The Lewinnick Lodge

The view from our room was to die for. The headland and then the ocean- next stop America! Breakfast was lovely , and as it was warm we ate outside. A greedy seagull stole our toast but thankfully it was replaced immediately.

The only slight quibble was the hot water ran out in the evening.

Booked a room with partial sea view. The sea view was extremely limited as 75% of my room was towards the parking. The cars were constantly on the go and were extremely noisy due to the sound of gravel in the parking. Had extremely disturbed sleep on both nights.

Location

Just the sound of the ocean banging against the rocks, the sunsets, the little hikes around by the cliffs. The hotel being super dog friendly. Both dinner and breakfast were terrific. The service people and staff were so friendly. Free EV charging. The shower and huge rooms.

Very little to dislike. If we're being nitpicky: internet was a little slow, TV was on the small side (only compared to the huge size of the room).

Room 10 which we stayed in was over the kitchen with 2 very large extractors which are on until midnight and then back on at 6 in the morning making our room smell like a chip shop and room very stuffy unable to open windows because of the noisy smelly fans. They are have deliveries right under our room crates being dragged and noisy lorries. We told the receptionist but was told next time we stay we can get an upgrade think it’s disgusting the amount of money we paid for our room.

Stunning location, absolutely amazing views. We had a super relaxing stay, which was just what we needed. Food was really lovely too. Shout out to host Helen, who was lovely and very welcoming. Finn is a little gem, who is a true credit to the Lodge snd definitely someone who stands out. We had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful location, very friendly staff, beautiful room and bathroom. Good breakfast options and the staff were very accommodating to provide more options as requested. Fantastic stay overall !

The only small negative point was that the car park was very noisy and you could hear every car arriving or departing from the rooms above the car park

We've been coming to the restaurant here for many years and always wanted to stay over. We took the plunge and weren't disappointed. The room was fantastic. Very well equipped and extremely comfortable. The sea view was even better, spectacular!. The staff were fantastic. Helen was looking after us and she couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended.

Wonderful location on the bluff, fun, beautifully kept hotel with a great restaurant overlooking the sea. Truly lovely staff.

Too many dogs in the bar area. Not sure why they were offering a £5 voucher if they didn't clean the room. We cleaned the room ourselves.

Superb location at the end of the road, no noise from passing traffic, just the distant sound of the waves finding the rocky shoreline below.

The location is perfect and the staff are lovely. Good quality ingredients, well cooked breakfast.

The food is good pub grub, not fine dining as one might expect from a 'restaurant with rooms' description. Views are fab with your fish and chips though!

A truly superb hotel with an absolutely stunning location. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the food is excellent. What stood out the most, however, was the service and the location. We arrived after 9 PM, when reception was already closed, but the restaurant manager (I believe his name was Damian) went above and beyond. He not only checked us in but personally walked us to our room to make sure we didn’t get lost, even though the restaurant was very busy at dinner time. This level of care was genuinely impressive and very much appreciated. The next day, at check out, I met a wonderful lady at reception, Helen, who was extremely friendly and gave us great recommendations for places to visit in the area. Overall, an exceptional experience thanks to the incredible staff and the beautiful location. Would definitely stay again.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt und das beste Zimmer im Hotel mit Blick auf das Wasser. Das Essen war lecker und wir haben den typischen Cream Tea mit fresh Cottage Cream jeden Abend genossen. Es war ein wundervoller Aufenthalt.

Super großes Zimmer mit riesigem Fenster mit Ausblick auf's Meer 😊. Etwas hochpreisiger - doch für eine Nacht für uns ok. Lage super um Wanderungen in der Nähe zu machen. Sehr freundliche und lustige Damen an der Rezeption. Parkplatz inklusive. Frühstück (àla carte) und Abendessen auch sehr lecker. Badewanne und extra Dusche vorhanden.

Aus der Dusche kam teilweise nur kaltes Wasser - zum Glück gab es die heiße Badewanne 😉

Lage, Lage , Lage!! Unglaublich toll. Direkt an der Klippe. Mega Aussicht. Umfangreiches landestypisches Frühstücksangebot. Extrem dekorativ und ansprechend serviert. Angebot a la carte. Wünsche wurde umgehend umgesetzt. Sehr nette Empfangsmitarbeiterinnen.

Location is excellent. Beautiful sea view and sunset. Staff are exceptionally friendly, nice & warm to both humans & dogs. Food is very tasty also.

Due to the excellent location & friendly staff, the hotel sometimes can become too noisy especially if your hotel room is facing the carpark where patrons are speaking & laughing loudly going for their cars at 11.30pm when the bar shuts.

Everything was incredible. The staff are incredibly friendly, kind and attentive. The hotel room is so clean and beautiful and the scenery is incredible.

The location is stunning, Such a beautiful spot with stunning views from our room. The food and cocktails were really tasty and the staff couldn't have been more friendly.

One window in the bedroom could not be fully covered so the light comes in at dawn.

This was our 6th stay. We love it here , location & rooms are fantastic

Prices are creeping up but then again so is all of Cornwall and we did come for Easter bank holiday weekend

We liked the location, the king bed was comfortable, and the room and bathroom were very clean. Staff were very pleasant and we enjoyed the restaurant. It was nice to not have to drive for dinner. Good menu and drinks. Breakfast was very good with nice selection of dishes. Also lovely views from dining room and terraces.

Looking at the pictures on the website it would appear we stayed at a different hotel. I think we booked the only room left, a headland double. Be advised that this means you look at a hill and the parking lot. We had only one low to the ground chair. There was only one night stand with no outlet near by and the side of the bed with the outlet had no nightstand or even shelf to put anything on. No luggage racks were available. There are two small ceiling lights but not over the mirror in the bedroom, so if you dry your hair you can’t see what you are doing as it is quite dark. Same for bathroom, light over sink put you in shadow. Only 2 hooks in the bathroom to hang anything including towels. But the room did have a green light in the ceiling for, I am guessing, the smoke detector, which lit up the room all night so a night light certainly wasn’t necessary. I would stay here again, but only in an ocean view room.

Einzigartige Lage mit Meeres -und Küstenblick. Konnten sogar eine Robbe entdecken. Gute Küche und tolle Essplätze auf Terrasse und im Restaurant. Schöne Einrichtung und hochwertige Möbel.

Dusche hat manchmal nach Abfluss gerochen.
