Luca, the owner, lovely guy, was very helpful and thoughtful. Gave us loads of advice on where to go/what to see. Would highly recommend. Restaurant top quality. Shout out to Silvio! Paul & Paola.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Lo styling e l’arredamento piuttosto moderno, la posizione con terrazza con vista lago mozzafiato, buona la scelta di brioches e torte a colazione.
La porta della camera che è molto rumorosa all’apertura. Inoltre consiglio dei piccoli interventi di manutenzione allo scarico del WC che spesso continua a far scorrere acqua, e alle ante del box doccia che non sono allineate e si chiudono solo nella parte superiore mentre rimangono un po’ aperte nella parte inferiore facendo fuoriuscire acqua mentre si fa la doccia.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Great cute hotel perfect for a long weekend stay. We had the room with a very large terrace looking over the lake directly across to the site. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was fantastic.
The door was a little dodgy and did not always close properly, so that needed double checking. Also it's a little difficult to talk to the village if you want to go on foot as there's no footpath (but that's not the hotel's fault).

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Abbiamo soggiornato in questa bellissima struttura per due notti e le cose che ci sono piaciute molto sono state: la vista, sia dalla camera sulla statua di San Carlo Borromeo, sia dal ristorante sul Maggiore. Altri punti di forza sono stati sicuramente la camera molto ampia e ben arredata con il bagno che disponeva di tutti i comfort, il ristorante, la qualità del cibo e lo staff molto cordiale e disponibile. Assolutamente consigliato!

Une boîte de nuit extérieure à 30m pour des rdv de jeunes. Musique assourdissante de 18h à 23h15. Impossible de dîner tranquillement sur la terrasse de l hôtel ou de pouvoir parler normalement.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Aussicht von der hauseigenen Terrasse einmalig. Wir konnten das Frühstück und das Abendessen dort genießen. Da wir bei unserem Aufenthalt Temperaturen über 30 Grad hatten war die Klimaanlage auf dem Zimmer sehr angenehm.
Das Frühstück war typisch italienisch mit Kuchen und viel Süßem. Es gab auch ein paar Scheiben Käse und Salami am Buffet. Die Auswahl hätte etwas größer sein können.

ארוחת בוקר טעונת שיפור רב,דלה ביותר,אפילו סלט לא היה ושום מבחר,הלחם היה יבש ולא טרי,לא היו ביצים ,ממש אכזבה ! המזרנים שוקעים וקמנו עם כאב גב,,הזמנו זוג פלוס שניים וקיבלנו חדר זוגי עם מיטה נוספת שצמצם מאוד את המרחב הקטן,וחדר ליחיד בקומה נפרדת ,למחרת סידרו שני חדרים באותה הקומה אך רחוקים זה מזה,מאוד לא אהבנו את הסידור הזה

Wifi and AC (super hot right now) worked great. The dinner was exceptionally good and very creative. Each staff person was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a place to which we'd like to return!

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026Zimmer mit traumhafter Aussicht, viele interessante Gebäude und Sehenswürdigkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, sehr ruhige Lage und trotzdem ist man in wenigen Minuten in der Stadt und am See Frühstück bietet für jeden etwas ohne total überladen zu sein.

Öffnung Restaurant erst um 20:00 Uhr. Für uns als Erwachsene wäre dies ok , mit Kindern ist es etwas spät. Das Essen war sehr gut!

Klimaanlage zu Laut. Lift beängstige Geräusche. Fernseher nur Italienische Sender. Müllabfuhr um 5.20 am Morgen. Frühstück erst um 8.00. Kein Restaurant , mussten auswärtig essen gehen! 1 Mann Betrieb.

The hotel next door was playing music all night so we couldn’t use the terrace as it was horribly loud. The base basically just kept shaking the room which after a long drive wasn’t what we needed !!’ It went off about midnight. Air con wouldn’t go below 25 so the room was hot with no air as we couldn’t open a window due to noise.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026Allein die Aussicht auf den Lago Maggiore war positiv. Die Bewertung "fabelhaft" k9nnen wir nicht verstehen.
Die Entfernung zur Stadt Arona und dadurch schlechte Erreichbarkeit war leider nicht sher schön. Es gab keinen shuddle o.ä. und die Taxipreises kein Schnäppchen..Der letzte Bus nach San Carlo fuhr schon kurz vor 19 Uhr. Am Hotel gab nur enge und wenig Parkplätze, keinen Pool, keine Liegen oder Schattenplätze im Garten. Das Frühstück war nicht gut. Getränke müsste man ständig anfordern,da es keine Automaten gab. Die Butter, die Wurst- und Käseplatte waren ungekühlt...bei über 30°. Es gab keine Brötchenauswahl, sondern nur teilweise hartes, getrocknetes Baguette. Eine kleine Obstauswahl war vorhanden aber es gab gar kein Gemüse. Es gab nur eine Sorte Knuspermüsli und nach Milch musste man fragen. Aufgrund der hohen Temperaturen zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthaltes konnten wir uns leider im Hotel nicht wirklich wohlfühlen. Schade, das Hotel ist eben nur für Durchreisende mit ein oder zwei Übernachtungen geeignet.

Si vous voulez une vue sur le lac, il faudra ajouter 30€ à votre facture... Mais nous n'avons pas jugé utile de le faire pour seulement une nuit. Nous nous sommes contentés d'admirer l'immense colosse par notre fenêtre.

Nulla da dire. Potrei fare solo un appunto che non c'è una convezione nel ristorante per i clienti dell' hotel.

In bagno sono presenti dei comodi dispenser di bagnoschiuma, shampoo e sapone per le mani; inoltre è presente un phon ben funzionante. I cani sono accettati e ben accolti in tutta la struttura. Bellissima vista dalle varie terrazze dell'hotel.
Una potenziale difficoltà per chi ha cani: l'hotel dà direttamente su una strada collinare senza marciapiedi e arrivare al primo spazio erboso (di fianco alla chiesa di San Carlo Borromeo) può essere difficoltoso. Per chi dorme solo con buio totale: portate una mascherina perchè le tende coprono abbastanza bene ma dai lati potrebbe filtrare un po' di luce.

Les chambres ne sont pas bien isolées phoniquement.

Reviewed May 5, 2026Very personable staff, excellent restaurant at the hotel, the suite had a perfect view over Lago Maggiore. Very comfortable 2 night stay. A short drive from MPX! Great place to wind down and heal from long flights and jet lag.
