Für ein Spa Hotel fanden wir den Saunabereich ziemlich klein. Für den Ruheraum musste man zwei Etagen hochfahren.

The staff was lovely and helpful. Food was excellent and a very clean hotel.

Great room with a balcony to make the most of the superb view. Excellent breakfast, but no kippers/poached haddock option.

I think the lift could be updated. We were happy to use the stairs, but I'm sure there will be other guests less able.

The carpark is actually awful, I understand it is going to be tight with the amount of people staying but spaces are tight and unfortunately my vehicle is damaged due to someone scraping me to the tight spaces!

We had an economy room and for the price we paid we certainly weren’t going to complain, but it was a little rough around the edges in the room and very noisy with deliveries beeping outside the room at 4:30am and noise from the outside area below the window.

Everything! The location was so good and the view from our room was stunning. Our room was light and a great size and very comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent and the hotel facilities were great. The staff were amazing - every single one of them was friendly and helpful and always had time for everyone. We loved our stay

The only one thing that would have been nice would have been having our bedding and towels renewed half way through our stay. We were there for 7 nights so fresh sheets and towels half way would have been good

Very nice hotel at great location. Super clean and calm hotel room. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. The restaurant is really good and is offering gluten free options. The breakfast was great! We'd love to come back!!! All in all the perfect hotel close to Fistral beach. Thank you for the amazing service!

The parking is for free after registration but the parking area is quite narrow and they run out of available parking lots quite quckily. Nevertheless, it is for free what is great!

Every member of staff we interacted with was absolutely lovely, the levels of customer service at this hotel are really outstanding. Similarly, the food in the restaurant, both for dinner and breakfast, was excellent, far better than you would expect for a relatively small hotel. The location is literally perfect, with amazing views of the beach (from some rooms but from all of the public areas of the hotel), which is only a few minutes walk away. It should be noted that Newquay itself is a bit a longer walk (around 20-25 minutes) but not particularly ardous and walking along the back of the beach makes it pretty easy (although it can be dark when coming back at night).

Some of the design element s in the rooms was a little tired, especially when you consider the price (>£200 a night) and is in need of an update. Similarly, there were some areas (window frames for example) that needed a good clean, even accepting that the damp sea air makes things harder.

Das Zimmer mit Blick auf die Abluftrohre (Küche oder Wellnessbereich) war unglaublich schlecht. Das Zimmer war viel zu teuer für das was es bot. Da das Hotel ausgebucht war und wir das Zimmer nicht wechseln konnten, sind wir 2 Tage früher abgereist. Das Wellness ist in die Jahre gekommen. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, das Personal sehr freundlich und das Frühstück und Abendessen sehr gut.

Das Preis - Leistung Verhältnis für ein Zimmer mit Blick auf Abluftrohre war schlecht.

Room was spotless, view and location were great.

Great location, easy walk into Newquay town centre and right on Fistral beach. The staff were really friendly and helpful, free use of the spa was a huge bonus and overall we were really comfortable.

Our room was on the back of the hotel overlooking the yard and overlooked by some adjacent flats. Shower window only had a frosted sheet, no curtain and felt a little exposed to neighbours views.

VIEW FROM THE ROOM WAS SUPERB AS WAS THE STAFF. BREAKFAST WAS ALSO VERY GOOD

Really great location and the views are beautiful from breakfast, the bar and there's also additional outside seating. the room was really comfortable. Things were clean, comfortable bed and a great breakfast too.

The bathroom could have been more modern and luxurious (e.g. shower curtain felt a bit aged). The wifi was a little bit disappointing, it didn't connect well from our room.

The staff were very friendly and informative. The location was fabulous and we really enjoyed the spa facilities.

They advertise having EV changers, but the spaces for charging are the same spaces used for reserved parking, so they are constantly full with non EVs making charging impossible.

The view was the best thing.

The location wasn't what I expected. Also the parking was inadequate for the numbers of guests. We had to use taxis to go into Newquay because if we used our car there was a strong probability that we would not have a car parking space on our return.

Most of the staff were amazing . Jesus was amazing along with TY in the restraunt. View from the room was amazing. Breakfast was lovely and again amazing service. Restaurant food was lovely .

Parking was tight . Jesus sorted our parking and put our name on a bay (pre booked ) really nice guy . only for the receptionist to remove it and let someone else park in it . Not good. Pillows not comfortable(like Rock) Room ok not amazing. Superior with balcony. Downstairs lovely . Rooms could do with new carpet and a refurb.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating. The views were stunning. The bar food was delicious, with a good variety of vegetarian options although the portions were a little on the smaller side. There was also a great range of cocktails.

The singular lift was quite small and slow and staying on the top floor meant a lot of steps! Parking was a bit difficult, there were a lot fewer spaces than there were rooms meaning we were worried about leaving Newquay or getting back too late for fear of losing a park space. We did find out once we arrived that you can pay to reserve a space but they were already booked up for the period of our stay. The rooms did not have Aircon, but they did provide fans. Breakfast is not buffet style, you need to choose a time you will head to the restaurant for breakfast and order from a set menu - however the food was great and the staff were really friendly.

Only had one disappointment and that was the coffee. We do appreciate a good coffee and the breakfast coffee from the machines was mostly a bit watery -not much flavour. I would have preferred a cafetière or have a big filter coffee on the go

Die Lage war sehr abseits, Restaurants waren fußläufig, schlecht erreichbar, nach Tagesausflüge, sehr schwierig. Ohne Auto eher nicht zu empfehlen, ein Bus fährt nur alle 2 Stunden.

Breakfast was great ! Good selection of everything, I would just add cheese slices and potentially ham to the continental buffet but that's just my personal preference for breakfasts.

The room was smaller and less fancy than we expected but that's because we didn't know what they looked like and next time we will book 3rd floor which was amazing.

The hotel was in good position with great views. It is comfortable, cosy and quietly accommodating. The staff are brilliant; helpful, professional and thoughtful. It runs like a well oiled machine. There is plenty of choices from the breakfast bar and a choice of cooked food to be ordered.

My only comment would be towards the cooked food. It was portion controlled (which was a good thing) but you had to be aware of asking for the exact amount you required. The meals, including the bar food, were a little unimaginative and definitely not consistent eg. A mushroom pizza one evening was luscious with lots of topping, and two nights later the same pizza was very dry, over-baked with very little topping. The scrambled egg also changed appearance daily.

Booking.com reservation meant we missed out on £170 saving if we booked with the hotel itself. Really poor.

Dinner excellent, breakfast good and location good.

The beds were not very comfortable, the duvet was only acceptable for the winter, not blazing hot summer days, pillows not great, woke up with a bad neck.

Water in the shower was very hot and it was impossible to make it colder. Also would be great to have a drying rack in the room to be able to put the things on from after the beach.

The building is looking a little tired and in need of updating and modernising. Whilst the room was okay, for a hotel in this price bracket I would expect more; a better and larger tv, USB charging sockets, a heated bathroom mirror to name few! The parking is a lottery - I paid £15 per night for reserved parking, but got nothing of the sort. Even the allocated parking spaces were 'first come, first served' and extracting your car from the extremely tight spaces required considerable manoeuvring! Whilst the bedrooms were clean and well kept, the cleaning and maintenance regime in public areas leaves a lot to be desired. Grubby window sills, peeling paintwork, weeds....

Looking a bit tired here and there particularly the spa and air conditioning in the rooms would be an asset.

The room was very spacious and clean, bed was very comfortable, the sea view from the room was good, the facilities in the room was spot on everything we needed, break was good plenty of options to choose from.

Let people know there is a £50 per person deposit rather than drop it on them when they arrive, it was no problem for us but could cause issues if they are budgeting their stay.

The Bar staff were fantastic and sorted out every need. They even knew my room number and kept the drinks flowing. The restaurant staff were also fab. Spa was excellent

On the positive side, the breakfast area and lobby have a beautiful view overlooking the beach, which is a great feature of the hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay.

The hotel has limited parking availability, and parking spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. As we arrived late in the evening, we had difficulty finding a secure parking space. The spa facilities seemed quite expensive, and as we did not feel we would get good value for money, we decided not to use them. The hotel is also located quite far from the town centre. The room was very basic, and considering the warm weather, having an air conditioning system would significantly improve comfort. The breakfast was also quite basic and, unfortunately, not particularly tasty. Although our booking included breakfast, an additional charge of £55 for two people was taken from our debit card. This amount was refunded when we checked out, but it would have been better if this had been explained clearly beforehand.

The pool was nice food was awesome as where the very polite staff 😃

The room was so hot no air conditioning just a fan that blew hot air around and the smallest window with baby seagulls underneath screaming all night no way of cooling the room down at all 30+ degrees

Unser Zimmer mit Meerblick war recht sauber und gross und die Aussicht super.

Restaurants ausserhalb des Hotels sind alle etwas weiter entfernt. Man muss mindestens 15 - 20 Minuten Fussmarsch einplanen, was aber dann auch wieder ein guter Verdauungsspaziergang ist. Aber dafür ist das Hotel gleich überhalb des Fistral Beach.

One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. We were in room 301. The bath with the ocean view was just phenomenal.

A slight damp smell but normal considering it was right on the beach.

I have stayed several times at Fistral beach hotel. The location is lovely overlooking the sea and the staff are very helpful.
