The location is near kota lama and Queen City mall, perfect for family staycation.

The location is super convenient, really close to the old town and easy to get around from. The hotel was clean, and all the amenities were provided. I was pleasantly surprised that our room came with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed, which was perfect for traveling with two friends. The room was also really spacious, with a sofa and a proper workspace. The AC was so cold i ended up wearing 2 jackets 😂. Overall, it was really comfortable, and the soundproofing was pretty decent, so it stayed nice and quiet even though we visited during the school holiday season.

The location was a short walk to the old town and its sights which was great, it was also walking distance to Malls and other historic sights which we loved.

The breakfast was fantastic with so much variety and the waiters were very nice. The food was well presented. We enjoyed so much this time with our family. The room was very confortable. What a good memory we have of this hotel.....

One time in the evening we asked for a cake and the milk of the tiramisu was not good any more. The hotel knew the day after it and they offered us a new cake. Thanks for this

Personeel negeert het bordje “do not disturb” aan je deurklink en klopt ‘s ochtends vroeg op je deur of belt op de kamertelefoon, om schoon te maken. Hotel lijkt op sommige plaatsen renovatie nodig te hebben. Dekbed lijkt te klein voor de hoes.

Sauber, Personal hilfsbereit und freundlich. Gute Lage + Sport Möglichkeiten (Fitness + Schwimmhalle). Frühstück das Beste was ich in Indonesien gegessen habe, eine große Auswahl und sehr hilfsbereit.

Meetingroom zu nah an den Zimmern, es ist dadurch zu laut. Die Teilnehmer schreien zum Teil, dadurch kann man sich nicht ausruhen. Wenn man die Türe des Meetingraums schließen würde, dann würde es weniger Lärm geben. Nur ein Aufzug, dadurch kommt es manchmal zu Wartezeit (waren aber im Rahmen).

Das Metro Park View würde ich sofort wieder buchen. Ein wirklich angenehmes Hotel mit bequemen Betten, sauberen Zimmern, gutem Bad und fantastischem Frühstück. Selten, dass man so positiv überrascht wird, so dass wir direkt 5 Nächte geblieben sind. Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden, es gibt auch einen Shuttle-Service zum Bahnhof und Flughafen Semarang, das Hotel liegt sehr nah an der Kota Lama, das Frühstück bietet sehr viel Auswahl und schmeckt sehr lecker, das hoteleigene Restaurant Obsidian ist gut, es gibt eine schöne Bar am Hotel, die Preise sehr fair. Ein recht großes Gym ist auch vorhanden, aber etwas schwierig zu finden.

Einzig das Schwimmbad war leider wegen Renovierung geschlossen, aber es wird bestimmt gut werden, wenn wieder geöffnet. Und bei den Zimmern würde ich, trotz des ernüchternden Blicks auf den Hinterhof, nach einem Zimmer hinten raus fragen, weil die straßenseitigen Zimmer vielleicht etwas lauter sein könnten.

Het hotel heeft een gunstige ligging: tegenover de Aloon Aloon en op loopafstand van Kota Lama. Het personeel is allervriendelijkst. Het ontbijtbuffet biedt voor elk wat wils. Er is een goede koffiebar gevestigd in het hotel.

Ik vond de kamer op de tweede verdieping wat gehorig, met name door het verkeer en de naburige moskee. Voor mij waren de matrassen en hoofdkussens aan de harde kant. Verder kon ik niet echt terecht bij de receptie om vervoer te regelen van de ene naar de andere stad. Ook is met mijn melding rond de kluis die niet werkte, niets gedaan helaas.

La habitación era grande y tenía bastante variedad de comida en el restaurante. Además ofrecían un servicio gratuito de transfer al aeropuerto que funcionaba muy bien. Personal muy amable.

Las instalaciones eran antiquísimas. Estaba ubicado en una zona de mucho ruido y la habitación no estaba insonorizada, por lo que apenas dormimos.

Easy walk between Old Town and a good mall. There are some food street venders close also. The Alun-Aluun over the road is good on the Friday and Saturday nights (I read that it is also Sunday but we were gone by then) with food markets, a few things for the kids and music. Breakfast is plenty. The swimming pool is being fixed so not available until some time in November according to a note in the room but they can get you to another pool. Rooms are spacious with a fridge (we like a fridge). We had 2 rooms and would try and get rooms away from the street next time (the one away from the street was much quieter). The mosque close by is very loud and goes for a long time at 3:40-ish.

Fair location, but very noisy all night with loud music and 5 am loud music again for Zumba exercises. You need earplugs!

This was a lovely place to stay in Semarang. An ideal location close to the old town and malls and eating options, with great facilities including three inhouse restaurants, pool, spa, fitness centre and even a hair salon. But the standout was the quality of the staff - unfailingly friendly and helpful. It was my birthday during my stay and staff surprised me with a cake and singing happy birthday! Highly recommended.

Loved the breakfast menu. It is a old hotel but they managed to be the better old hotel than Jakarta. Definitely going to stay there again when I'm in Semarang.

Very good location. Not far from the airport and station. There are malls nearby if you need to buy food etc. Rooms are spacious even though it's old building. Staffs are friendly and helpful. They offer free airport service. We will stay here again.

The hotel has basically zero noise insulation from the outside. Rooms are very noisy, my friends had the same complain. Even with earplugs it was hard to sleep.

We had lunch here. The reception was colonial and the menu was pretentious The 4 course lunch lacked taste and it was cold, from start to finish: - cucumber salad - carrot soup - tenderloin steak with a tasteless sauce of unknown origin - desert with undisclosed ingredients that looked like the chef threw up. The vegetarians had a kind of caesar sslad without all the ingredients that make a caesar salad tatefull. For main they served something that looked like pizza but the average frozen supermarket pizza tasts better. So my advice: stay away and eat somewhere else!

We often choose when visiting Semarang at this hotel, the price is affordable with quite good facilities, starting from the service, rooms, and the breakfast available is quite varied. Even though at our age we can't eat everything, we can choose healthy and quite tasty food.

The hotel is strategic. The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast menu is various and tasty. Toiletries are complete. The staff are friendly and fast respons. Moreover, we got free drop off from hotel to Semarang Poncol Station. I had a great stay at Metro Park View Semarang with my family. Thank you for the service :)

One thing, the hospitality of the staff are truly great, keep it up! Since I just stay for one night so I could not review too much. On my next visit to Semarang, I would love to stay again in this hotel and on the next stay, I will try to review more details.

Locations is on walking distance to old city -Kota Lama- and heritage sites. For best icecream and cookies visit Toki Oen in Kota Lama!

Good and comfort vibes. Overall excellent. Full amenities, smart tv, good condition of all facilities (ex: bed, bathroom, etc). Me and family had very nice exprience while stay at this hotel. They also have so many choices of foods for Saur time cause its Ramadhan.

Each item should be clearly labeled with pricing details. I drank mineral water from a big bottle in my room, assuming it was complimentary like the small ones. Unfortunately, it wasn’t, and I had to pay for it, while only the small bottles were free.

So tired working all day in Pati, i arrived at 10 pm in Metro Park View. I have known this hotel because i slept here when i have some works to do at Tax Office near there (only 200 m). When i arrived, i was surprised with amazing, bright, warm, and so charming Lobby. I smile, thanks God, i am here again after 15 years ago, haha. Mr Eka, person on duty, help me to check, thanks to you. Surprise again with touchless lift, i fell in so comfort pillow then. So lucky.

The staff is ever so friendly and helpful, the room is very clean and spacious, and the breakfast is overwhelming. Everything is within walking distance, so yes, yes, yes, the perfect stay. Room was spacious. Clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Location was wonderful because I wanted to see the old town (Kota Lama). It only takes 7min by walk. Enough parking spaces.

But it was not cheap because of idul fitri holiday season. And pool was under construction. If I knew this before reservation I would not reserve this hotel. This kind of information should be informed before reservation. I was so disappointed. During breakfast many plate was empty but it takes too long to refill. I understand it's one of high season during idul fitri but they should be managed. Because of the season I saw many kids running and scream around hotel, even when it was dark. It was hard to fall a sleep.

the staff's friendliness

The staff was very slow to respond to anything, and they didn't get it at the first time. There was a drop of milk on the restaurant floor and I asked them to mop it. Ten minutes passed but nobody came. Ten minutes later someone came with a broom, not a mop. This happened repeatedly. Anyhow, the staff was friendly. Oh, and the swimming pool was still under construction, without any notice when we booked. Had we known this, we'd have chosen another hotel.

Althought I had mentioned about the amount of person staying at the hotel, we had to wait for a long time before getting towels into the room allowing to take a shower*? No idea what was the reason. After repeating several times that the shower was not working, only the evening before the departure we could have a "shower". By the way, the swimming pool was not accessible due to renovation. I did not see this while I was booking the rooms.

Location near old town was convenient. Breakfast had a good selection.

Pool was closed and no notice was given until after booking was confirmed and we arrived. The noise insulation between rooms and with street was poor so early Sunday morning we were woken by street outside.
