Perth Plaza Inn & Suites

Location was great! Room was clean. Staff was friendly.

We had to go to the office and ask for a shower mat for in the tub because once soap was used, the bottom became extremely slippery.... This should automatically be supplied. My 80 year old mother showered first and found this out when she nearly slipped ! And when I went to the office to ask for one, was told I could buy one from the dollar store. A few minutes later, someone from the office brought us one to use. We reserved a queen sized bed and found our bed to be smaller than a queen and when we asked about it, were told it was a queen. If that was a queen it must be a SMALL queen.

Convenient location.

Bien situé, propre, personnel accueuillant!

Clean, comfortable, wonderfully friendly staff.

No ice machine, but the fridge had a good freezer, so I got ice from the office the night before and kept it ready for the morning.

While it is an older facility, it was spotless and welcoming. Although located close to a busy through fare (on a Saturday night) we were not disturbed by traffic and had a good sleep through the night.

I always rate places based on expectations. This is a basic highway motel that exceeded what I’d expect in such a place. Staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, everything worked as it should, water pressure was excellent, and the stay was quiet and comfortable at the most competitive price in the area. Not one complaint or irritation.

Lotsa windows

Pricy

It was a clean room, nicely decorated and had free wifi.

We did report that there was no hot water available. Also as much as the rooms don't allow smoking, someone in the adjacent room was smoking and the smell came in the room. Also the mattress was not very comfortable, quite firm, too firm. For the price paid, the bed should have been more comfortable, it should have truly been a non-smoking room and hot water should have been available.

the property was clean, neat and easy check-in. Great value

n/a

smallest room we have ever stayed in. I don't even think it was a queen bed, more like a double. Also not ready at the given check-in time.

size of room was ridiculously small

Location and ease of check in and comfort the security of an actual key and deadbolt

I wish there were two options for curtains like a thin mesh for a little light but I’m glad they do already have the blackout ones

Everything

Price and bit too expensive, I guess it's more expensive in the summer.

I've stayed here before and was really happy with the rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bed is super comfy. I appreciate the mini-fridge and microwave. Also, they gladly gave me extra coffee.

I am sensitive to many chemical smells, especially cleaners. They cleaned the room just before I got there and whatever cleaner they used had a strong smell. I thought it would eventually dissipate, as I left the windows open. The smell stayed and made it difficult to sleep. The previous 2 times I had been there, this wasn't a problem.

Relieved they still had availability, but quickly understood why. The room appeared to be clean, which was appreciated, also an expectation. The staff person at 8:25pm was professional and apologetic.

Through Booking.com I had requested two rooms beside/close to each other, and was given rooms in different buildings, across the street from each other. I was told the “inn” had not received the request. Even so, wouldn’t it make sense that rooms booked together would be together? In the app, I indicated an arrival time of between 8-9pm, which was approved through the “inn”. I was at a family reunion that day and not with my phone. When we were leaving I noticed 3 missed calls from the “inn”, including one voicemail at 5:19pm asking when I intended to check in. I called right away at 6:52pm and was told I needed to check in before 8pm when his shift was over or he needed my email to send me instructions for the lockbox. I explained my arrival time had been confirmed in the app, and the earliest I could be there was 8:30. Also that I had very spotty reception in the area and did not feel comfortable relying on email and a lockbox to get into an “inn” with my kids and elderly father with no one at reception. I was told he could stay until 8:30pm max. It was a stressful, scary drive at dusk in an area I am not familiar with, but we got there at 8:25pm. Another staff was there and apologized, saying she could see the approved check in time and that there was another shift after his. She also apologized about the rooms being in different buildings, but the “inn” was full and no way to make a change. If I could have found anywhere else to stay, I would have. The room with two beds looked like a standard, cheap motel room- what we expected given the exterior. The “suite”, however, was two adjoining rooms each with an exterior door and a bathroom in the middle. The toilet and tub were in the bathroom, while the sink was in the bedroom- with no towel. The double bed had one bedside table with a lamp and plug. The other side had a dining room chair beside it, no lamp or plug.

Exceptionally clean, all appliances & fixtures in good order, comfortable beds, location about 1.5 kms from downtown Perth.

The two queen beds and extra space and was in the wing back from the main road.

Not seeing toiletries but I alway travel with my own.

Good location with access to shops and restaurants a few minutes walk away. Clean, comfortable suite.

Noise can sometimes be heard from adjoining suites.

Everything was as expected. 100% Satisfied. The staff was cooperative and the property was well maintained, clean and comfortable. We would love to come back in the future.

Location

The location was walking distance to so many things. The room was at the back, and not noisy at all. Room was clean. Had a microwave, full ironing board, hair dryer, mini fridge with freezer (bonus!!) Coffee maker with 2 coffees. Body wash and Shampoo and hand soap supplied. Tissues, adequate towels left in the room so we didn't need to ask for more.

Motel impeccable et tranquille. Personnel accueillant. Lits confortables.

Staff was outstanding! Room was very very clean and the location was great!

Floor of room wasn't very clean.

No breakfast. Location good.

Not much

The room is dated. Several occasion there was a raw sewage smell in our room 118. The units next to us seem to be rented off Airbnb or VRBO the unit is extreme dated and needs a total overhaul.

The front desk attendant (Dhaul ) was extremely helpful. The rooms have been updated, the beds were very comfy. The bathroom was well stocked and overall the room was very clean...will recommend to others traveling to the area.

Very clean

You can hear everything happening in the room next door and feel all the vibrations, and the noise from the street in front of the motel

Convenient location to my work.

Bathroom was very uncomfortable. I didn't like bed mattress. Bedsheets were polyester, I am allergic to it.

How fast I was able to check in and out. The ability to go into the room was easy and swift.

It was a little too cold at times.

I liked the coziness of the room I had. was going through I little stress to do with my job but they were super accommodating to me and my situation.

I liked everything.

the facility was well priced

The price wise all the service was very excellent; It was very convenient for everything and it was easy to find the location and very safe as well. The highlight was very clean and very quiet! I will definitely go back again.

I did not find anything better than this!

I've been at this hotel before, and received the same friendly service, and clean room as always, thank you

Unfortunately, the sound barriers are not great - neighbouring guests were very noisy, especially around 2am. I had to be on the road by 6am, and when I came out in the morning, there were cigarette packs all over the ground and someone's boots ... I would say there was a bit of partying going on, which isn't necessarily the hotel's fault, but it definitely ruined a night's sleep for me and my baby.

The bed in my room was so comfortable. After driving in the heat and then visiting family I sleep like a ''log'' for almost 9 hours. The train did wake me up at 3am but I just went straight back to sleep.

I can't think of anything.

Price was reasonable for what was offered.

We were told we could check in at 1. We arrived then and were told somewhat rudely that we had to wait till 1:30. The young man working at the desk was understanding but the older man was rude; we had called the day before to confirm the check in time as timing was important (for us to get ready to attend a wedding).

No break fast provided.

Very small room, noisy air conditioning, loud traffic

convenient location

size of bathroom

Breakfast was not included, but we knew that. This was our third time staying there, and we enjoyed it once again.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. Gave me all the info I needed, and the privacy I wanted. Room had lots of space, very well heated. Jacuzzi in the room was awesome.

Good price and location !

Close to everything I needed, cost was excellent and staff very pleasant and easy to approach.

Towels were rough but all else was excellent

Perth Plaza was just as expected as we were looking for a stop- over en-route. The town was nice and had all teh facilities we needed.

An optional simple breakfast would have been even better but recommendations for local cafes were provided by reception

Location, coffee maker, quiet, inexpensive. Internet tv.

Very clean, love the old style motels where you pull up to the front door. Everything you could ask for. Shout out to the Hungry 7 restaurant, literally 100 steps in front of motel, great breakfast and awesome staff.

TV was a little difficult to manage. IPTV is great at home, but when you want news and sports quickly this system was not.

the only thing we didn't like was there was a very large amount of pet hair on the inside mat. it got all over our socks, and bags that we dropped off at the door when we came in.

They charged me for damages without explanation. I tidied up myself and there were no chargeable damages. They did not respond when I inquired

Handy to an excellent restaurant

Netflix rebuffers every ten seconds. Annoying.

Good location. Comfortable bed.

Streaming services on TV

Very clean room comfortable bed, early check in

Great value, one room with two beds. Good location

A spacious room with a fantastic window. Kitchenette was well supplied. Room was clean. Overall, this is a great place to stay. Staff were very friendly.

I had trouble with the scent of the laundry soap used to wash the bedding. And, while the room was clean, the baseboards and doors needed a wipe down. and the beautiful window really needed a wash.

Very clean everywhere is spotless and a spacious room, McDonald nearby very convenient

A bit cold maybe cuz we didn’t turn on aircon

Manager was friendly, courteous and helpful.

Yes to all

Very pleasant and welcoming

Only complaint is the train which isn’t the fault of the establishment.

Great place - location, reno updates, cleanliness, quietness and comfort. Best value for the money I've found in a long time.

Good
