Emerald Garden International Hotel

Excellent classical indonesian upper middle class hotel, superb fitness center and pool. Greatest breakfast, well-tra8ned staff. It was nice to feel a local vibe with guests from female Police convention, ethnuc chinees, who were constant guests of fitness facilities, lots of military from local hospital, visitors from different organisations from all over Indonesia

Bardzo wygodne duże łóżko, przestronny pokój. Z racji wczesnych godzin wyjazdu nie skorzystaliśmy ze śniadania ale przygotowano nam na wynos.

El personal del hotel, todo muy limpio, una piscina grande y limpia. Las habitaciones son grandes, con aire acondicionado, las camas muy comodas. En recepcion super amables. En general el hotel esta genial

Por decir algo, el personal del hotel muchos no hablaban ingles, pero su esfuerzo por entenderte y hacerse entender lo compensaba. No tenian cerveza. El desayuno aunque muy amplio, era desayuno enfocado a indonesios o asiaticos. En la piscina aunque seguro no hubiese pasado nada, las normas eran bañarse como minimo en bañador, asi q el bikini para otro sitio

En general todo. La relación calidad precio insuperable. Piscina, gimnasio, desayuno bufé, y las habitaciones muy cómodas. La cama de diez .... El personal siempre atento a cualquier necesidad.

A lo mejor el hotel se ha quedado un pelín anticuado en algunos asientos, pero es un señor hotel....

Breakfast restaurant not have various international menu

Allgemein ist das Hotel als gut zu betrachten. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, es ist sauber und das Personal ist sehr nett und bemüht. Außerdem ist das Gym für ein Hotelgym sehr gut ausgestattet.

Weniger gefallen hat uns die Auswahl des Frühstücksbuffet. Dieses könnte etwas internationaler gestaltet sein, trotzdem haben wir immer etwas gefunden, was uns zugesagt hat. Die Kommunikation mit dem Personal war aufgrund nicht sonderlich gut ausgeprägten Englischkenntnissen manchmal etwas schwierig. Das Gym und der Poolbereich ist zwischen 11 und 16 Uhr geschlossen und daher nicht nutzbar, trotz anders lautender Informationen in der Hotelbroschüre und in der Hotellobby.

We only stayed one night at the hotel, and since we didn't have any higher expectations, it was okay and it suited us well: not so far from the centre, the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean.

The workers could barely speak English, which was a surprise, since the hotel has "international" in its name. It was possible to have an exchange of words, but not a full conversation.

prime location ,cozy room, modern swimming pool with sauna, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and lot of choices. Great value for money and good lounge to grab an afternoon tea/coffee

Location was very good.

The hotel is very tired and dated. The website says they speak English which was not so and also that they have an airport shuttle which again was not so. The most disturbing thing was the rat climbing up the wall in the restaurant whilst we had breakfast, when we told the staff, they did not seem at all concerned.

Bed

The breakfast is amazing. The front garden and the sunrise view make it more appealing. Additional features like the gym, pool, and massage are wonderful.

It would be better to provide English description of food in the menu and maybe soundproof panels in rooms. :)

The aircon in the room tend to get warm around midnight. The daily buffet breakfast needs more variety/change in menu from day to day. The inside room latch needs to be reparied and the windows clean from the outside. Unfortunately, the lobby lounge was closed for reno and the karaoke was not always like before (open only on request)

Very nice hotel in central location in Medan. The hotel has big rooms and offers bath amenities.

Noise from other guests both mornings in the hallways, doors not soundproof. Breakfast with good choice, but floor sometimes not totally clean. No safe in hotel room.

At first appearance, this place looks great and there is much to like: the friendly staff, efficient service, large, clean rooms, and a good location. The hotel has a lovely looking pool, which was one of my main reasons for booking a stay here... BUT there was a major negative...

The fact I couldn't swim in the pool! The hotel closes the pool from 1100 to 1600!! This is ridiculous. The whole reason I booked this hotel was to spend one lazy day beside and in their pool. The fact I couldn't use the pool was very disappointing and for that reason I would not recommend this hotel at all.

It's ok

WI-FI internet is very unstable. This is only thing that changed my review from 9-10 to this, everything else is average, ok or good. If you travel to a foreign country and internet in a hotel is not important for you, this hotel is ok.

All staff are very attentive, professional and polite.

I was put in the wrong room at first, however when I came down to reception to inform them they immediately rectified it.
