Location was good, 5 minutes from Bletchley Park. Breakfast was good.

Bedroom was a good size, had everything you would need for a night's stay, tea & coffee facilities also included. Beds had comfortable mattresses & pillows. Bathroom was clean & modern with good shower & plenty of hot water. Breakfast was well cooked to order & very good. This is a budget hotel & with breakfast included in the price was amazing. Bletchley park is about 10mins drive away, so hotel is very well situated for a visit.

The hotel is on the main road so you can expect some traffic noise but it quietens down & I slept well so not a huge problem. Nothing else not to like for the cost.

From as soon as i walked in the bar staff were really friendly and welcoming. They shown me to my room and i was very impressed with how very spacious and clean it was straight away and the fact that the external of the building was have a fresh lick of paint also just shows how much pride they have in the swan. The heat. Unfortunately we stayed on one of the hottest nights in August.

The outside of the hotel was undergoing a facelift when we arrived but was looking very smart when the scaffolding came down. The bedroom was small but had 2 very comfortable single beds and facilities for tea/coffee. The bathroom was smart and new, it was all very clean and obviously newly renovated. The staff were all friendly and helpful and breakfast was freshly cooked and as much as we could eat. The hotel is in Fenny Stratford on Watling Street and there is not very much there but we ate a pub meal in the hotel the first night, the second night we went to a Thai restaurant along the road. The hotel is very convenient for visiting Bletchley Park about 10 minutes away.

The hotel is on a busy road junction and was rather noisy with the windows open. However it was quite quiet with the windows closed and there was a very efficient fan in our room which gave us a comfortable nights sleep.

Parking. WiFi is good. Great breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel for excellent value.

Location was a little loud due to local traffic (although this was muted greatly when windows were closed) however, the location is ideally placed for local shopping/events/venues. The staff are all welcoming, helpful & friendly. The room was clean, aired & had everything i needed for a short stay. The bedding was very clean & crisp and very comfortable. The breakfast was yummy with several options to choose from and was served over an extensive time frame which is ideal for early risers and those who like to rise a little later.

I have only one little gripe. The bathroom area was huge and with that a huge window. Although the window had patterned glass i felt a little exposed when using the bathroom! I would like to suggest a blind for the window just to expel the 'exposed' feeling.

I found the Swan Hotel to be truly lovely. The room was spacious, the bed exceptionally comfortable, and I slept soundly throughout the night. The breakfast was undoubtedly one of the best I’ve had in a long time, and the staff were outstanding.

I had a wrap for my dinner in the room; there were no where in the room to sit down to eat it other than on the bed. There is a breakfast bar underneath the TV, but the chair provided wasn't tall enough to sit and have the meal. Having a stool that is tall enough for the breakfast bar would score 10 for me. That's the only thing I would suggest to improve.

Przy rezerwacji obiektu obiecano nam spełnić życzenie, przygotowanie śniadania na wyjazd wcześniej lub wieczorem, ponieważ wyjechaliśmy o trzeciej rano, niestety obietnica nie została zrealizowana i pojechaliśmy bez prowiantu.

Fantastic breakfast, at a good time. Check in was very easy especially considering that the England game was on the tv and the bar was very busy. The bed was comfortable.

Bathroom could have been cleaned better. The toilet hadn’t been flushed after use!

The room was large, clean and had everything we needed. There is a spacious car park. The 3 windows made it feel light and airy. The bathroom was modern with a good shower. The staff were all very friendly. The food was good and reasonably priced. There was gluten free toast option for the well cooked breakfast. It was very handy for our visit to Bletchley Park. The Swan exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay again.

The location was ideal. The owners made us very welcome. Were pleased to see a fan in our room to keep it cool in this heatwave that we have. Loved all the flowers in baskets and plant pots. We were well looked after.

There was nothing that I didn't like. We went for a rest and nobody bothered us.

The Swan Hotel seems to be a place for workmen, not tourists. The male member of staff that we saw when checking out was unfriendly towards us.

It was a heatwave so the room was very hot. They explained that the building doesn't have air con and I completely understood. I was only paying a small amount for the room so I wasn't expecting it. The room was spotless and the bed was comfy.

I was in Room 4, which was on the first floor. In my previous stay, I stayed on the second floor. The pub music can be heard in the room, but as advertised, it stopped between half 10 and 11, so it didn't impact my sleep.

The position is on a busy main road. As it was very hot, we had to leave the window open so it was very noisy. The evening menu and standard of food was very disappointing.

Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the cooked breakfast consisting of: a mug of tea/coffee, orange juice with a fried egg, two rashers of bacon, two sausages and baked beans with two slices of toast. I was in room 6. The room is lovely and clean, furnished with a tv, desk, desk chair, desk fan and kettle with UHT milk and PG Tips sachets, instant coffee, and cups and saucers and spoons, although I didn’t use the kettle due to the heatwave. There are a few coat hooks in a corner next to the window and some clothes hangers. Beds are comfortable and had two pillows each, one firmer than the other, which I appreciated. Duvets were very comfortable although I spent a lot of time lying on top of the duvet because of the heatwave. Bathroom was clean and tidy. Shower was good, with decent water pressure, very nice after a long, sweaty journey from Euston and walking up two flights of stairs to the room. Lots of natural light with the window, great for getting ready to go out! Great blackout curtains!

Two notes: I stayed during the late June heatwave and the hotel is located on the junction of two busy roads with a double roundabout. The heatwave meant that I kept the windows open all the time, so it was a bit noisy. However, this is not The Swan’s fault, just a warning to bring ear plugs and eye masks! There is only a desk fan, which I used by placing on the other bed. But if two people were in the room, a tower fan would be much better and easier to use. The bathroom has a big window with Georgian wire cast glass so there is privacy and lots of natural light but I could still make make out the figure of a staff member passing on the spiral stairs next to the window outside. So much natural light meant the bathroom got quite humid as the fan only worked when the light was on.

Petit-déjeuner copieux et à la carte. On nous propose un petit-déjeuner à l'anglaise mais on peut demander aussi des tartines et du beurre et se retrouver avec les deux ! La localisation est bien, pour aller visiter Bletchley Park, proche de restaurants, et du coup c'est à un carrefour donc on a un peu de lumière de lampadaire et bruit des voitures, mais honnêtement c'était vraiment pas dérangeant.

Proposer une carte pour le petit-déjeuner pour faciliter le choix.

Excellent location for our purposes, and loads of parking on site too. Plenty of convenience stores close by as well. Breakfast was basic but fine, and the pub seemed lively and friendly when we arrived though we just went straight to our room. The room was clean and very comfortable, kettle, tea, coffee, all included, towels were fluffy! Lovely.

I had the triple room with the fire escape door. The key for the fire escape door didn't work, so it was left unlocked throughout my stay. Nothing happened, but I would have slept well if I knew the door was locked, especially as the other room's fire escape route had access to the same route.

Staff were helpful and friendly ideally located only a small walk from the palatial palace my venue for the evening but could get a taxi if you weren't up for the walk
