The location is excellent, being within walking distance of the railway station and in the heart of the city. The facility for cycle parking was convenient, but please put a roof on it so that bicycles stay dry!

The door closers need adjusting as they slam. Slamming doors are an unnecessary annoyance. This is a simple piece of work for a maintenance person to rectify.

Difficult to find the breakfast room 🤣

staff were kind and friendly, both reception and breakfast room staff.

Hotel is clearly being used by social services, felt quite sketchy at times around the inside and outside of the hotel. Room was clean, but very basic. Frankly would have got a better standard and deal at a cheaper hotel chain for example. No Hotel bar. Hotel feels more like a hostel than a hotel. Staff were good, but shant book again. Breakfast food quality was generally poor-

It had a fridge which is always super handy and was comfy!

Fairly basic room but it was large! Great location, super central to everything you need in Brighton and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very quiet room considering how central it was

Some of the fittings looked a bit tired (mismatched wooden flooring and could do with a fresh paint job). Some extra lighting would be nice as it was a bit dark in there.

I like th4 location

The price! Being told you dont get breakfast and its £12 to have it. I laughed its not like a top breakfast where you can choose what you want ie sourdough toast with roasted tomatoes etc which it what I had else where. Also I have a disability and I was situated on the 3rd floor, and Ii have a fear of lifts. How is that making a hotel accessible, it isnt. Disabled residents should be on the grouns floor.

Not happy with overall stay

Disliked the fact my wife got trapped in bathroom because handle did not work, lack of pillows and fan in room noisy but not working

It was very clean and nice and central. Most things were a 15 minute walk away.

Because the hotel is also student accommodation there was a lot, and I mean A LOT, of noise in the hallways. It kept me awake for multiple hours.

Rooms are extremely basic, beds squeak and the white roller blinds with gaps either side, simply illuminate the room the moment the sun comes up, they’re utterly pointless. Don’t recommend if you like a dark room

The building has an attractive facade!

Our room 302 was situated above 4 very noisy fans which were going virtually all night long and when we did eventually fall asleep, kept waking up me and my daughter throughout the night - there was no let up! It was too hot in the room to close the windows!

Central, lots of stores and restaurants around the hotell. Short walking distance, approximately 10 minutes from everything. Fridge in the room. Clean bed and bathroom.

The floors in my room were sticky. I don't think it's been cleaned properly for a while, as I saw the cleaning staff only used a vacuum. No mop or anything in sight. If i removed my shoes, my socks were very dirty underneath after a short time. The door handle to the bathroom came off. Breakfast was very bland. Toast, butter, jam, scrambled eggs, bacon and beans. Juice, tea and a coffee machine. That was it, I expected a little bit more. Some fruit or vegetables would have been nice. The hallway was very noisy in the morning with slamming doors and cleaning staff banging their trolley around.

Breakfast was very good, scrambled egg and bacon were exceptional, often watery or rubbery (respectively) at other places.

no aircon, but for the price hey-ho. thankfully the heatwave was over, so good fresh air from the windows and i slept well. also car parks in the vicinity are super expensive.

It was extremely hot on the 2nd floor where our room was located, there was a mini fan in the room which did not help at all, me and my husband was really struggling to sleep and stay in the room throughout the day and night.

The team on reception were all super friendly. Anyone we interacted with was nice.

There was no AC and the window barely opened, it was boiling hot! The TV was also so far from the bed when considering the size of it it was too small. The room itself just felt a little bit bare and depressing. Didn’t really look like the images online.

Although room was clean, smell of cleaning products overpowering, fan fell to bits as soon tried to plug in , thick dust everywhere from that all over floor & husband's clothes. Once able to get it to work , unstable, fell twice more & no real power to fan. . double room but only one bedside table & light , so one guest had to use chair and unable to read in bed Mattress had no firmness & uncomfortable Cafe very basic , tables not set, more like a school canteen

Nous avons passé 3 jours à Brighton, 2 nuits avec ma fille, au top, rapport qualité prix, personnel RAS, très gentil, accueillant , emplacement idéal, à 10/ 15 mm de la gare, du centre ville , 5 mn du front de mer, une rue à prendre juste en face de l'hôtel. Nous devions rendre la chambre pour 11h, notre train était à 21h, nous avons pu laisser nos bagages pour la journée, ce qui est bien appréciable. Je recommande cet hôtel sans hésitation, j'y retournai c'est certain.

Body wash & hand wash wasn’t fill up. And the bed was very soft and can hear the noice.

Very poor breakfast. Laundry not changed daily despite asking for it. No shower mats to prevent slipping.

Customer service was really nice, very friendly and kind. Room was ok.

For the price I paid, we was expecting at least a room facing the main road or at least having air con, but there was just a small fan inside, and it was quite hot inside.

No housekeeping and we stayed 4 nights. Breakfast was edible but not good. It seems part of the Hotel is let to the council which means some undesirable looking people, it didn't feel very safe.

Great value, Friendly staff, close to many shops, has a fridge in room and clean and comfortable :)

The shower didn't fit well in the shower holder and had to be balanced to use, when using the fridge make sure to have a spare room card as when I got back it had gone funny due to the electric being off without a card.

Cuando nos dieron la habitación estaba limpia y ordenada, no faltaba nada. Correcto. El trato de la recepción es agradable y se preocupan por preguntarte si todo está bien. La ubicación muy buena.

La cama no era cómoda, la cortina no es suficiente para que no deje entrar el sol a las seis de la mañana, nos quedamos dos noches y no hicieron la habitación (se supone que es un hotel), desayuno insuficiente y no reponían, había que indicarles que faltaban tazas para servirnos el café, pan, poca variedad. El precio que pagamos no corresponde al servicio que se da. Tienen que mejorar.

I liked this hotel. It was only 400 metres from the beach. My room was clean and quite big. The wooden floor felt nice cool in the hot weather. A ventilator and small fridge were very useful. The staff was friendly. They offered full English breakfast in the cafe and it was delicious. I would love to stay again in this hotel. Many thanks!

The cafe was the only place were was an air conditioner and to come from the rooms with normal temperature, the cafe felt really very cold and uncomfortable. Next morning I put my light jacket on and this way felt much better. Although breakfast was good, I would recommend to offer a few slices of cheese and/or ham to cover the bread. There was only jam available, but this you have afterwards.

Wir hatten die Möglichkeit, unsere Fahrräder sicher unterzustellen. Das war prima.
