Location great .staff friendly . Bed comfortable and lovely pillows . Very clean room . Air con but must admit ours only worked when it felt like it . I requested a ground floor room and got it . They let you leave luggage to go out for a wander if room isn't ready yet . Our room was ready 2 hours early and they let us have the key . They had run out of ice but they did let us take an ice bucket to the room and we got Ice from supermarket by the station . Surprised at how peaceful it was despite being on the stations main road .

The shower was dangerous. No slip mats and the water spurts all over the small bathroom floor as soon as you put shower on in the tiny pod bathroom . The doors do not help as they have an inch gap at the bottom . We couldn't use shower because of the risk of slipping . Also there is no mini fridge to put water and milk in . I have a cpap machine to help me breathe at night but there isn't any plug sockets next to the bed in any rooms but luckily I had a short extension lead with me .Breakfast at £16.50 per person on the day or £13.50 pre-booked is very expensive on top of room prices so we didn't have breakfast . The room needs a bin bigger than a child's sandcastle bucket .

Good location,5 minute walk from train station

The last time I stayed in an Ibis was many years ago and it was run down, with some guests/visitors who made me feel uncomfortable. As a result I haven't stayed in an Ibis again until now, which was chosen as it was only one night next to the station. I was very surprised about the difference from my last experience. I loved the breakfast, only place where I was able to have smashed avocado and tomato on toast for breakfast, very happy about that.

Nothing, everything exceeded expectations due to a previous bad experience at another Ibis many years ago.

I didn't intend staying at all but got caught up in the air traffic control nightmare at Gatwick. The staff were just lovely helping me out, sorting a toothbrush etc - I literally was on a one day trip so hadn't event got the basics with me. They were very kind after a rough day, so appreciated!

Only one tiny thing, there was an odd flying hornet type insect sharing my room. It wasn't buzzing or scary or anything so I ignored it and it seemed to enjoy staying there as much as I did

It was ideal for the train station and the bus. The staff were very helpful &pleasant food was also very good 👍. Our room was on the 8th floor but the lift was really fast Our room was very clean it also had a shower. If I go back to Brighton I would stay there again. 10/10.

Downstairs are is very functional, not too welcoming. Also prices at the bar are far too high . Glass of Merlot £14 across the road at very friendly bar it was £9 !!! Just as good too

Due to the air traffic control issue my flight wqs cancelled and I had to find a room at very short notice, not too far from Gatwick. The location was perfect, hotel clean, staff nice.

Located very close to the train station. Staff were very friendly and efficiently handled the check-in. Room was larger than I expected for the price and the bed was very comfortable.

The bathroom was very small, and similar to that you'd find on a ship/ferry. This felt very out of place when the room was of a decent size.

The location of the hotel is good for commuters. Its next to the station and easy to find.

The entrance was dirty and not looked after. The bar area was again unclean and just very tired looking. Our room on first inspection was adequate but once we settled in things changed. There were long black hairs in the bathroom, we are both bald. I requested extra pillows after being emailed by the hotel to find they werent provided. The TV didnt work. The bathroom was okay but needed a wipe down before use. The air con was not worth installing. It didnt work properly in fact at one point felt like it blowing warm air. It also had a continued noise that was not acceptable and meant it couldnt be left on at night. To escape the room we went to the bar and ordered a bottle of wine, no wine glasses available! The cost of the room meant that it should have supplied a higher level of service and comfort. We would not have breakfast in the hotel as everything just looked grubby. The young lady that checked us in was very pleasant but there were around 6 staff wandering around and going into a back room. People were waiting to check in, a couple were at the bar and the place needed cleaning. maybe some of them could of actually worked

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff friendly,helpful and welcoming. Best walk in hotel shower I have ever used Great location as well as Brighton we were travelling localy by train so handy for station.

There wasn't anything it ticked all our boxes.

Das Hotel liegt in direkter Nähe zum Bahnhof. Ein Supermarkt und zahlreiche Cafes, Imbisse sind in der Nähe. Zum Wasser läuft man ca. 15-20 Minuten. Das Zimmer war schön groß. Das Bett bequem.

So close to the train station which makes it so easy with luggage, hotel had everything you needed, I did not eat there but loved the fact I could get food and it also had a bar. WiFi was very good. Close to bus stops which is what I needed as I went to a concert. I’ve always stayed closer to sea front but now I’ve realised I’m quite happy not lugging a suitcase all the way down the hill. The staff on reception were lovely and very helpful.

On the whole room was clean but I did find a lot of dust on top shelf , a couple long black hairs in bathroom ( I’m light ) but I just cleaned them up.

Didn't think breakfast was worth it, and wasn't sure I'd make it. The hangers were proper ones instead of stuck to the rail. It was a hotel room. Bed was comfortable, that's about it

Had to change rooms because I booked a double bed and was given a twin room. Think the bathrooms are dangerous, one warning sign by the mirror isn't effective safety when it's so easy for the floor to get wet, and the raised floor meant I slipped getting out. If I'm already going to shower, I'm supposed to go down to reception? Could've ruined my whole weekend. And not really happy about the price, didn't realise other sites would've been about £100 cheaper, maybe I would've paid for breakfast then.

The location was p;erfect if you are travelling by train with the hotel being a minutes walk away. The rooms were surprisingly big with a small seating area to avoid sitting on the bed all the time. Great shower, well lit bathroom and again spacious. The bed was a good size and extremely comfy. And despite being on the main road was relatively quiet. The 12 pm checkout was amazing!

There was nothing I didn't like.

It's so close to the station, and the rooms are really quiet even though you're on a very busy, noisy street. There are bus stops right outside too, very handy. The room was clean and comfortable with some well thought out design ideas such as having the power socket under the mirror for the hair dryer, a shelf at the window becoming a desk, and a longer lower shelf that could be used as a bench or for storage. This was where the little kettle/hot drink making area was. The bathroom was really neat, I liked the circular design in it, it seemed quite like being on a cruise ship, or in space. The staff were really sparky and friendly, and very very helpful. Major bonus: air conditioning! And if you want it, there's a laundry service. Plus: check out at midday, lovely.

We didn't think to ask about this, but a bath/shower mat was needed as the floor in the bathroom did get wet. The bathroom could do with a night light so the full beam didn't wake a sleeping partner. The flush mechanism on the loo was sometimes just running and running and taking ages to fill up, it might need a service. The breakfast is too expensive for us, and we'd just like coffee and toast or yoghurt, or coffee and croissant, so maybe a cheaper option of that, for £5-£7 might be useful. I booked this quite last minute and location and air conditioning were really brilliant, but I felt the overall price, without breakfast, was too high for two nights at £450. It was the same price as five nights in Birmingham, and I recently had four nights in a Travelodge in London for this price. But I needed to make this trip, and I wanted the location and air con, so I went for it. I would stay there again but I would try and look out for deals.

Preis-Leistung nicht gerechtfertigt, dazu fehlte es im Zimmer an zu vielen Kleinigkeiten ( kl. Handtuch, Toilettebürste etc.)

Het is precies wat je van Ibis gewend bent, alles is in orde, maar het is niet "superdelux". De locatie is uitstekend, in het centrum van Brighton. Voor parkeren moet je extra betalen, je krijgt korting in de parkeergarage om de hoek, maar dan is het nog steeds 20 pond per nacht. Het ontbijt in het hotel is prima.

Fabulous location. Right by the train station and a few mins walk to the seafront. Very central to everything. The staff were amazing. Very friendly with big smiles every time you see them. Very helpful for every little query. Views of the sea and Brighton Pavillion.

There didn’t seem to be much noise insulation from the rooms to the corridor so I could hear people coming and going during the night. Also there aren’t plugs next to the bed for charging phones at night.

Location of hotel was excellent. Easy to get to all local attractions. Close to train station, was easy to visit family. We did not eat but did have a drink in the bar . Staff happy, helpful and friendly.

The hotel's excellent location is a particular highlight. It is situated right next to the train station, which is especially convenient if you are arriving from Gatwick Airport. And you can even reach central London by train in exactly one hour. The "Coaster" buses—heading to Eastbourne, the Seven Sisters, Newhaven, etc.—depart right from the hotel entrance! The rooms are spacious; there is plenty of storage space and ample coat hooks, and the layout is well thought-out. The air conditioning works well, too. We were very pleasantly surprised by the breakfast! It offers a wide variety of choices and is very substantial. However, it is worth booking it the day before, as it is significantly cheaper than deciding on the spur of the moment. Verdict: I would definitely book this hotel again and recommend it to others. However, if possible, you should request a room on an upper floor at the back of the building. It is quieter there than at the front, and you even get a view of the sea!

The breakfast room is too heavily air-conditioned; you should bring a jacket.

The Ibis Brighton was just right for our needs. No difference from any other Ibis anywhere else. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean with daily housekeeping. Great location right beside the train station. Practical hotel for a short stay.

We stay there for a week a fire alarm went off we found out the next day it was a false alarm they would only one member staff working we were left into our room not knowing but what's going on nobody came to check if we were okay in our rooms there was a very very small sign on a door saying if there's a fire staying your room nevie came to check if we were okay maybe we didn't know what was happening so we decided we would not come back again a bedroom was reasonably tidy staff for staff were very helpful on a first day we came apart from the day when he found arm went off at 3 30 in the morning the hotel was quite nice place to stay apart from it's on a hill but in our opinion we would not stay again and would not recommend it personally that is why we've only given it one star if I could give it less than one star we would

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Hotel befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Bahnhof und direkt vor der Tür befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle. Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig. Das Frühstück war recht lecker.

Leider hat es im Bad sehr unangenehm gerochen. Es gab einen Feueralarm um 03:30 Uhr nachts. Es gab leider keine Steckdose direkt am Bett.

Bathroom is a plastic capsule, very basic. The water basin drained away very slowly, like 30 minutes. Reported, never resolved.

Room was spacious, tidy and clean. Towels and extra pillow provided. Shower room a good size.

No plug sockets next to the bed. Air con made a loud, high pitched whistling noise after about 30 minutes so had to be turned off. Bed was very firm, probably the hardest we have used.

Situated very close to the railway station although we used the Trafalgar car park (which is £26 for 24 hours). Rooms are a very good size. Bathrooms are the modern "pods" which could do with being larger. Good value.

I stayed on a solo trip just for a couple of days the hotel is ideally located only a mintues walk from the station and very good walking distance to the seafront and town centre. the staff were welcoming the stay was seamless I would suggest more plug points in the room. Preferably beside the bed and also one next to the tea and coffee tray as the plug point is on the otherside. Also bedding needs improvement the pillows were far too soft for me. Despite this the room was fine for what I needed and I was able to spread the cost of the room I think the prices are quite high

Die Nähe zum Bahnhof ist praktisch, das Frühstück war lecker, die Zimmer waren mit einem Wasserkocher, Kaffee und Tee ausgestattet. Das Personal war hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich.

Unser Zimmer war sehr warm, da wir die Sonnenseite hatten. Bei geöffnetem Fenster ist es morgens lauter, aber dafür wohnt man zentral.

Alles soweit perfekt, direkt am Bahnhof und nicht weit in die Altstadt und zum Meer. Entspricht einem Hotel am Bahnhof ;-), gibt aber nicht wirklich etwas auszusetzen. War etwas teuer, aber Hotels in Großbritannien sind generell nicht sehr günstig. Viele Pubs in der Nähe:-)
