Es súper bonito, limpio, las piscinas privadas son un gusto, el personal de servicio encantador, servicial, sonriente… nos ayudaron con todo. Adaptaron nuestro menú para celíacos como pudieron y cenamos muy bien. Una cena estupenda, explicando que es cada cosa. Igual el desayuno. Merece la pena si además te gustan los baños calientes. El resto de los onsen están muy llenos por se públicos (todos desnudos, por si eres recatado…) en cambio este es privado y usas solo tu la piscina. Duermes en futones comodisimo. Me ha gustado todo.

The hospitality, service, and attention to detail was like nothing i have ever experienced. All the staff from the moment we walked in, to the day we left were all extremely kind and attentive. Not to mention that Mikunya is located in a prime area of kinosakionsen with four private baths on the premises. You can literally come with the clothes on your back as everything else would be provided to enjoy your stay. Definitely would recommend

朝食が思ったよりもボリュームがありとてもおいしかった。飲みもので牛乳かフルーツ系があればなおよかった。 お風呂も貸切で入れるのはよかった。 また、近場の温泉に入れるpassも貸してもらえる。 初めての体験があり、チェックアウト時にお礼の手紙をもらえた。

2人で一泊二日の利用で滞在したが金額的にディナーも ついていたら嬉しかった。 ただ、近くにグループ会社のレストランみたいなのもあった。そこはかなりサービスも良く過ごしやすかった。

Absolutely beautiful

Great ryokan, quiet, super friendly staff, food was great, especially the dinner, privacy, old and new met, despite near to almost everything, near to the Kinosaki Onsen station and right in the shopping and food/ snack street, near to all the public onsens and right infront there is a bus stop if you intend to go to nearby attractions like the Genbudo caves, Izushi Castle Town, even walking distance to the Kinosaki Onsen Ropeway to get to the Onsenji Temple.

Is a classic ryokan, many staircase up and down, I was confused and almost lost the first hour, guess that is why make it unique and interesting.

Great location and small town if your up for hot springs this is perfect location also only 30min train +Walk to the nearest beach in another small town. Hotel staff was super friendly even received a little goodbye note a very nice touch

Our room was incredible (junior suite); very spacious, modern-feeling ryokan and staff were very kind. The inn's private onsens were very clean and easy to access/reserve. Great location too, on the main road nearby the train station. We did not select the meal package so I can't speak to that!

Sometimes it was difficult to access front-desk staff as they were often at work elsewhere. We had to wait a while to get someone to help us check-out. Otherwise, our experience was perfect.

There are 4 private onsens for use and its first-come, first serve. They do not take reservations for The private baths, so you have to keep an eye out and try your luck on the timing.

Una delle esperienze più belle della mia vita. Soggiornare al Mikuniya è stato molto più che dormire in un ryokan: è stato immergersi completamente nella tradizione giapponese. La nostra camera era semplicemente meravigliosa, ampissima, con un elegante soggiorno in tatami, il tradizionale tavolo da tè con sedute a terra, splendide pareti scorrevoli in carta e legno e finiture curate in ogni minimo dettaglio. Ogni ambiente trasmette armonia, autenticità e una qualità davvero impeccabile. Un aspetto che abbiamo adorato è stata l’attenzione riservata agli ospiti. Abbiamo potuto scegliere il nostro yukata preferito tra diversi modelli, da indossare liberamente per passeggiare nella splendida Kinosaki Onsen e per accedere agli onsen pubblici. L’hotel fornisce anche i pass per entrare in tutti gli onsen della città e le tradizionali ciabatte di legno, permettendo di vivere appieno questa esperienza unica. Il valore aggiunto sono i quattro onsen privati della struttura: bellissimi, perfettamente mantenuti e utilizzabili in esclusiva senza alcuna prenotazione. È sufficiente verificare che siano liberi e godersi un momento di assoluto relax in totale privacy. Lo staff è stato impeccabile, sempre gentile, disponibile e attento a ogni esigenza, contribuendo a rendere il soggiorno ancora più speciale. Se cercate un ryokan autentico, elegante e capace di regalarvi un ricordo che porterete con voi per sempre, il Mikuniya è semplicemente perfetto. Per noi è stata un’esperienza indimenticabile e uno dei momenti più emozionanti dell’intero viaggio in Giappone.

Struttura bellissima, curata nei minimi dettagli, personale estremamente accogliente, disponibile e gentile. Centrale alla zona delle terme, terme private all’interno della struttura davvero belle. Abbiamo fatto la loro cena tipica e colazione, era tutto buonissimo ed abbondante. Il migliore soggiorno fatto in Giappone, ci abbiamo lasciato un pezzo di cuore.

Wonderfully kind staff and beautiful property. Kaiseki meal was very enjoyable and catered for our pescatarianism (warning it’s a lot of food and some quite adventurous seafood!). The four private onsens were fantastic and there was always one available when we wanted one.

Omana room was special book it! Owner was outstanding booked our restaurants for us and even came over to Check In when we went to the steakhouse the on-site OSEN were incredible- location was perfect and staff were kind.

- Wir hatten Zimmer im japanischen Stil. Dieses hat einen Tisch und ein Futonbett was am ersten Abend aufgebaut wird und dann den ganzen Aufenthalt aufgebaut bleibt. - die Japanischen Zimmer haben keine eigene Dusche (weil bruacht man auch nicht, weil man ja im Onsen badet) dafür aber eine Toilette mit Vorraum in dem es ein Waschbecken zum Zähneputzen gibt - Klimaanlage ist leise - Zimmer sind sauber - Es gibt 4 private Onsen, die man nach First Come First Serve Basis nutzen kann. Wir hatten hier auch keine Probleme, weil die Gäste gebeten werden max 1h im Bad zu bleiben und länger hält man es bei ca. 40 Grad Wassertemperatur ohnehin nicht aus. - die privaten Onsen haben einen Vorraum, in dem es kostenloses Eis gibt das man nach dem Onsen genießen kann - die Unterkunft verfügt über eine Münzwaschmaschine, eine Eismaschine und eine Mikrowelle (wenn man sich etwas im Supermarkt holt und aufwärmen möchte). - das Kaiseki Dinner ist mit ca. 77 EUR nicht günstig aber top (sehr viele unterschiedliche Gericht) und für uns wurde auch eine vegane Version zubereitet (wichtig ist es hier bei Sonderwünschen vorher Bescheid zu geben). Wir waren 4 Personen und hatten einen privaten Raum für uns. Wir können es wirklich jedem empfehlen das einmal während des Aufenthalts zu machen, wenn es das Budget hergibt. - Frühstück war auch gut und auch hier gibt es eine vegane Variante, wenn man vorher Bescheid gibt. - Man bekommt Yukata und Schuhe gestellt mit denen man im Dorf herumlaufen kann - Eintritte für öffentliche Onsen sind im Preis inkludiert - die Lage ist top mitten im Dorf und direkt gegenüber ist ein Supermarkt. Nah hof ist zu Fuß ca. 5 Minuten entfernt.

Located near the station. Very clean and neat. There are 4 private baths available and all are well stocked with soap/shampoo/conditioner and are very well kept. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious.

There are quite a few flights of stairs to climb so this may not be so suitable for young children or persons with mobility issues

Beautiful place at KinosakiOnsen, well designed and quiet. Everything you need for conexion with nature and relax. 4 privates onsen to enjoy almost all time you want and free pass to enjoy the public onsen around. A bit expensive but definetely worth it once a life.

This traditional ryokan-style hotel completely exceeded our expectations. We truly found what we were hoping for… and even more! The staff’s attention and kindness were wonderful, especially Luu, who made the entire experience even warmer and more special. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed. The hotel provides traditional yukatas (women can even choose from different designs) as well as passes for the public onsens in Kinosaki. However, we barely used the public onsens because the hotel had 4 private onsens available to use freely, without reservations, which was perfect for enjoying as a couple with much more comfort and privacy. The kaiseki dinner served in the room was exquisite and very elegant. A true Japanese gastronomic experience, with many small beautifully presented dishes. We slept on very comfortable tatami beds, and the breakfast was also delicious, authentic, and very different from what we Westerners are used to. Kinosaki Onsen is a small, walkable, cinematic town, especially when strolling around at night wearing yukatas. A unique and unforgettable experience that I completely recommend.

部屋のトイレがかなり臭っていたので、芳香剤を置いて欲しかったです。　 臭いに慣れるとさほど気になりませんでしたが、敏感な人には苦痛だと思います。

The place was great. I recommend it especially if you just want to relax. Get away and heal your body. Many private onsens on the property which is great for shy people.close to public baths and restaurants lovely little shops around.

I wasn't expecting a cold breakfast. But it makes sense after a long dip in the onsen the breakfast would help you cool off.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft in Kinosaki-Onsen. Und hat die Inneneinrichtung des Hotels sehr gefallen, es war sehr sauber, super schön durch das Holz, was einem direkt ein sehr warmes Gefühl gibt. Die Futonbetten waren außergewöhnlich gemütlich. Wir fanden die dicken Decken darauf auch echt super. Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich und gesund. Die privaten Onsen der Unterkunft waren sehr gepflegt und wirklich echt toll. Die öffentlichen Onsen sind fußläufig erreichbar und in der Nähe gibt es viele Cafés, kleine Läden und Restaurants.

Das Badezimmer, bzw. der Raum, in der die Toilette steht, hatte einen eigenartigen Geruch. Wahrscheinlich durch die Lüftung? Wenn man aus der Unterkunft raus wollte, musste man zuerst Personal rufen, damit einem die Schuhe gebracht haben. Uns war das manchmal etwas unangenehm, da wir nur für unsere Schuhe jemanden rufen mussten.

It felt like a very authentic experience. The staff were very welcoming and comforting. The complementary services were also of high quality. The location of the ryokan was just perfect. The breakfast was also a unique experience. Very much depends on your personal likings but I would recommend to just lean in.

We are on the 2nd floor. It's hard to hold our big luggage to the front for check out. But we've accepted because this hotel is renovated from the old house. That's it little thing

We enjoyed our stay here with the private baths, although we spent most of our in town at the public baths. The best private baths in the hotel was Nana with an outside window. Don’t miss it. Nana and food was great with dinner in room and courses explained by staff. Breakfast was in communal dining room. If you are ok with stairs I would suggest staying on the bath level in the back as quieter. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Location was near the train station. The building is recently renovated, so it's a bit more modern in the interior; though I personally prefer old cozy buildings, this place was also comfortable and our suite was spacious.

The private baths were alright; the pretty bath was usually always occupied, until I went early in the morning. Unless you specifically want to go into a bath with your not-same-sex partner or want to chat a lot, I'd say just go to one of the public baths.

This accommodation was a splurge for us to celebrate a special occasion. It exceeded my expectations and consider it money well spent. The staff were courteous and kind and our room attendant was truly amazing. She was warm, friendly, and attentive. We booked a standard room which was beautifully appointed with a couple of sitting areas, real tatami mats, and futons which were set out and put away unobtrusively. Mikuniya is centrally located, within walking distance of the public baths. They also offer private family/couples baths on site at no extra charge and they were lovely - clean, peaceful, serene. Each room comes with yukata and hanten jacket that you can wear as you follow the bath circuit. Most visitors do this and it's delightful. And then there was the food! Japanese-style breakfasts were plentiful, delicious, and exquisitely presented. The kaiseki dinners served in our room were outstanding, especially the multi-course snow crab dinner. This is one of the most memorable places I've stayed in my lifetime. I would love to return some day.

Our stay at Mikuniya in Kinosaki Onsen was absolutely fantastic. The ryokan is a beautiful western-style take on a traditional Japanese inn, and our room was simply stunning. It was incredibly spacious for two people, entirely made of warm wood, spotless, and designed with great attention to detail. The atmosphere felt peaceful, elegant, and very authentic. The location could not be better, right on the main street of Kinosaki Onsen, making it incredibly easy to walk around the town and explore everything. A highlight of the stay was that the ryokan provided us with passes for onsen hopping, allowing us to visit the different public baths around town, a truly unique and memorable experience. Everything about this place felt special. Beautiful accommodation, perfect location, and an unforgettable experience. We would absolutely stay here again.

夕食　蟹、但馬牛はとても良いお味でした ただ締めに蟹雑炊があればもっと良かったのに ベトナム女子が中居さんでしたとても一生懸命で 好感が持てました。

洗面所の排水が悪くゴボゴボいってました 三階のお部屋でしたが、お風呂に行くまで階段の上り下りがありスリッパでは注意しないと危険だなぁと感じました

The whole ryokan experience was phenomenal. The ryokan itself is beautifully appointed and the attention to detail in the design was spectacular. The private onsens were amazing and the staff were so attentive, gracious and kind. The chef who worked hard on the kaiseki dinner and breakfasts deserves an award! The food and dining experience made the whole stay.

夜ご飯は部屋食でゆっくり食べれて尚且つ美味しかったです。 お布団でしたが分厚目のマットレスで寝心地が良かったです。

シャワーの水圧が弱く髪の毛の長い方は少しストレス。 お茶や水のアメニティーの説明がなかった。

お風呂が貸切で良かったし風呂上がりのアイスのサービスも良かった。

すべて貸し切り風呂だったので、気を遣わずくゆっくり楽しめた。 風呂上りのアイス提供はよかった。 夕食が部屋食で、ゆっくり食べれた。かにも満足できた。 こじんまりしているので、宿のスタッフさんとも距離が近いように思う。

朝食は品数も多く見栄えもよかったのですが、朝なので品数を絞って、質を上げてもらう方がいいように思う。 宿の中は階段が多く迷路のようで、移動が少しつらいなと思う。（構造上、どうしょうもないですが） 焼きカニは、宝楽焼きのようになっていたので、焼き色がつかないため、焼きかにの香ばしさを感じれなかった。

城崎温泉駅から徒歩数分の立地。古き良き昔の旅館でありながら、清潔感があります。 館内には4つの貸切風呂があり、外湯めぐりもしつつ、城崎温泉を楽しむことができました。朝食もしっかり和食で満足できました。 旅館のスタッフさんは若い方も多く、あたたかく迎えてくださいました。次の日に別の旅館に移動する時も荷物を無料で送ってくださるなど、完璧なサービスでした。

4つの内風呂がどれも快適で、夫婦貸切で堪能させて頂きました。使わせて頂く、宿泊客同士のマナーが快適なのは三國屋さんのかもしだすスタッフ方のお心を感じるからだと思います。ありがとうございました。
