Aloft by Marriott Miami - Brickell

Le hall de l'hôtel est joliment décoré. La chambre est spacieuse, confortable et bien équipée. Le personnel est sympathique. L'emplacement est pratique pour se rendre à l'aéroport en métro. Le petit déjeuner est très bon (mais ce n'est pas un buffet, il y a le choix entre plusieurs formules sucrées ou salées). Bagagerie gratuite qui nous a permis de laisser les valises toute la journée à l'hôtel (notre avion décollait en soirée) La piscine a l'air sympa mais on n'a pas eu le temps de l'essayer.

La clim est vraiment trop forte à la réception.

Do anúncio ser um pouco enganoso, falando que tem café da manha. até tem mas nem perto de cafe da manha de hotel. O valor da garagem é mto alto tbm, descontaram 1 valor do cartao que desconhecemos e ainda nao retornaram nos falando do que é esse valor.

I am writing to formally express my disappointment with my recent stay at Aloft Miami – Brickell and to request that this matter be escalated to the General Manager and Marriott Guest Relations. I arrived at the hotel at approximately 10:30 AM with my entire family. I understood that the standard check-in time was 3:00 PM, and I was willing to pay an additional fee if necessary to have our rooms available early. I was therefore very disappointed when, even after the standard 3:00 PM check-in time had passed, our rooms were still not ready. At approximately 4:40 PM, we were still waiting for the two rooms I had reserved for my family. Waiting several hours after arriving at the hotel with my family was extremely frustrating and created a very poor first impression. I made every effort to work with the hotel and was even willing to pay extra for the convenience of an early check-in, yet the experience was still poorly managed. Unfortunately, the problems continued after we finally received our room. The bathtub would not drain properly, making it difficult and unpleasant to use the bathroom. A basic maintenance issue such as a bathtub that does not drain should have been identified and corrected before the room was assigned to a guest. This further raises concerns about the property's room inspection and quality-control process. I am a frequent Marriott customer and regularly stay at Marriott properties for both business and personal travel. I have chosen Marriott because I have historically trusted the brand to provide a consistent level of service, cleanliness, and quality. Unfortunately, this stay at Aloft Miami – Brickell fell significantly short of those expectations. This was a family trip, and instead of starting our vacation comfortably, we spent a significant amount of time waiting for our rooms and then encountered a basic maintenance problem once we were finally able to settle in.

Disappointing experience — not worth the price Unfortunately, this hotel was not what we expected, especially considering the price and the location. We felt that it was overpriced for what it offers. The hotel advertises a shuttle service, but we were disappointed to find out that the shuttle is not free. In fact, the cost of the shuttle was even more expensive than taking an Uber, which made the service feel misleading. Overall, we expected much more for the price we paid. There are probably better options available for the same or even less money.

Very spacious and my wife enjoyed the deep tub

Me gusto el trato y la disponibilidad de solucionar cualquier problema. Las habitaciones están bien y además nos dejaron varios detalles en la habitación. Al entrar tienes gratis agua con limón que se agradece, café, infusiones…

El ruido, tuvimos que dormir con tapones y pedir cambio de habitación ya que nos tocó el último piso y teníamos las máquinas de los aires arriba y laterales. La siguiente habitación daba hacia atrás y hay muchas maquinarias de aires acondicionados de otro hotel de alado y por las noches durmiendo con tapones.

Me senti enganado em relação ao café da manhã. Na discrição do hotel constava café da manhã incluso, e , na verdade, o hotel oferece apenas um pedido de sanduíche por hóspede. Sem ovos, sem pão, apenas um sanduíche por hóspede. Realmente deixou a desejar.

Dość głośna klimatyzacja w pokoju, monotonne śniadania wybierane z listy. Nie można płacić gotówką za pobyt ani dokonywać płatności zbliżeniowych telefonem. Musi być fizyczna karta płatnicza. Twierdzili, że o tym informowali, ale pośród tych maili śmieci łatwo przeoczyć. To oczywiście drobnostki. Hotel jest ok, zwłaszcza za tą cenę.

The shower was small and had a slide door that touched the sink, making it difficult to move. The water pressure was also too low, making it impossible to wash my hair properly.

2 girls from the staff on probably from night shift were very rude. One of them claims to be a manager but they clearly didn’t wana listen their customer. Different room was alocated even after paying for room with balcony. Manager asked for extra money to pay to change the room. Staff is really the one very bad. Bedsheets were with yellow stain on it. Staff refused to change upon requesting for a new Bedsheet.

La ubicación estaba muy buena, la habitación era cómoda con lo necesario para descansar después de un día de turismo. Cuando ya supimos por insistencia cómo funcionaba el desayuno, el desayuno estaba muy rico, valía totalmente la pena

Una recepcionista que le faltaba comunicación, se le consultó del desayuno y sólo dijo “es en esta área”, no explicó que el desayuno consistía en escoger una de las opciones del menú que tienen en la parte arriba de la pared, entonces nos perdimos el primer día no desayunamos bien y vimos a más de una persona que estaba igual que nosotros por falta de que nos explicaran

The room was large and it had a balcony and the AC was great.

The balcony faced other balconies. The lighting was terrible, the bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were pretty flat and there were no extra pillows in the room.

Good location for me near to shopping mall and metro stop. SO SO good have USB sockets at the bedsides and some many on the desk!!! Friendly and helpful staff - 24x7 hours front desk is so useful!! Thank you

More lighting in the sitting area please - natural sun light will not reach in the evening and door way light is not enough. Put a floor light will be useful, as ceiling is not possible/ structure change

Se escuchaba todo el sonido del pasillo y de las habitaciones contiguas, me despertaron un par de veces en medio de la noche. La oferta de desayuno bastante regular, no había opción de pedir huevos revueltos, la máquina estaba mala, las opciones eran bastante limitadas, solo se podía escoger un producto de panadería o una fruta como complemento. No hicieron aseo el día que no dejamos letrero de no molestar

Todo. La ubicación es inmejorable, en Brickell te sientes super tranquilo, seguro y con mucho comercio cerca. La piscina es genial, dispones incluso de toallas para poder secarte. La habitación que cogimos fue la grande y fue increible, muchísimo espacio, limpia y comoda. El servicio fue super atento y amable, reservamos con muy poco margen de tiempo y nos dieron todas las facilidades del mundo. Disponen de una tiendecita dentro del hotel pero tiene parte de microondas para que puedas calentarte lo que quieras y de uso autónomo. El café, limonada y agua caliente son gratis, la verdad, es genial. Las instalaciones son preciosas. Disponen también de un ordenador por si lo necesitases y servicio de guarda equipaje. Si volvemos a Miami, sé que volveré a escoger este hotel 😊

The hotel smelled old and felt muggy the entire stay, even with the A/C running. The ac was outdated and would only make the room either freezing cold or muggy. The room also had only one small window, which made it feel utilitarian. It was uncomfortable enough that I considered leaving. Breakfast was also disappointing. The ordering process wasn’t explained clearly by the staff, and the choices were unhealthy. The biggest inconvenience was requiring a physical credit card at check-in. This is Miami in 2026, why not accept Apple Pay? I stayed at another Marriott the next day and checked in through the app without needing to present a physical card.

The room was spacious enough. The bed was quite large and comfortable. The location was very central. Breakfast was good.

The parking fee could have been more reasonable for guests, but having valet service was a nice touch.

I have to write an amazing review for Wilson. I didn’t stay here but I dropped my wallet right in front the hotel and someone turned it in, and then Wilson from the Valet gave it to me, I want to write this recommendation for him and He is a very amazing member of the team God bless him and all of you thank you.

A személyzet nagyon kedves, a szoba tágas, az ágy kényelmes, puha. Van vasaló, hajszárító, hűtő, piperecikkek, kilátás. A reggeli nagyon finom, főleg a melegen elkészítettek. Minden nap cserélik a törölközőket. Tömegközlekedéssel könnyen elérhető, a közelben található egy Publix szupermarket.

Az erkélyen jó lenne egy kis ruhaszárító csipesszel. Szemben építkezés folyik, így napközben nagy a zaj. A reggelinél lehetne bővebb a választék.

Taking $300 deposit on my credit card for a prepaid room was not fair. My stay was only 4 nights. Also the room was not serviced. There is system or note on when it gets serviced.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Aloft hotel, and while the location was great, conveniently close to Brickell city center and train stations, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, what truly made this experience special was the people. We were celebrating my dad’s 80th birthday with our family, including 14 elderly relatives, many of whom speak little to no English. The staff went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for. I had asked if they could place an “80” balloon in my dad’s room, and they surprised us by decorating the entire room with balloons, ribbons, snacks, and thoughtful touches that made him feel incredibly special. Throughout our stay, the team showed so much patience, kindness, and generosity. They helped us with everything we needed, from providing umbrellas and power adapters to offering bottles of champagne and a room where our whole family could gather to celebrate with cake. Every request was met with warmth and professionalism. What we will remember most is not just the hotel itself, but the people who made such an important family moment feel easy, joyful, and meaningful. We are deeply grateful to the entire staff for helping us celebrate my father’s milestone birthday in such a thoughtful way.

This hotel sits in a borderline location and feels drab. It is overpriced. Yet it is clean and my room was spacious. It feels disorganized and the lobby is in disarray. It is not a business hotel or a family hotel. I think it has a "new economy" niche. Feels a lot like a co-working/co-living space. Breakfast is basic. Amenities are basic yet there are small bright spots like a steamer instead of an iron and a good size safe deposit box. I would not stay there unless there are no alternatives.

At check-in, the guy who helped us clearly had a bad attitude—he seemed annoyed about something, and his service was terrible. Even though I’m part of the Bonvoy Program and asked for a late check-out, he just ignored me. Then he asked for both my ID and my wife’s ID and made inappropriate comments suggesting she wasn’t my wife but a “companion,” which was very disrespectful. On top of that, even though the website and the Booking app said check-out was at 12:00 PM, we were basically being pushed out of the room at 10:50 AM. Completely unacceptable experience.

The staff was so friendly the rooms were clean and I traveled by myself all the way from Las Vegas to Miami and I felt so safe there and I did not know in the morning I was checking out I was going to catch a uber to Port and the front desk guy said no we offer shuttle here it was only $22 and he ran out and got the guy just for me I was just amazed at everyone there the staff such a Chic little hotel

I don’t usually write negative reviews, especially for a stay I didn’t personally pay for, but the way this was handled afterward left a bad enough impression that it’s worth sharing. I stayed here on March 21 after being bumped from a flight and given a voucher by American Airlines. At check-in, I worked with Ayesha, who was kind and helpful. I was traveling with a companion who also had a voucher, and I offered to share a single room with two beds to make things easier on the hotel. My intent was simple. Save the hotel the work of turning over two rooms, and still have the stay attached to my Bonvoy account as a Platinum member. What I didn’t realize is that the hotel immediately checked me out of the system minutes after I checked in. I only discovered this the next morning when my folio showed that I had not stayed there at all. That’s simply not true. I slept in the room. The morning staff told me to call later to have it fixed. When I did, I spoke with manager Elias Garcia. He told me voucher stays “never” receive Bonvoy credit. That would be fine if it were true, but it isn’t. My travel companion, who was in the exact same situation, received full credit for the same night. When I pointed that out, his solution was not to fix my stay, but to suggest removing the points from my companion’s account. That response was honestly pretty shocking. It came across as dismissive and, frankly, a bit condescending. I followed up directly with the General Manager, Kathlyn Tancrede, and never received a response at all. At the end of the day, this isn’t about trying to game the system. The hotel was paid for the room. I stayed there. The record just doesn’t reflect that because of how the reservation was handled on their end. I actually tried to do the hotel a favor, and it ended up costing me. What’s frustrating is that this could have been a very easy fix, or at the very least a conversation. Instead, it was brushed off, and then ignored. For what it’s worth, the front desk experience in person was positive, and the property itself was fine. But how a hotel handles issues after the fact matters just as much as the stay itself. In this case, it fell well short.

The room was clean and modern looking. Check in was fast and friendly! The fridge worked very well to keep drinks cold! The city view outside balcony had chairs and had a good view of the nearby condo towers in Brickell Miami! The bar downstairs had a evening happy hour and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves! The neighborhood is safe and quiet at night and there is a liquor store across the street and also a gas station to get cold beer and snacks from! McDonalds and Wendy's is just down to the right and there is a publix down to the right and there is also a free Metromover light rail station over to the right across from the hotel which is a free fast way to get around Downtown Miami! Lots of high end shops and restaurants around the Brickell area which is a short walk! I would definitely stay here again!

Excelente hotel con todo tipo de comodidades (piscina, gimnasio) y ubicacion. Ideal para nuestra estancia. El personal fue muy amable y la limpieza de las habitaciones muy adecuada. El wifi funciono muy bien y se puede uno mover por Brickell andando perfectamente desde el hotel, que además no está en zona ruidosa.

The location was good walking distance to the major sites and we used public transportation from the airport and was a 6 min walk to the train, Bar had great drinks and the food was so good definitely try if you stay here.

I thought it was closer to south beach but that was my own miscalculation.
