Hampton Inn & Suites Chapel Hill/Carrboro

Staff member the morning I checked out Beds are comfortable

To pay for parking, which was a surprise To have no fridge or microwave in the room, also a surprise

Clean, great location and service!

It’s all great!

Great location, wonderful customer service, very clean with great amenities

Convenient location, friendly staff

All was good

Everything was amazing! Thank you so much!

Kind staff; solid breakfast; generally clean; good location

understaffed (did not have the proper sheets for a pull-out and could not make it up while we were out due to lack of staff); two of the three shower gels ran out during our one night stay

Nice location and good amenities

The plumbing, every time you flushed the toilet you got what sounded like a child’s recorder recital for at least 3 minutes after every flush.

Location was great and everything was clean and comfortable.

The staff at this Hampton Inn were amazing. I have worked at a five star five diamond privately owned property and the staff at Hampton inn was beyond the staff at the five star venue. Abby was very kind and helpful upon check in and the same with Lisa at check out, but there was one person that made this place stand out. Markita spoke to everyone. Kept the morning buffet stocked and tidy. She wwnt above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy.

The pool depth is shallow. Also a room that can accommodate 4 people but only had 3 bath towels

Good location

Parking is way overpriced Toilet didn’t flush well. Little annoying

Clean. Friendly staff Hayden was most helpful

No mini fridge. I was quiet surprised to be honest

Location, clean

No refrigerator. Shower plumbing issues.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and clean.

I didn’t like having to pay for parking

After being there several times, we find everything to be very consistent between visits.

This visit seemed very high priced.

No hot water for shower/bath, didn’t like that we had to park on 4th and 5th floor of parking garage each time we parked our car. Then walk down and go into hotel.

Ok

Handicap room too far from elevator. Not enough hot water in shower.

The location was great. Size of the room and bathroom were comfortable.

We were not aware of the $20 a night parking fee until we got there. The sheets were stained on one of our beds. The beds/pillows were very uncomfortable. There was a terrible sewer / Sulfur smell in the lobby the entire time we were there. Several guests commented on it. When we asked the front desk they said they didn’t smell it. We never ate breakfast there due to the smell.

Breakfast good, staff helpful.

Bathroom needed repair, but it was not done. Shampoo empty but not refilled. Housekeeping only once in 3 days.

Good service

Location and pool

They put me in the wrong rooms. One person had to sleep on the floor. I paid for a sweet that slept 4 adults ,and they put us in a double. The adults were NOT couples! Also needed handicap bathroom for my dad, and did not get that either!

Having to pay for parking. Additionally, Only allowed to park on the 4th/5th parking areas at night time.

Location was good and room was clean

At 9am, I awoke to a saw and loud banging on my wall. I had been working late and was really counting on those last couple hours of sleep, in order to drive home safely. I did not get good rest, as a result. When I called the desk, they said it was an "emergency repair" being done within the hours of operations. No remedy or alternative was offered.

Good location for us. Not only close to the university, but also shops in Carrboro. The breakfast was included and it was good for a hotel breakfast-/ varied hot and cold items, clean ( good health inspection rating), good coffee. Staff was very nice. Bed was so comfortable.

We actually had 2 stays in the same week. Our first one wasn’t extremely clean, and didn’t have a mini fridge. For our next stay, they gave us an upgrade to a suite!

Location was excellent and walkable

DNA

Location is good.

Absolutely no service. Ask and called reception several times for cleaning the room and for a different pillow. They said ok and wrote it down but then never heard of them. Also no refrigerator in the room and carpets are disgusting.

Clean and beautiful

Entrance to parking lot

Close to the venue I was going to. On-site parking. Plenty of choice of restaurants in the surrounding area. SUPER nice, helpful, and attentive staff. Complimentary breakfast is always a plus

No complaints about the property

Kindness of the personnel, location.

None.

helpful staff, good location, clean and lots of services, like exercise room and pools.

wifi problems.

Einfacher ein und aus checken

Kein Safe im Zimmer

Did not eat breakfast

Parking

Staff was extremely helpful and kind. Location is ideal for a game. Hotel was clean and decorated nicely for the holidays.

No complaints at this time.

What options you had were good.

Needed more options

Fair breakfast . I’ve had much better at other Hampton Inns

Elevators did not work a lot of time. Breakfast was fair not that great. Had to ask for clean toweks and toilet paper Room smelled like a dog had been in there.

Nice room and the area is beautiful everything you need it’s around of the location

I like everything

Location was great, walkable to UNC campus and Carrboro shops and activities. Breakfast was not exceptional, but it was very nice to have it included. Staff were outstanding, friendly and helpful.

The shower was clean but the drain wouldn't stay open, water pressure was too light, and the fixed shower head was not convenient. I couldn't wash my hair :)

Staff were very and the place was pretty clean. Breakfast was good for being free and the waffles were awesome :)

Only things I didn’t love was their was no mini fridge in the room and some weird things (like the door didn’t auto close and the bathroom walls was peeling and i found a packages snack on the floor).

We were in town for a family engagement party. The staff were friendly, facility was clean, and location was centrally located!

The only downside was the people in the room next to us were loud making it difficult to sleep. Otherwise I would highly recommend!

We have stayed here multiple times and have always found it to be an excellent Hampton Inn.

The hotel was clean. The room was very spacious, and the staff was courteous and helpful.

You have to pay $21 per day to park in the parking garage.

Staff was very friendly

Good location. Close to a lot of dining and shopping. Breakfast was fine. Employees were courteous.

Upon checkout, I mistakenly left a couple articles of clothing in our room closet. I called the next morning and the front desk said they'd check with housekeeping and call me back. After not hearing back by the afternoon, I called again and received the same response. By the next morning I still hadn't been contacted so I called again. For the third time I was told they would check with housekeeping and call me back. I still have not received a call a week later.

Close proximity to Franklin Street & UNC - Chapel Hill campus

Nothing. Everything is great!

Close proximity to UNC - Chapel Hill

No coffee shop nearby

Mọi thứ đều bình thường, như đối với loại hình khách sạn này. Convenience and express.

Friendly helpful staff and proximity to UNC

I will now check when booking a room if it has a fridge, microwave or minibar. As a diabetic with meds that need refrigeration, I had to get Ice on a 4 hourly rotation. Housekeeping was every 2nd day.

het ontbijt viel tegen

Lots of dining options very close.

Great location, comfortable stay and friendly staff

Great place to stay

Excellent service!

Centrally located

Nothing

Nicely situated in the heart of Carrboro.

Everything was great.

Conveniently located in the heart of Carrboro.

Everything was great.

Staff was super nice and we loved the pool.

Very close to the Cat's Cradle! Parking is very convenient to the hotel. Staff is very helpful!!

The food was good. The room was clean & comfortable. Staff was friendly.

Everything was good!

All is well.

Stayed here after family elopement ceremony on campus. The room we had was great, but there was no mini fridge to store leftovers from dinner, no microwave, and no fans in the bathroom.

Our stay was very good and would have been excellent except our door (rm 418) was extremely difficult to open and close. (My wife was unable to do either.) The door was far too tight in its frame. We reported this twice to the front desk and were assured it would be taken care of. But nothing had been done by the 3rd day when we left. ( The room was otherwise fine.)

Great location and very comfortable!

The staff were friendly. Stephanie knew me by name every time she saw me.

the air in the room was sometimes not working and when it did it was noisy. The conference room air did not work the entire time. The land line and electrical outlets by the bed did not work.

We had a divinetruth conference and hotel did not tell them ac was out until day before event. It was way too hot for 96 people! I do hope they get a refund since they did so much work putting this event together and attempting to make it comfortable for all. Also, the staff never refilled our water containers so that all could partake in cold water in the hottest part of the building! I say this in love since you got plenty of business from those of us who attended. I do hope this hotel gives the love back to the people who deserve it. Thank you.

Nice location

quite expensive, parking extra. no microwave, frig and safe in the room. the 1st floor microwave only usable during breakfast time. One of double bed is old style spring mattress, making loud bang noise just by sitting down, initially thought I kicked the box below mattress every time, 2nd morning found out the one near AC is foam mattress, much better quality, but too late.

I had disappointing experience at this property. From the start, things went wrong. I booked a two-queen room but was given a single king, which forced me to go back to the front desk with all my luggage. The reassigned room was located directly next to extremely loud equipment, making it difficult to relax. Over the course of four nights, housekeeping never came by once, despite repeated assurances from staff that they would address my concerns. Each time I raised issues, I received the same “we’ll take care of it” response, but nothing was ever actually resolved. This reflects poor follow-through and management. Basic expectations—getting the correct room, a reasonable level of quiet, and housekeeping—were simply not met.

Super super clean and comfortable. Not close to restaurants or anything else. Just an airport hotel but a seriously nice one. Really liked sleeping there.

Ok

N/A

Mercy at the front desk welcomed us in and she was really great! Property is in good condition and we liked the breakfast and the attached restaurant where we were able to catch some sporting events. We were visiting UNC Chapel Hill and it was really convenient to that location. Lots of bars/restaurants and some shopping but not much else to do there! Our room was ok, but some things were less than perfect (may be ok for others). The beds are firm and my husband and I struggled with back/hip pain (my daughter loves a firm bed and appreciated it). The bathroom was super clean but it gets super steamy/hot and it set the smoke detector off. Shower bar and toilet paper holder need repairs, had to push both up every time using to make it work. Didn’t love the parking in the area and it was $20/night for hotel guests which was a bit off-putting since you can only park 4/5 floor of the attached parking garage, thought that was a little steep when the garage was mostly empty…Staff was very pleasant and accommodating, it was a decent stay!

Awesome property and friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating staff!
