Muy lindo, la casa un poquito deteriorada, quizá por los años de construcción, pero no deja de ser un privilegio hospedarse ahí. El personal excepcional.

Las piscinas. Se ve que su mantenimiento es complejo pero es recomendable hacerles más mantenimiento. No nos pudimos bañar porque el agua estaba constantemente sucia con restos de las palomas que sobre vuelan el lugar

Por la página de Booking lo venden como un hotel 5 estrellas y no alcanza sino por ahí a 3, para mi es una publicidad engañosa en las fotos. No era lo que yo buscaba y decidí no quedarme en el mismo, no me han hecho el reintegro del dinero (que es bastante para lo que es el hotel), lo que venden por la página no es lo que se ve en la realidad me siento defraudado y estafado, no volveré a comprar por booking.... he perdido mi dinero porque en el establecimiento me dijeron que no era reembolsable. Me siento de verada estafado.

La chambre était magnifique , je n’avais jamais vu une chambre avec une hauteur sous plafond pareil , le personnel était super, le petit déjeuner aussi . Le service de navette est tellement pratique:)

Os funcionários são ótimos. A localização é bastante central, na frente da marinha, caso queira pegar barco para passeio.

O estacionamento é longe. O quarto não tinha porta no banheiro, zero privacidade. Infelizmente a piscina do terraço não dá pra usar porque é uma banheira de pombos.

Una joya colonial con un servicio humano excepcional El Hotel Boutique Don Pepe es una belleza arquitectónica que hace honor a los 500 años de la ciudad. Admirar los detalles de esta casona colonial es una experiencia en sí misma. Nos alojamos en familia ocupando 4 de sus 12 habitaciones y todos coincidimos: el confort es impecable. Camas, almohadas y lencería de alta calidad que garantizan un descanso placentero. Lo mejor, sin duda, es el servicio al huésped. Nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos en todo momento. Mención especial para Liz, Jorge y Edgar, quienes demuestran una vocación de servicio admirable; su atención marca la diferencia.

Puntos a mejorar para la excelencia: Limpieza de habitaciones: Notamos que el tendido de camas fue algo superficial algunos días, encontrando restos de arena del día anterior. Un poco más de detalle en esto elevaría la experiencia. Mantenimiento de áreas comunes: Las piscinas son ideales para relajarse, pero en la del roof falta limpieza recurrente en los bordes debido a las palomas. Es un detalle fácil de solucionar que mejoraría mucho la higiene visual.

Great hotel, we had a last minute deal so the price/value was really worth it. Room was huge, the bed really comfortable and the shower great. Staff was also very nice.

The only thing i would improve would be to close the bathroom.

Las instalaciones del hotel son preciosas y las personas que trabajan son muy amables, en particular el señor Edgar y Lisseth, del restaurante. También quiero destacar que, dado que la habitación en la que nos encontramos no tenía una reserva inmediata, pudimos ingresar temprano a la habitación y salir tarde, sin costo adicional.

Todo de lo que estaba en manos del personal del hotel estuvo perfecto. Desafortunadamente fuimos un fin de semana en el que la ciudad tenía eventos por todo lado, así que el ruido fue grade. Insisto, nada imputable al hotel.

Wij houden van boutique hotels en deze staat denk ik in onze top drie , wat een prachtig verblijf met prachtige kamers en super vriendelijk personeel. je voelt je veilig en je kunt er heerlijk relaxed uitrusten. Ze hebben een prima restaurant en de locatie is ook nog eens top.

La habitación, aunque estaba limpia, me dieron la habitación de queda detrás de la recepción, no tenía posibilidad de abrir las ventanas, pensé que la habiatacion Luxuri era en un piso alto y con alguna vista o balcón, me parece costoso el precio para la habitación. Por lo demás todo bien.

Everything about this hotel was exceptional. The staff were very friendly and accommodating; providing recommendations for restaurants etc. The facilities were very clean and my room was much larger than expected. I had plenty of room. They offer a made to order breakfast from a menu of items, so there were plenty of options available. They also offer shampoo and conditioner if needed. The towels had a nice lemon scent (they even offered bathrobes). The room had a small closet with an iron and safe. They offer two small bottles of water and coconut cookies when checking in. This hotel was definitely one of the most upscale I’ve stayed in for awhile (for that price point - even considering I was traveling in Colombia). You could even order lunch or dinner from them if needed and if you are checking out early before breakfast they can offer you a to-go box. On my checkout day, they were more than happy to accommodate me by allowing me to keep my belongings in the room for awhile. They were happy to store my luggage if needed as well. Lastly, the location can’t be beat. One block to the beach and ti Bolivar park as well as the pedestrian street leading to Parque de Novios. For the most part it was quiet given its location. They have a rooftop for a view (be prepared to climb stairs)

Everything was good. The main pool is in an awkward spot- right as you walk into the hotel and in front of the tables where people may be eating breakfast, etc. There is another more private pool upstairs but when I went up to check it out it seemed one couple had taken it over as their private space so…? If you have any kind of mobility problems you should definitely let them know, as only a few rooms are on the ground floor and the rest are upstairs (straight or spiral staircase could be challenging with lots of luggage). While the location was good and generally safe area, the street to go to the beach , pedestrian street or bolivar park was slightly sketchy and not overly well lit (the police station is right there though - going to the beach) but I definitely walked faster at night.

Everything was beautiful. The location is fabulous - less than a block to the bay/Marina and many restaurants and bars. The bed was super comfortable. We had a jacuzzi bath which was the ultimate in luxury for me - in a lovely outdoor space. The staff couldn’t have been any more welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was really high quality too. All the outdoor spaces were beautiful. A sanctuary in the city.

The stay was absolutely amazing the staff recomended us to watch the sunset on the roof and it was absolutely breathtaking. We decided to eat at the restraunt downstairs and their food was out of this world!

Que bonito lugar El Centro.

Very safe, converted 17th century convent.It was just kind of a strange place. When you check in, they give you a tour of the hotel like it’s a museum (and it kind of is).Several strange pools that all seem like they have limited utility— one is right in the front lobby, and one on the upper deck is tiny. Should be charming, but kind of worn around the edges. Large room. Lots of stairs, they did connect us to a great tour guide for Minca, and they serve a nice breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel offers beautiful rooms, although they are a bit dark. The staff was exceptional – incredibly friendly and helpful. I especially want to highlight that one morning, when we had to leave before breakfast, they prepared a thoughtful takeaway package with food and drinks without us even asking. A wonderful service that made our stay even more enjoyable!

The way time seemed to slow in the cloistered gardens, where the only sounds were rustling palms and distant waves. The staff’s warmth felt authentic, their care woven into every detail: crisp linens turned down at dusk, a handwritten note suggesting a hidden beach, the way they remembered how I took my coffee. This isn’t a hotel that shouts for attention—it whispers, inviting you to lean in. By the end, I didn’t feel like a guest, but a confidant of its secrets. I left with sandy shoes, a sun-kissed soul, and the quiet certainty that I’d found a place I’ll return to—not for luxury alone, but for the rare gift of feeling utterly, peacefully known.

The room had a window that could not be opened so basically no natural light at all. Very slow service at breakfast.

The small hotel was in a great location near the ocean and the historic center. It was very comfortable and quiet. The room was nicely decorated, the bed comfortable, & the room very quiet. We spent time on the lovely rooftop cooling off in the small pool. Highly recommended.

The ambience of the hotel is lovely. The staff were very helpful and made me feel valued. The room was really lovely and clean. I loved the decor and extra touches. It is very well located for the busy surrounding streets filled with restaurants and bars.

The downstairs pool lacks privacy and is for appearance only I would say. There is a small pool on the top floor which was more private if you were alone! The stairs would be a challenge for anyone with older knees!

Great hotel, really tidy, the food was great, the service was excellent, it was right in the middle of everything, close to all the nice places to visit in Santa Marta and good restaurants too... Overall 5 stars. I Would most definitely return!

The staff was extremely kind and helpful. My wife actually got sick the last day of our trip and it happened to in Santa Marta. They led us in the right direction for great medicine and even made her some broth.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant could be better, not much choices for breakfast and a limited menu for dinner. lThey did not have whole wheat or multi grain bread. The toasts were barely hot but not toasted. The hotel lobby is nice but the hotel was in poor condition and needs major maintenance. The jaccuzzy was not cleaned, an very old model and the water was cold. The hotel as a small pool in the lobby in the middle of the restaurant (mainly for decoration) with a fountain with cold water and another pool on the 2 floor which about 2 by 3meters, you can only stand, you can't swim. The room we had was spacious but it only had one chair to sit on, the matress was soft and there was limited space for stroring clothes.

The location was excellent for the bars and restaurants. Once you’re in the hotel you would never believe you’re in a city. Its is so tranquil with amazing helpful staff.

The staff were excellent - very friendly and attentive while keeping a low profile. Once you go through the gates into Don Bepe it feels very relaxing it feels like being at home.

We loved this boutique hotel! It is the perfect location to explore downtown Santa Marta and the beach/broadwalk is two blocks away. The food was great! Wonderful breakfast. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

This is a very special hotel indeed. I say hotel but from the moment I walked through the entrance I felt like I was in a home, and I was treated like extended family. It’s a beautiful colonial building that has retained much of its original features but it’s been modernised so tastefully. It’s impossible not to love this place. Delicious food and LuisFelipe and all the staff were the most charming and friendly, I really didn’t want to leave.
