Motel 6 Cranbrook

Location, friendly personal clean room

Na

Better beds

New renovations were tasteful and unit clean.

Noisy fan on AC/Heater unit. Had to shut it off in order to sleep.

Location was good

Noise

Safe comfortable location, friendly helpful staff.

Great location, spacious and comfortable rooms, all appliances in working order.

Good price for a one night stay when you are on the road and you just need a place to sleep and maybe shower.

Dirty. I don’t usually leave negative comments for places where it’s a really good deal money wise but this place really needs to make some changes. It shows that nobody cares because dirty things could easily be cleaned and maintained if people did the job properly. The fan in the bathroom is above you as you are showering and it’s disgusting. All switches are dirty. However if you only need a place to sleep and not have a fancy experience, it’s okay.

The room was fairly comfortable and clean. We would stay here again.

The room was very comfortable and clean. It was good value for the money. We would stay here again.

The T.V. was unfriendly. We were unable to get it to work.

The employees were really good to deal with

Not enough parking

The room was amazingly clean.

The place is a fire trap. There are only stairs on the mid section and we were located 2nd floor at the far end next to the roadway. What if a fire happened in the mid section? How would we escape?

Clean room, comfortable bed, coffee maker.Staff helpful and available.

Cheap and cozy

Everything was good

Great staff, flexible accommodations, clean , comfortable and makes it more convenient when we have our own entrance!!

Really loud because of the street

Pool was nice

Bathroom could use up dating! Not alot of parking near room!

No breakfast

Good value

Clean and comfortable. Staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Hôtel bien situé, besoin d’attention et de rénovation

Breakfast? No. In the morning i found the small well out fitted little kitchen area...too late. VERY helpful desk clerk, patient showed me two rooms and listened to my upset about cost to facilities. I give him 9 out of 10.

For the amount of money the outside appearance was shabby and scary.....with a hand written piece of paper saying NO VACANCY The patient desk clerk was the only reason I stayed. Plus it was a summer weekend.

The supplied kitchen , mattresses were comfortable

The cleanliness , dust webs in the corners of the room , very dingy feel , could use an update , not being able to go take your pet on the small part of grass even though it’s pet friendly , ice was provided by office manager not self serve

L’albergo è in una posizione strategica

Helpful staff and room ambiance

Parking was too congested and unorganized

I was skeptical when I booked a motel six, but all the surprises were good ones! Sparkling, clean, recently remodeled, quiet, convenient, an absolute bargain!

Some might say the room was small, and I am a large person, but this is an older facility, recently remodeled with a totally redone bathroom. What a bargain!

The rooms are big. Comfortable beds. And very clean. We would stay here again. The hotel was very reasonable prices were very good.

The property is very well looked after. The room was clean and well maintained. The bathroom the same

No complaints

Convenient, clean.

The fan in the bathroom was so LOUD!! I am sure the room next door could hear it.

Convenient

TV was difficult to use

Clean and accommodating

the room was clean and easy to access my car, the staff was friendly ( I forgot my phone charger so the front desk lady let me borrow one)

The breakfast was basic it would have been nice to have dairy like yogurt or herbal teas available. After a long trip(drive) it would have nice to have vending machines or water and ice available since I was traveling with a dog and couldn't take her into a gas station to get things to drink. There was people using the parking lot to use drugs in their cars so I didnt feel safe.

Very clean , and comfy beds

Parking. There was not enough parking . They should take that pool out and make parking, or a grassy area for pets .

It was double booked so I got bounced

Big room. Cheap.

Noisy air conditioner. Hot. Along the highway in the noisy industrial area.

Easy check in. Great location. Comfy bed!

Nothing

Very easy to find on the main highway.

I am heartily sick of hotel rooms that don't have working TVs. One of the batteries had been removed from the remote. As a solo traveller, I pay the same for a room as a single person. This makes travel expensive, it is bad management not to check the facilities of the room. It is very selfish of other travellers to remove batteries. Road noise is constant through the night from the highway.

Convenience. Just off the highway and cheap price

The gentleman at the front desk was a little rude, especially concerning the age of my kids. He didn’t seem happy that my 15 and 16 year old met that criteria. When we got to the room it was ok. BUT the comforter between the top sheet and the flat sheet was filthy. It had stains on it and the edge was black with dirt. The beds were also very soft and uncomfortable.

Easy to find, smooth check in Comfortable and clean

A little noisy, being right on the highway

Easy parking

The property is run down and in bad need of repairs.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the price was excellent.

The website clearly advertises that this property has a swimming pool. After a long seven-hour drive, we were really looking forward to relaxing with a swim when we arrived. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed to discover that there is no pool at the property. Advertising amenities that are not actually available is misleading and made for a frustrating start to our stay. I hope the website is updated so future guests are not left with the same disappointment.

Clean, safe, ground floor

One bed was a little off kilter

No Breakfast The cost is good Great location

The bathroom Fan did not work Bathroom Sink not in the bathroom which is poor The microwave was dirty Small TV Said it was a Small Kitchenette with microwave and small fridge which is basically on the bathroom sink

Nice people at reception

It was to hot to sleep at night and climate control system was way too loud

Location close enough to tournament we were at and within walking distance to restaurants and the mall.

The rod in bathroom for the shower curtain block the door from closing smoothly, as it curves and sticks out.

Front desk guy was nice

This is probably the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in, if I only paid $40 I'd still feel ripped off, honestly I wouldn't stay here again if someone paid me. This building needs to be torn down, I cannot believe Motel 6 puts their name on this property. I'm not going to get into any specifics but it's really bad in every way imaginable. I should have just slept in my vehicle.

location and price

air conditioner was squeaky and loud, smelled of stale smoke, bed sloped down towards head of bed, could hear people clomping upstairs

Price. And very clean.

N/A

Nothing

The picture is not even close to the actual rooms. What a deception.

No carpet, cleaner floors! The fellow at reception was warm, genuine, and very helpful. Best part of the stay. Coffee and toiletries were appreciated. 😊

The room had a weird smell. It was kind of a mix of old stale cigarette smoke and something else i couldn't identify. Not pleasant, but I got used to it eventually. Not a deal breaker.

Location

Staff was friendly and helpful. There was coffee in the room which is different from other Motel 6.

Comfortable bed

Value for money

N/A

Rooms were large and clean

Gravel filled pool! Our room had a loose/broken piece of flashing on the floor trapdoor. Towels need an update! They are worn out

The room insulation was really poor which you can hear next room’s conversation and noisy traffic passing by.

Rooms were super clean , check in was easy good value for money

Nothing really not to like . It was a good cheap motel . It was an old place but sparkling clean .

We booked q room on line, and when we got there the room was double booked, Can you please make sure my credit card wasn’t charged

Love the location. Close to restaurants and right on the highway.

Shower pressure very weak pressure. I have a habit of stripping the bed when I leave. When I remove the pillowcases on the pillow protectors there was a blood stain. Under the bed was dusty like they have not swept under it as well. Picture of stain provided.

Closeness to facilities

How the tv was very temperamental

Price, location

Uncomfortable and too many smokers

Easy to find and good price

I couldn’t get the air conditioner to work

The room was very clean, the beds and pillows very comfortable and pleasant staff. The location is good just one the main HWY so its not that quiet during rush hour.

Our stay was enjoyable but one lady sat outside the next room talking nonstop until after midnight. I don't think she took time to breath. No issue with the hotel.

Location good for our road trip everything in kitchen you need and comfortable bed friendly staff

TV small but not a problem

Kitchenette

Sink and tub slow to drain

Basic simple rooms, reasonably clean and felt safe. Just what you expect nothing more nothing less.

I loved the seperate bedrooms and kitchenette!

The dust! Lots of dust on top of light fixtures, window frames etc - Mind you I had a cleaning business so definitely notice that stuff more

Very clean, loved the colors, bed was very comfortable. Great location. Very quite.

NA

It was adequate for a one-night stay.

This is not something that can be fixed but we found the location to be noisy as the motel is located right next to a very busy highway.

Keurige moderne kamer en compleet. Op kwartier lopen van het centrum.

We clearly had the ‘penthouse suite’. Have stayed in numerous Motel6s, but never in such a large, well appointed room. With AC on at a low hum, the train and highway noise was inaudible. Very comfy, clean, and staff was very friendly.

Really nothing; a wonderful refuge from the storm.

Good hotel no problems

No kettle or tea provided

No breakfast. Room a bit dingy, musty smell. Shower did not work properly. Beds were good. Ok for 1 night.

See above

The staff are very welcoming and friendly

Clean and comfortable

Quite

It was clean and comfortable and no surprises. Exactly as we had expected. The fellow who checked us in was very friendly.

Outside of building needs a massive reno. Outside doesn’t match the room,s which was lovely.

A decent enough place and located near main highway for ease of access.

It was right on the highway easy access to anywhere I needed to be

Clean and full equipped for all our needs. They were very kind and helpful.

Everything

Nothing

There were people being loud, partying and drinking until very late. Was difficult to sleep.

Location, price

Beds

Easy to get in and out of the parking lot.

Took awhile for the hot water to appear; but after that it was a great experience.

no breakfast

parking lot full of crew trucks

The location was OK.

Our shower curtain looked like someone used it for toilet paper a little brown

Very kind and accommodating.

The room smelled like an ashtray. It’s non smoking but they have ashtrays right outside the rooms and there was always people smoking right outside the doors so it was impossible to escape. I had to try to sleep with the blankets over my face to avoid the smell. I also didn’t have hot water

Pet friendly!! The room was clean, looked recently updated, and had everything we needed.

My stay was great. Service was good, staff friendly, rates were even better, and location was optimal. Our stay stay was so good we stayed another night without any hassles.

I'm not a fan of the whole 'no smoking' thing but it's not the hotels fault, least I hope not.

We liked that there were real mugs for the Keurig, and Kirkland coffee pods. Room was very clean. And the shower supplies were nice too!

One of the towels was a bit dirty, and the room smelled like cigarettes.

Comfortable for a short stay (like a one night stop in a long trip). Parking right in front of door.

Installation need a refresh - its kinda old. It worth the money ive paid for. I knew what to expect
