Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Room was spacious, well equiped, clean, smelling good, breakfast very diverse and tasty. There are couple parking slots under hotel, or exactly as you exit from it in the back (a quite big public parking) and we always found space. Hotel stuff very friendly and paying special attention to our requests. We recommend the hotel.

A bit out dated, only offer breakfast, no lunch or dinner options. Would like to also have been able to order à la carte breakfast options (ie, fried eggs or onlette).

Personnel à l'accueil un peu dépassé et exténué qui fait que vous attendez longtemps pour le check in même si vous avez fait le fast check in. Beaucoup de bruit jusqu'à 5 heures du matin pour la rev party de la fête de ste Marie-Madeleine mais c'était exceptionnel et toute la vie a trinqué.

Ouvir-se o barulho de dentro do hotel, dada a localização do quarto muito perto da entrada, e da rua, nomeadamente do estacionamento, localizado mesmo por baixo do quarto.

Het is geen 4-ster hotel maar keurig 3 sterren. Check-in duurde enorm lang, kamers werden pas om 17 uur schoongemaakt, ontbijtbuffet rommelig en weinig verse producten. Als iets op is dan wordt het niet bijgevuld (yoghurt)

Reviewed Apr 1, 2026Location, 5 minutes walk to ferry terminal, 15 minutes by car to airport, many nice restaurants in walking distance, gorgeous views across to Horta / Faial, breakfast was good, beds were good and comfortable, free and easy parking, room and bathroom clean, fresh towels and good selection of soap, etc. Not a living room but excellent price performance for the typical sightseeing visitor. Pico is an amazing place and this hotel makes it very easy and enjoyable to experience everything.
The room as just big enough- ok, but not overwhelming. Opening breakfast at 7:30 sharp is tough when one has to catch an early flight. We understand that it is not worthwhile to start breakfast earlier just because a few have to leave early. Just an idea. Put one of the three coffee machines and some cake into the hallway / lobby right before the breakfast room and everyone is happy. A small user guide on how to operate the AC / heater would also be helpful, because the labels on the remote are not self-explanatory - even for a technic nerd. Finding out how to use it by trial and error is possible but takes a lot of time. Room had a bathtub - no shower, which requires climbing in / out of the tub every day.

Reviewed Mar 9, 2026Great location. The room was very comfortable and it had a nice big bathroom. Good breakfast with lots of selection. Good restaurants in walking distance. Most of all excellent value for the money.
At breakfast there was a strong floral odour in the air which might have been coming from a cleaning cart left right by the coffee machine. So off-putting and so unnecessary these days. Eco cleaners are effective without the overpowering scent.

A iluminação com lâmpadas brancas no quarto não é aconchegante. Nos dias em que estivemos hospedados o restaurante não estava funcionando à noite

Alguma dificuldade no estacionamento de uma viatura de grandes dimensões.

Reviewed Nov 17, 2025Die Lage war sehr gut. Direkt am Fähranleger. Restaurants waren fußläufig zu erreichen. Da wir in der Nebensaison da waren, war das Hotel nicht so voll und sehr angenehm. Wir hatten unser Zimmer im 3. Stock mit seitlichen Meerblick.
Teilweise merkt man dass das Hotel schon etwas älter ist.
