Great location, immaculate, triple room is spacious, bathroom has more hooks and counter space than typical Euro hotels, gracious and helpful staff, wonderful breakfast, parking. Pumpkin soup delicious. Nice bar with shady courtyard. Cool mid-century decor!

Emplacement exceptionnel sur le port de la Canée. Idéal pour vivre au rythme de la ville du matin au soir. La vue de notre chambre avec balcon (suite junior) sur le port (moment inoubliable avec l'illumination du phare le soir). Chambre spacieuse, calme, produits d'accueil Nuxe, bouilloire et machine expresso à disposition (réassort des capsules chaque jour), propreté. Accueil et gentillesse du personnel Petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix (à la carte: omelettes, oeufs brouillés ...), les pieds dans la marina avec un personnel discret mais présent. Restaurants et bars à proximité Parking à disposition facile d'accès juste derrière l'hôtel.

The location was fabulous! It is harborfront, so the breakfast is which is included is on the street in front of the harbor. Wonderful beautiful sites, excellent people watching day and evening. Close to many excellent restaurants and shopping. Walk everywhere. Free parking. Very helpful staff . Excellent breakfast.

Everything! The hotel in general and the location in the a little bit more quiet corner of the Old Harbor was a great experience. The staff was fabulous, incredibly friendly, attentive and caring. They do their best to make guests feel comfortable and at home. The Classic Double Room with balcony and harbor view was beautiful, spacious enough for a solo traveler with great storage possibilities, comfy bed and bathroom. Breakfast is delicious!

There is absolutely nothing to complain about.

Breakfast was amazing. The location was central. Close to all the restaurants and bars. A beautiful view of the sunset each evening from our balcony.

Locatia hotelului este la maxim 2-3 min de mers pe jos fata de centru, dar intr-o zona linistita, nu am avut probleme cu zgomotul. Baia spatioasa, foarte bine gandita. Parcare cu acces doar pentru cei cazati la hotel, accesul se face cu cartela. Personal foarte prietenos.

Camerele sunt micute. Este loc pentru maxim 1 troler de cala deschis, dar este suficient spatiu de a depozita hainele in dulap. Ma asteptam la mai mult de la micul dejun, poate o diversitate mai mare la partea de bufet ar fi mai ok.

A truly excellent hotel in a fantastic location right on Chania’s Venetian Harbour. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and professional. We also really appreciated the well-organized airport transfer. A beautiful, peaceful hotel and the perfect base for exploring Chania on foot. A wonderful experience — we would definitely stay here again!

Porto Veneziano is a wonderful, comfortable and charming place to stay in the old port area. Every, once in a while, we have the great pleasure to stay in a place like this where you just do not want to leave. The rooms have great views and are extremely comfortable in every possible way. The Hotel team is so helpful and friendly. We felt welcome from the time we entered the front door. Elini managed our reservation professionally from the first contact and gave us a beautiful room. Angela at the front desk gave us the best of service and many great restaurant recommendations and could answer. Any questions pertaining to directions and shopping and places to check out. Every morning we enjoyed sitting outside on the patio overlooking the small boat harbor. Just an idyllic place to have breakfast. There was a tasty Buffet with everything you could think of; fresh and well presented. Valisiki took very good care of us every morning and insured our eggs were cooked to order. Porto Veneziano is THE place you want to stay in Chania — do not pass it by.

Excellent hotel, great staff, clean and comfortable room.

Wonderful staff, location, view, breakfast and parking ! You can find anything from ice-cream to drinks right at the hotel, should you prefer to stay in.

Room was rather small, escecially for a long stay (1 week), not enough storage space and hooks. Would have liked an espresso machine in the room at this price. I must add though, that the booking manager did everthing she could to accomodate us at a larger room for some of the days !

Quiet location just a 5 minute walk to main section of Chania Port. If you prefer, there are excellent restaurants right outside the hotel. Such a comfortable room and friendly staff. Excellent spot to launch day trips to Balos and then Elafonisi Beaches with our rental car. Breakfast was extensive with so much to choose from. Definitely recommend.

Just FYI. We had a rental car and while there is free parking, it gets a little tight.

Quiet location lust a short 5 minute walk to the hustle and bustle of the main old town port area. Or if you prefer, enjoy some really nice restaurants just steps away. Hotel breakfast was excellent and charged us for beach day trips to Bolos and Elofonsi. Staff was so friendly and always looking after us. Big room and plenty of space for us and teenage son. Definitely recommend.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. We had two free bottles of water every day. Hotel has a parking and you can leave the keys at the reception in case you block someone so they can move the car for you. They give you clean beach towels every day. Breakfast was good. Location was excellent!

Porto Veneziano is located at the end of the Chania waterfront, so it's extremely quiet and peaceful, yet also close to everything - restaurants, etc. We loved that it was right on Venetian wall walkway to the lighthouse, just lovely at sunset! Very kind and helpful staff and some rooms have a view of the waterfront (not ours). Although it wasn't easy to find, the hotel has an adjacent parking lot, which was super convenient for our rental car.

The rooms are cozy and though we requested a waterfront room, they were not able to give us one since we arrived later in the day, I suppose.

Ottimo hotel in posizione fantastica a pochi passi dal porto e da molti locali. Utilissimo il servizio parcheggio. Confortevole la camera. Buona e varia la colazione servita anche all'aperto sul porticciolo. Personale disponibile ed efficiente.

Connessione wifi debole. Le camere che non affacciano sul porto ma sulla via laterale hanno una vista molto comune.

The breakfast every morning was so special. The location is unbeatable. The staff were all incredible. The parking for cars was soooo handy. Good size room and balcony for Old Town Chania.

Have to pay extra for the gym, the AC is a bit confusing and the TV we couldnt heat it it was so llw... thats all I could falt. Was great.

Everything was perfect during our stay at Porto Veneziano Hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent, with a beautiful view and a wonderful atmosphere. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay — there was a great variety of options and everything was fresh and delicious. All members of the staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful, which made our experience even more enjoyable. Having the hotel’s own parking facility was also a great advantage and made our stay much more comfortable. From the service to the location, the view, and the overall experience, everything exceeded our expectations. We would definitely love to stay here again.

The room was a little small, but this did not negatively affect our overall experience.

Πρωινό δε. Πηρα για δικους μου λόγους, αλλά από ότι ειδα από το μπουυφε ειναι ικανοποιητικο η τοποθεσια όμως δεν παιζεται ειναι εξαιρετική , το προσωπικό ειναι πολυ φιλικό και ευγενικο με καλη διάθεση να σε εξυπηρετηση

Hôtel très bien situé, avec côté mer une vue exceptionnelle. L'hôtel est en bout de quai ce qui permet d'être au calme. Bonnes prestations pour les chambres (exemple : thé, café, bouteilles d'eau à disposition). Le personnel est très professionnel. Le petit déjeuner dans une salle agréable avec également des tables en terrasse propose un choix important qui comprend également de la cuisine crétoise. Les cocktails sont délicieux.

We were upgraded to a larger room (a suite), which was very much appreciated. Our traveling companions did complain that their room was very small, so I do need to mention that. The location was amazing...perfect for exploring the old town and the harbor area, with great restaurants and shopping very nearby. The breakfast was delicious and the price of the hotel was reasonable. We were placed in a room that was very convenient, which was much appreciated.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but frankly seemed distracted at times. Pleasant, but less service-oriented than at other hotels we visited on this trip.

We had an amazing stay and truly enjoyed every moment. The staff were exceptionally kind, helpful, and welcoming, always going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The service, cleanliness, and overall experience exceeded all our expectations. Honestly, we were surprised to learn that this hotel is only rated 3 stars, because it definitely deserves much more. Thank you for making our stay so special :) we would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

We recently celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at this hotel. It was absolutely amazing! The staff were very friendly, our suite was spacious, extremely clean and had beautiful views of the harbour and the historic lighthouse. The hotel is also perfectly situated that you are a very short walk from the Old Town, but close enough that you can appreciate the atmosphere and all the amazing restaurants that are on your doorstep. We had breakfast every morning at the hotel and the selection of fruits, yogurts, pastries and cooked items were really delicious and a great way to start the day. The staff were very attentive and friendly- we felt very welcome in this amazing hotel. We cannot recommend this hotel enough- we would love to return in the near future and would definitely stay here again! Definitely 5 stars! 🌟 thank you so much to all who made our stay so very memorable and special.

This charming hotel was beautifully situated on the harbour and provided the perfect view of the lighthouse. Stunning sunrise & sunset from our room!!! Very helpful and warm staff!
