep the windows closed but a useful fan was provided. We had eggs benedict and the eggs and smoked salmon for breakfast both of which were excellent. We will definitely recommend this pub with rooms and will hopefully be back soon.

Nice room, very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good value and the staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurant and bar is reasonably priced but we realised after leaving that we were overcharged for a meal for four.

Great breakfast, comfy bed, well decorated room and good access to surrounding areas. We also enjoyed the Sunday carvery which was very reasonably priced, large portion sizes and high quality food. Would certainly recommend The Percy Arms.

Ein alter Dorf-Inn in Chilworth, etwa eine Autoviertelstunde von Guildford (außer am Freitagnachmittag, da ist alles verstopft, entsprechend länger dauert es dann). Lage ziemlich ruhig, gelegentlich braust ein Zug vorbei, und Autos fahren natürlich auch. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Großes, verwinkeltes Zimmer mit recht großem Badezimmer. Alles etwas altertümlich, aber das ist ja nicht überraschend, und es ist trotzdem gut. Könnte sein, dass es im Sommer bei großer Wärme unangenehm im Zimmer wird. Wir waren an einem ziemlich warmen Tag da, da ging es noch. Mehr wäre aber auch unangenehm gewesen. Im Pub/Restaurant haben wir gut gegessen und gefrühstückt; man sitzt auf einer schönen Terrasse mit Blick ins Grüne.

Apropos Frühstück: Was man möchte, ist am Vorabend zu bestellen. Das gefällt nicht allen; uns hat es nicht gestört. Wir hatten gefragt, ob wir etwas früher als 9 Uhr frühstücken könnten (das Angebot war auf dem Bestellzettel vermerkt); man hat sich dann auf 8.45 Uhr eingelassen, allerdings haben wir bis zum eigentlichen Frühstück dann doch auch fast eine halbe Stunde am Tisch gewartet. Nicht wild, aber auch nicht optimal.

The hotel is situated across from the train station, so it is easy to get into Guildford. There is a parking lot free for guests. The room was charming, there was even a window seat, and the bathroom had plenty of space to put your toiletries. We ate in the restaurant, both dinner and breakfast. Everything was good. Staff also very kind.

My partner lost his wallet there, which is still a mystery, but I can't blame the hotel.

Staff were excellent. The food was good but fairly expensive. Breakfast was different as everything was ordered off a menu. There were no buffet options, which is unusual these days. The whole hotel/pub had a South African flavour which was really nice

Radiators in the bedroom didn't work.

It's not often I give anywhere such high scores because so few places deserve it, but the Percy Arms is a notable exception. We stayed only one night at the Percy Arms to attend a dinner event at the Silent Pool gin distillery, but will definitely return because it has so much to offer. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and looked after. The staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble, and the owner is chatty and friendly. We genuinely felt like valued guests - not just another couple paying to sleep in a room. I would 100% recommend the Percy Arms to anyone wanting to explore the Surrey Hills area and local villages.

Possibly the only minor irritation for my wife was the poor light level in the bathroom as the illuminated mirror doesn't work (we forgot to mention it), but it's a small detail.

A variety of rooms, we used all 5 for a small group celebration. Rooms are comfortably furnished and well appointed. Great beds ensure a good nights rest.

Excellent parking. Excellent and friendly staff on arrival. A big nice room and bathroom. Big built in wardrobe with only TWO hangers and one shelf, (no draws) Bedding clean and fresh, comfortable bed. Poor lighting in bathroom, mirror light not working and a bulb not working. Pre-order breakfast the night before.... Breakfast was good quality but not much of it ie 1 bacon, 2 eggs, ¾ of a mushroom, 1 sausage, beans, and ½ of tomato.

Shower water could have been warmer. Breakfast from 7.00am would have suited me more as working locally with an 8.00am start made a 7.39am breakfast a bit of a rush.

The room was outstanding, especially with the very luxurious free standing bath. The food was excellent. The sharing board of South African delights was delicious and very filling, but lovely trying authentic food. The steak as a main wowed us!

The room was lovely, the bathroom was lovely and it was quiet and warm. The staff were amazing after a difficult start due to a car problem (of you need to cancel, you will need to take it up with booking.com and don't believe the first reply you receive from booking.com saying the vendor has refused - this wasn't the case at all and I'm now disappointed in booking.com!)... The breakfast was great, we would have preferred 8am start over 9am at weekends. We really enjoyed a gorgeous walk around vineyards and farm animals exploring the Surrey hills at 7am instead!

The menu for dinner wasn't quite to our needs unfortunately, but that didn't matter as we went out exploring and found an amazing American/western themed restaurant!

Quaint Inn in a small English village, good access to tourist attractions. Awesome staff. Marius and Jess at bar were always friendly and helpful . Aryana our housekeeper was fabulous and Alfie was a great host who accommodated our every need .

Although it was warm when I arrived the radiator went cold around 10pm and didn’t come on again until around 8.15am. The temperature in the room dropped v quickly and I was cold during the night. It is an old building and probably doesn’t have good insulation.
